In Isaiah 41:13, God said, 

For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Glory be to God. I welcome you to month of accomplishment.


In 2 Chronicles 31, the bible shares an account of how King Hezekiah led a revival and reformation in the land of Judah.


Through Hezekiah's leadership people everywhere responded by giving freely to the extent that there was surplus!


Then the bible recalls that, "in the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month".

2Chronicles 31:7.


I pray for you today, this month will yield increase for you and your family, the good Lord will surpass your expectations and the faithfulness of our good God will be evident upon your life in Jesus name. 🙏




   The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Psalm 37:23


May your steps align with the plan of God for you in this year 2022 and beyond in Jesus name!

                                PRAISE THE LORD


Hallelujah! How good it is to sing praises to God. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.


People of God, the LORD is my God; I will honor Him and praise His name. He has done amazing and wonderful things for me; He has faithfully carried out the plans He had for me long ago. What a mighty God I serve!


My brothers and Sisters, I know you have your own personal reasons to praise God, however, perhaps you do not have many reasons as I do, *please praise God for my sake. Offer praises to God on my behalf. He alone is worthy of my praise.*

*From Him and through Him and to Him are all things that we are or will ever have.* John 3:27


I don't know about you, as long as I live ( by His grace I will live long. 🙏) my mouth shall speak the praises of the LORD. I will make known His name across the world.


To Him alone be all the glory forever in Jesus name. 🙏

                       TANGIBLE PROOFS OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS

Ideally, christianity is all about a faith base tradition that focuses on the Lord Jesus Christ. That's why the bible says, *"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith* Hebrews 12:2.

The expectation is that when you fix your attention on Jesus you are looking away from all the issues and distractions of life. In other words, irrespective of what you are going through, your focus is on Jesus.

On the contrary, the people of the world are not fixing their eyes on Jesus, they are merely looking at you and I for proofs of Gods faithfulness in our lives!

The reality is that people only give you recognition and relate with you base on what they see and on the basis of your wealth, title, position, the house you live in, the car you drive, etc.

In the absence of any substantial proof of God's faithfulness in your life, you will not earn their respect. No one really cares about your commitment to God, prayer life, your hustle or the effort you put into what you do, they only want to see tangible proofs that testify to God's faithfulness.

I remember an old song by Evangelist Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi which says, *Olowo laye mo!*

The English translation of that song says-

"The people of the world only reckon with the wealthy,

Lord my life is in your hands.

The struggles of man

is because of money.

Make my life sweet

Shape my destiny, so I can be somebody great.

Quickly show me the way Lord,

Don't let me go in vain"

I say a powerful Amen to the lyrics of this song in Jesus name.🙏


The last part of that song that says, *Don't let me go in vain"*

has been a source of concern to many believers.

After following Jesus for a while without anything to show for it , Peter and other disciples were deeply concerned. They asked *"we have left everything and followed you, what is our reward?"


Then Jesus said to them everyone who has left everything to follow me *"will receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life.* Mark 10:29

I pray for you and for myself, we will not live this world until we have received all the reward of serving God. The Lord will bless us with proofs of His faithfulness in Jesus name. 🙏


When our Lord Jesus began His earthly Ministry, He was not regarded by His people. They mocked Him. They said *“Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And are not His brothers, James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?* Matthew 13:55.


Those people knew His background. Truly, there was nothing significant or great about Jesus' family background. His earthly parents were ordinary people.

However, the narrative of Jesus changed afterwards. His fame began to spread across Judea, Syria and the surrounding countries. He became the most sought after. Then, the village people that once mocked Jesus said;

*“A great prophet has risen up among us”; and, “God has visited His people.”*

Luke 7:16.

The good news is that our God is very interested in blessing us with proofs of His faithfulness. He says; *'I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.*

Jeremiah 29:11 Good news translation.


*Delay is not denial!* Some people might have said to your face that you are too old to marry or give birth. They might have said buying a car and owning a house of your own are totally beyond you. Don't be bothered, they are not God. The Almighty God will bless and honour you before their very eyes in the name of Jesus. 🙏

*Our God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown for His name sake.* Hebrews 6:10.


Hear me, because of your love for God and His work, the Lord will make you a force to reckon with in your family, office, country and the world at large in Jesus name. 🙏.

Congratulations to you for witnessing the beginning of a new month, which is the seventh month of the year. Seven (7), is the number of completeness and perfection.

Concerning you and I, the Lord will perfect and complete His good works

over us in the name of Jesus. 🙏 The glory of the latter months of this year shall be greater than the former in the name of Jesus. 🙏 

What is difficult for others shall be made easy for you and I. When others are complaining of a downturn, for us, it shall be for a lifting in the Mighty name of Jesus. 🙏.


Beloved, as it is written: *“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”* (1 Corinthians 2:9) are the things God has prepared for us in this month and we will not miss out in the name of Jesus. 🙏


I pray for you and for myself, in this new month and beyond, the Lord will make us a reference point for good health, a channel of blessings, a symbol of desirable achievements and many more good things of life in Jesus name. 🙏

                   RELEASED ON THE 11TH OF JUNE 2021

                          COMFORT ONE ANOTHER!


Losing a loved one is part of life, but that doesn’t make it any easier for anyone to deal with the agony. Apparently, the death of a loved one whether young or old will often takes its toll on those left behind and at times it can feel like the grief is never going to end.

*The good news is that we know that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will raise with Him the believers who have died knowing and accepting Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 4:14


Truly *"the LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.Psalm 34:18. The truth of the matter is that on many occasions, God uses some us to encourage and provide support for those who are mourning.


When our Lord Jesus got to the house of Lazarus and saw people weeping, the bible says, *Jesus wept*.John 11:33-36

We do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who knows what it is to grieve.

Hebrews 4:15.


We all need a shoulder to lean on in our difficult moments.

That's why the bible says,

*Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.* James 1:27.


The reality of life is that *"no one knows his time: like fish caught in a cruel net or like birds caught in a trap, so people are trapped in an evil time as it suddenly falls on them.* Ecclesiastes 9:12.


While you and I are still here, God expects us to comfort one another. "Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn"* Romans 12:15.


When Jesus said, *"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted* (Matthew 5:4.), He was counting on using you and I to care for those who have been bereaved.


*Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."*

2 Corinthians 1:3-4.


The God we serve does not discriminate. *Acts 10:1-48*

God said: *"I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,”* Ezekiel 18: 32. So who are you to rejoice or imply victory over the death of another? Everyone will surely die anyway.


Our God is , *" the God of all flesh:* (Jeremiah 32:27.) It does not matter who is bereaved, God expects us to support and comfort the family left behind, irrespective of our differences, affiliations, party, religion or denomination.


People of God, the world is watching our body language, people are taking notes of our utterance and they are also reading meanings to the silence and our indifference.


More importantly, God said, *“If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey wandering off, you must bring it back to him.*

Exodus 23:4:


We are not called to show partiality or treat people differently.

*"what's good for the goose is also good for the gander".*

Our Lord Jesus said, *"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."* John 13:35.


Comfort those who are mourning, *"share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ."* Galatians 6:2.


Permit me to use this medium to extend my sincere

condolences to the families of General Attahiru and other people who died in the recent plane crash. My thoughts and prayers are definitely with the families of our beloved Pastor Dare Adeboye, Pastor Folorunso Abina and also the family of Prophet T.B Joshua and many more families and friends of those who have lost their loved ones in recent times.


May our good God be with you all and give you comfort. May He wrap His arms around you and give you peace and hope. May He fill you with strength, and may you feel His love and never feel forsaken in Jesus Mighty name. 🙏

                               THE GRACE IN YOU


Jesus said; "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing". John 15:5.


Therefore, permit me to say to you that

the race is not to the swift, or the battle to the strong, or bread to the wise, or riches to the discerning, or favor to the skillful; rather, it is by God's grace that we prevail and succeed in life.

All our accomplishments are by His grace alone. For "no one can receive anything, unless it has been given to him from heaven. John 3:27.


We are who we are today as a result of God's grace upon our lives. Grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Ephesians 4:7.


Personally, I became a servant of this Gospel solely as a result of the gift of God's grace that was given to me by the working of His power. It confirms the words of our Lord Jesus when He said : "My grace is sufficient for you". 2 Corinthians 12:9. 


If it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works. In fact, our salvation is by God's grace. The bible says,

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8.


Therefore, no one should boast or take glory over his or her achievements. It is not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. (Zechariah 4:6.) 


It is the Spirit of Grace that is working in you and not your own ability.


Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16


However, What should we say? Should we keep on sinning, so that God's gift of undeserved grace will show up even better?Certainly not! Romans 6:1-2.


Accept Jesus today and flee from all appearances of sin.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit continue to be with you in Jesus name.🙏.

                                   GOD WILL MAKE A WAY!


"No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it."

1Corinthians 10:13.


Jesus made us to understand that life is not meant to be smooth for anybody.

( John16:33 )


There will be challenges and trials along the way. There will be situations that will appear very tough like someone in a dead end. However, in spite of the difficulties one will experience in such tough situations and the obvious limited options available to us as natural being, our God is a miraculous God who specializes in making ways out of no way.


There is nothing too hard for God. Jeremiah 32:27.


The bible captures the story of the Pool of Bethseda in Jerusalem, beside that Pool was a man who had been sick for 38 years. John 5:5.


According to the bible, there were multitudes of people who were always ready to jump into the Pool for their healing whenever an Angel stirs the water.

For many years by the Pool side, no one cared about the plight of that man; he did not have anyone to help him ( John 5:5 ) it was a story of "every man for himself" just as it is today.


There was no way out for the sick man until he met Jesus; the Help of the helpless, who introduced Himself as the way (John 14:6). Eventually, Jesus healed the man without having to put him into the Pool.


That same Jesus is interested in your case today. It does not matter what you have gone through or what you are facing right now. Jesus is the way maker!

We serve a God who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters Isaiah 43:16.


He is saying to you today, "I myself will prepare your way, leveling mountains and hills. I will break down bronze gates and smash their iron bars". Isaiah 45:2.


It won't be long!


May the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, settle and make ways for you in Jesus name. 🙏

                                           BE THE LIGHT!


The bible says;  "For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!."  Ephesians 5:8


The primary function of light is to illuminate and give direction. Therefore,as children of light our primary duty is to be the light that will make others to know Jesus.


Our lifestyles must preach Jesus, we are expected to walk in a manner that will give direction to people who are still living in darkness, proclaiming the virtues of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. (1 Peter 2:9)


Be the light in your family, be the light to your friends and colleagues, be the light to your children. Be that light directing others to Jesus. 


Be a soul winner!


May grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 🙏

                                   YOUR LIGHT WILL SHINE!


Light is used in the Scripture to symbolize God. "This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all". 1 John 1:5.

Significantly, when our Lord Jesus was born on earth, the bible says wise men came to Jerusalem saying to the Jews,


“where is He who was born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east, and we came to worship Him.” Matthew 2:2.

Invariably, a star signifies light and Jesus testified to this when He said;

"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12.

By extension, children of God (Believers) are God's representatives on earth and we are meant to showcase the light of God wherever we are.

That's why Jesus said; “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16.

It is the light of God upon you that distinguishes you from the crowd.

Jesus spoke about John the Baptist; "John was a lamp that burned and gave light" John 5:35.

Can Jesus say the same concerning you and I today ? Therefore, let that light shine!


However, it is important to know that we carry different kinds of light. How do I know this? The bible says, "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory". 1 Corinthians 15:41.

In other words, some of us are light unto our generations, while some are light for the country, town or family they come from. It does not matter what light you carry, it must shine!


I don't know about you, but as for me 🎹🎤 this little light of mine

I'm going to let it shine

Let it shine, all the time, let it shine.......


King David was regarded as the lamp of Israel. The bible records that he and his men went and fought the Philistines. During the battle David grew tired"

2 Samuel 21:15


At that moment, A Philistine soldier had cornered David and was about to kill him, but Abishai son of Zeruiah came to David's rescue; he struck the Philistine down and killed him. Then David's men swore to him, saying, "Never again will you go out with us to battle, so that the lamp of Israel will not be extinguished."

2 Samuel 21:17.


I pray for you reading this, the light of God upon you will not be extinguished in Jesus name. 🙏.


Nobody can stop the sun and the moon from giving out light, therefore you and I are unstoppable!


You are a light in that family, a light in that organisation, a light to your nation, a light to your generation and many more.

Your light will not go dim, it will continue to shine brighter and brighter in Jesus name.🙏


However, when you carry a great light, you should be prepared to experience hatred, battles and challenges of life. David had to overcome a lot of hatred and battles because of the light in him. Concerning our Lord Jesus, it was because of the appearance of the star (light) that the wise men saw that triggered Herod to order the killing of all the boys of two years and below. Matthew 2:16.

Meanwhile, FEAR NOT, the good news today is that, because no one could stop Jesus from fulfilling His purpose on earth, no one will be able to stop you and I from shining our light when God wants it to shine in Jesus name. 🙏

                                     JESUS PAID THE PRICE FOR YOU!


He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5.


Jesus gave Himself as a ransom for our redemption and freedom. " In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace"  Ephesians 1:7.


People of God, it is important for us to always remember that our Lord Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sins and for the freedom we have today as children of God. We cannot afford to live our lives in sins or live carelessly like other people do. For  " we are not like that, for we are a chosen people. royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light" 1 Peter 2:9.


As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, we should also take it upon ourselves to have a re- evaluation of our lives. Paraventure you have fallen away, this season is a good time to make amends where necessary so you can be restored through repentance.


I pray that the same power that resurrected Jesus will also give life to everything that concerns you in Jesus name. 🙏

                                     PREPARE TO MEET YOUR GOD!


God spoke to the children of Israel as recorded in Amos 4:12 - saying, "Prepare to meet your God". He is saying the same today to you and I;

"Prepare to meet your God".


In other words, we are living in the last days. The Second Coming of our Lord Jesus is around the corner. Therefore, we are to prepare for Him.

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the Second coming of our Lord Jesus. For in the days of Noah, people were more

pre-occupied with pleasures of life. Matthew 24:37-39.

The situation is even worse in this generation. For the world today only offers craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. 1 John 2:16.


Unfortunately for us in this dispensation, all of what we crave for will not matter on the last day. *Therefore, it is time to repent and start seeking after things that have eternal consequences and value.* Matthew 6:33

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent .Acts 17:30


Just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ Jesus having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrews 9:27-28.


This is what the soon coming King said: "Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done".

Revelation 22:12


We can fool and deceive people around us, but You cannot fool God, so don't make a fool of yourself! God knows everything about you.

Let us begin to live everyday as if is the last day we will live on earth.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things and do them.*

Phillippians 4:8.


I say to you once again; Prepare to meet your God!


When the time comes, may our good God finds us worthy enough to be acceptable unto Him in Jesus name. 🙏

That which had been impossible for you to attain will be possible even beyond your dreams in the name of Jesus. 🙏


The Lord will preserve you and your family from accident, misfortune and every appearance of evil in name of Jesus.🙏


A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. Psalm 91:7


Above all, you will not lose your salvation but I encourage you to continue to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Phillippians 2:12), even as you grow in the knowledge of our good God in Jesus Mighty name. 🙏

                                             WHO ARE YOU LOYAL TO?


Loyalty can be defined as exhibiting *consistent* allegiance or support to a person or institution. Much emphasis is placed on the word: "consistent" because loyalty connotes; unwavering devotion, faithfulness, allegiance and commitment towards a sovereign, government, leader, person, course, institution, etc.


That was why Ruth said to Naomi, her mother-in-law;

*"Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God".* Ruth 1:16


In other words, loyalty means; irrespective of the situation or circumstances, actions and words of a leader, your allegiance towards him or her will remain intact an unaffected.


The reality of this life is that everyone has a tendency to change.The only One who does not change is God! God's attributes remain the same from generation to generation. His character never changes, He is *"unchangeable and consistent!".


*Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8


Our loyalty should be first and foremost towards God. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment. " Matthew 22:37-38.


We need to be conscious of the fact that we serve a jealous God who says, "My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved idols."

Isaiah 42:8.


This message is particularly meant for believers who now worship their pastors. *Hear the word of God that I preach to you, as far as the work of God is concerned, your absolute loyalty is not to your pastor, but rather to Jesus that you see in the lifestyle of your pastor!


That's why Apostle Paul said; "Imitate me, as I also imitate Christ".

1 Corinthians 11:1.


Our Lord Jesus owns this work! "He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers". Ephesians 4:11


Your pastor or the one who ordained you have done a futile exercise if Jesus did not call you to His work. So stop idolizing him. "No one can become a high priest simply because he wants such an honor. He must be called by God for this work, just as Aaron was". Hebrews 5:4.


The "blind loyalty" that exist in the Christendom today will send many believers to hell fire if care is not taken.


A popular Yoruba adage says; *"eni ran ni se laberu" meaning, your loyalty should be towards the person that sends you on errand.

Therefore, I 'm loyal to JESUS!


A former Governor of Lagos State, said, "May our loyalty never be tested".

Truly, God has a way of testing our loyalty. The story of  "a man of God from Judah" recorded in 1 Kings 13 is very instructive.


God specifically sent him on errand to Bethel and instructed him not to drink or eat there nor take same route going into the city and coming out of it.

In the course of delivering the message of God in Bethel, God used King Jeroboam to test the loyalty of the man of God and he passed the test by declining the offer to eat with the King.


However, the man of God failed the second test by succumbing to the offer of a prophet in Bethel, who told him the contrary of God's instructions.

Eventually, the man of God died untimely because he obliged to a prophet against the clear instructions of God.


"Every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Romans 14:12.

Therefore, your loyalty to a mentor, leader or your pastor should have a boundary or limitation.


Your total loyalty should be to Jesus who cannot change, fail or falter.

Job said; "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in him". Job 13:15


I don't know about you, I have decided to follow this Jesus. Though none go with me, I still will follow; no turning back, no turning back.


JESUS! is the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6.


If you are loyal to Jesus, you will not be ashamed to spread the Gospel. Tell someone about the love of Jesus and the reality of His Second Coming.

The wise are cautious and avoid danger; but fools plunge ahead with reckless confidence. Proverbs 14:16.


People of God, it would be very foolish and careless at this time for anyone to downplay the contagious nature of Covid-19 and the importance of observing all guidelines necessary to prevent the spread of the virus.


Wearing a mask does not make anyone a coward, but flagrant disregard of preventive measures is nothing but foolishness and recklessness.

Concerning our Lord Jesus, an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream. “ Get up!” he said. “Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.” Matthew 2:13.


That's why the bible says; A wise person sees evil and hides himself to avoid it, but fools pass on, and will be punished. Proverbs 27:12

A word is enough for the wise! He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches.’ Revelation 2:29.

                                           HELP IS ON THE WAY!


The Psalmist made us to understand that God honours and magnifies His Word more that all His names (Psalm 138:2), and one of the promises of God says; "fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you."  Isaiah 41:10.


The reality of this life is that everyone of us needs help of some sort. Irrespective of your status, there will be one thing or the other that you will need help for. The bible says, "Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and in high favor, because by him the LORD had given victory to Syria. He was a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper."  2 Kings 5:1.


That is the irony of life, although Namaan was a great man in all ramifications, but yet he was a leper who desperately needed help for the cleansing of his leprosy. 2 kings 5.


The story of Namaan always reminds me of a popular Soap Opera I loved to watch in the early 90ties, titled; "The Rich Also Cry". Apparently, many of the so-called super rich people need help that money cannot buy.


People of God, the kind of help I am preaching about is not one from man, rather, it's the help from God (Psalm 121:1-2). It's about God (Commanding or mandating) using man to help you.


After Elijah prophesied before Ahab that there will be no rain for a few years, God instructed him to go hide by the brook of Cherith, where he was getting water to drink from the brook. But after a while the brook dried up, for there was no rainfall anywhere in the land. 1 Kings 17:7.


In other words, even Men of God also need help! Elijah was stranded and he needed help. Then the word of the Lord came to him saying; "Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” 1 Kings 17:9.


I say to you again, help is on the way! Your closeness to the person God will use to help you is immaterial. In fact, whether the person will be willing to help you should never be your area of concern, for God has a way of instilling your matter in the mind of the one He will connect you with to help you. Exodus 3:22.


Interesting, that was what played out in the case of Elijah. When Elijah saw the woman of Zarephath, she was about to eat her last meal with her son and die because she had lost hope of surviving the famine in the land. Elijah requested that the woman should give him water and prepare a cake for him first, somehow the woman obliged him by surrendering part of her meal to Elijah, because God was involved.


Fortunately, for the woman and her son, God sent Elijah to them at that time because they needed help desperately. Elijah said to the woman.

"This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: There will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the LORD sends rain and the crops grow again!” 1Kings 17:14.


While the land of Israel was experiencing a famine of three years, Elijah, with the woman and her son were not affected because God made provision for them for the flour and the oil did not finish!. 


Our God is the ever present help in times of trouble. Psalm 46:1. I don't know what kind of help you need, this is what the Lord says. “For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand, Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’ 🙏 Isaiah 41:13.


Are you in despair or stranded in one way or the other? Are you feeling overwhelmed by the situation around you? The helper of the helpless (JESUS ) says; "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest". Matthew 11:28.


No matter what your situation is, call on God and have hope that your help is on the way! That situation will not consume you, you are coming out of it, for God is sending help to you and you will have a way of escape in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                 JESUS KNOWS


People of God, it gladdens my heart that we have a High Priest (JESUS) who is able to empathize with our weaknesses and predicament. Someone who had gone through all that we may be going through now. Hebrews 4:15.


Apparently, there is no hiding place for anyone of us. Jesus knows everything about us. People of God, when Jesus was choosing His disciples, the bible says He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.”.


Out of excitement Philip went to look for his friend, Nathaniel and told him, “We have found the very person Moses and the prophets wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth. Come and see for yourself."

Nathaniel followed Philip to meet Jesus for the first time and Jesus saw him approaching said; “Now here is a genuine son of Israel, a man of complete integrity.”


Nathaniel was surprised that Jesus knew him intimately, so he said to Jesus, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” John 1: 43-48.


In other words, Jesus sees every moment of our lives, whether in the open or in the closet. King David understood that God is an all-knowing God, hence he wrote, "O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether".

Psalm 139:1-4


Jesus also knows what it feels like to experience issues of life.

The bible says, "Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered. Matthew 21:19.


He experienced disappointment before, so He knows and understands your feelings when you go through disappointment.


Do you feel lonely or forsaken? Jesus also cried to God at some point; “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Matthew 27:46.


Without doubt, Jesus knows about your tears, pain, struggles, delay, marital issues, sickness, failure etc. You can be sure He has your best interest at heart! That's why the Lord says; For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11.


The Lord that knows what you go through in secret will reward you openly in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                     PRAY!


One of the bible characters that stood out for me is Cornelius (Acts 10).The bible described him as "a devout man who feared God with all his household, gave alms generously to the people and prayed continually to God. Acts 10:2.


Interestingly, his lifestyle got the attention of God. An Angel said to him in a vision;

"Your prayers and your acts of charity have ascended as a memorial offering before God. Acts 10:4.


It goes to show that prayer connects us with God. "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16


Let us not be complacent with the affairs of this world, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Phillippians 4:6.


It doesn't matter how long you have been praying on that issue, don't stop. "Cast your bread upon the waters,for you will find it after many days." Ecclesiastes 11:1.


The God who accepted the prayers of Cornelius will answer your prayers in Jesus name. 🙏

Today, as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus, let us all remember that the assignment He gave us all to do for Him is to;

“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation". Mark 16:15.


There are many people out there that are yet to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour, let us use our lives to preach Jesus to them.

The bible says: "Good news from far away is like cold water to the thirsty" Proverbs 25:25.


The importance and the effect of hearing good news cannot be overemphasized. King David in one of his Psalms prayed a prayer to God, saying; "Make me to hear joy and gladness" Psalm 51:8.

That prayer may seem very simple to many of us, but it's very loaded indeed. Good news usually brings hope, relief, joy and excitement to the hearers.

Therefore, as this year is coming to an end, the Lord Almighty will cause you and I to ear only good news concerning everyone that is connected to us in the name of Jesus.


It does not matter the kinds of news that are coming out of our TV, Radio and Social Media platforms lately, I pray for you again, the Lord will cause you to hear good news that will bring perpetual hope, relief and joy to you and all your loved ones in the name of Jesus .

God brings down and lifts up. He raises up the poor from the dust; He lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. 1 Samuel 2:7 & 8. He removes kings and promotes others to be kings. Daniel 2:21. He topples the mighty from their thrones and exalts the lowly in their place. Luke 1:52. He sets on high those who are lowly and those who mourn are lifted to safety. Job 5:11


Therefore, if the Spirit of God who raised Jesus from death lives in you, then you can be sure He who raised Christ will also lift you beyond your imaginations. God will lift you above your enemies, above all sickness, above mountains, sin, sorrow and above every limitation of life in Jesus name.🙏.


🎼🎤 Lifted, I am lifted, I am lifted by the Lord, above sin and sorrow into the presence of the Lord.

                                       GOD IS INTERESTED IN YOU!


Let no one glory in himself; "A king does not win because of his powerful army; a soldier does not triumph because of his strength". Psalm (33:16). Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Psalm 127:1.


You and I are alive today because God is still interested in using us for His purpose. The same road you ply on a regular basis have swallowed many people. The kind of sickness that have killed the super rich, has not taken your own life. Beloved, it is not luck, for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work according to His good purpose.

Phillippians 2:13.


Continue to hold on to God and do not take His grace for granted. Romans 6:1

He who has kept us under the shadow of His wings for this long, will continue to preserve us for many more glorious years in the name of Jesus. 🙏

                                                    TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!


"It is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God.". Ecclesiastes 5:19.


On the other hand, "God gives some people great wealth and honor and everything they could ever want, but then He doesn’t give them the chance to enjoy these things. They die, and someone else, even a stranger, ends up enjoying their wealth..." Ecclesiastes 6:2.


Truly, death is inevitable for all of us. However, the fact remains that many people are dying untimely due to treatable and preventable diseases caused or aggravated by unhealthy lifestyles and habits of paying less attention to their health.


Many of us are guilty of being preoccupied with work and making money, forgetting that

health is the most important thing in our lives. It is only when you are healthy that you have the capacity to physically and mentally create wealth and enjoy the wealth. That explains the popular saying; "health is wealth".


Although God promised us good health and long life, however, we should not take the promises of God for granted. The bible says; "make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and to knowledge self-control and to self-control perseverance and to perseverance godliness;" 2 Peter 1:5&6.

In other words, we are expected to add some other qualities to our faith, which includes knowledge and self- control. Having adequate knowledge of what a healthy lifestyle is and taking full responsibility, by being in control of your health is very critical.

A Yoruba adage says; "Ti idi ba baje tan,ti onidi lo mada". It means, if the buttock is damaged, the owner will suffer the consequences. Everyone is responsible for his or her wellness.

People of God, let us not be overly spiritual about our health. Regular health check up is very important. You cannot cheat nature, your immune system reduces with age, so living a healthy lifestyle is part of what will guarantee your longevity.

Jesus said; “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? Matthew 5:13.


You should make conscious and dedicated efforts to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Pray regularly for sound health, eat healthily, exercise regularly, maintain adequate sleeping patterns and be very religious in taking your medication if you are on any.


Just as the bible verse, 3 John:1:2 says; " I wish above all things" that you prioritize your health. In every situation, your health and wellbeing should come first, thereafter you will be able to impact the world around you. You are only useful and valuable to others if you are healthy.

Once again I say to you beloved, take good care of yourself!


May the Lord grant us good health and may we all live long to fulfill the years God has purposed for us in Jesus' name. 🙏

                                                                  KEEP THE FAITH!


The Christian journey is a walk by faith and not by sight ( 2 Corinthians 5:7). Meaning, our life is never predicated on circumstances around us nor on the limitations that we see or perceive.


The bible says; "faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen".

Hebrews 11:1


Keeping the faith is about you continuing to believe in and having unwavering trust in God, especially when it is difficult and the surrounding circumstances are not favourable.


Jairus a ruler of the synagogue had faith in Jesus , so when he saw Jesus, he fell at His feet and pleaded earnestly with him, "My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live." Mark 5:22 & 23.


Fortunately for Jairus, Jesus agreed and decided to follow Jairus. The journey to Jairus' house, from Jairus point of view was meant to be a direct and unhindered one but soon after, distractions and discouraging events started unfolding.


People of God, along every road of our journey in life lies distractions and discouragements. However, in spite of all that we will encounter in life, we are being enjoined to continue to hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering. Hebrews 10:23.


On that road to Jairus' house was "the woman with the issue of blood". The bible says;

"She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years, she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. Mark 5:26


One significant thing to be learnt from the woman is that, in spite of what she has gone through, she kept the faith. Having tried all the physicians around and her case grew worse, she could have given up, but the bible says; "When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his clothing". Mark 5:27


For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” Mark 5:28.

Are you also trusting God for healing or fruit of the womb? I say to you Keep the faith. It does not matter how many times you have tried several medications, don't give up just yet, your story is about to change.


While Jesus was attending to the woman with the issue of blood, news came from Jairus' house that his daughter has died and that he should stop bothering Jesus. At that point, one could imagine Jairus' faith must have been shattered. Jesus heard what they said, and he said to Jairus, "Don't worry. Just have faith!" Mark 5:36.


In other words, Jesus told Jairus to keep the faith! You must have been following Jesus for many years and there seem not to be many tangible things to point to, then you have started thinking of alternatives, may be you are losing hope, or doubting that your dreams and vision might not come to pass after all, I say to you; keep the faith!


There might not be any sign of light at the end of your tunnel, I say to you again, keep the faith! Just like it happened to Jairus and his daughter was brought back to life, you too will see the glory of God concerning that issue in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                      GOD'S PURPOSE FOR YOU IS SURE!


The bible clearly states that we have been predestined according to the purpose of God who works all things in accordance to the counsel of His will. Ephesians 1:11.


The situation around you now might not seem favourable or likely to produce anything significant, but God says: *"I have let you live for this purpose: to show you My power and to make My name known in all the earth". Exodus 9:16.

God has a purpose for everyone of us and He is always determined to assist us to establish those purposes.


Though the wicked people may intend evil against you and devise a plot to stop you, they will not succeed because no purpose of God can be thwarted!


Remember, things were not particularly smooth for our Lord Jesus. When He was to be given birth to, there was no room available so He was born in the manger. Luke 2:7. Soon after that, Herod tried to kill Him, (Matthew 2:16) but he failed because God's had purposed Jesus for our redemption. John 3:16


That same God will fulfill His purpose for you and make His plan concerning you to be established in Jesus name.🙏

                                                     WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES


One of the greatest attributes of a good leader is empathy. The word "empathy" is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Having empathy as a leader means that you fully understand the predicaments of the people and your utterances, silence, speeches, actions and decisions must reflect clear indications of your concern for the plight of the people.


Unfortunately, our leaders in Nigeria have consistently demonstrated a high level of impunity, incompetence, insensitivity, greed, wickedness and lack of empathy to the plight of the citizenry.

There's no justification for any leader to have instituted a means to amass mind bulging wealth for himself through collection of people's taxes and those people are still living in abject poverty. In the same vein, what justification can be adduced to the discovery of food and provisions meant for the alleviation of the sufferings of people being kept in a secret warehouse. They are both birds of the same feather!


That is what I call "wickedness in high places".


May the judgement of God come upon all our leaders who have impoverished the people to amass wealth for themselves. The bible says; "He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the LORD." Proverbs 17:15

People of God, the time has come to fully make our leaders to be accountable for their failed promises and flagrant incompetence. We have indulged them for too long!


Although, we will not stop praying, but let it be known that the solution to bad governance lies in voicing out our discontent consistently and using our PVC to vote out all the wicked thieves and incompetent leaders that we have condoned and tolerated for so long.


However, be assured that all our wicked leaders and their accomplices will not go unpunished.

May the Lord give them the punishment they so richly deserve! Measure it out in proportion to their wickedness. Pay them back for all their evil deeds! Give them a taste of what they have done to others (Psalm 28:4) in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                           DON'T BE SILENT!


The bible says; Speak up for those who have no voice, for the justice of all who are dispossessed. Proverbs 31:8


Without any iota of doubt, the events of recent times and the ongoing clamour for Police reform in Nigeria is unveiling a new sense of awakening and involvement of the youth in current affairs and good governance. This new development across the Nation clearly signifies that what is most important to us as a people must be spoken, made verbal and shared, even when there are risks of having it bruised aside or misunderstood.


Albert Einstein once said; "The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it."


Therefore, let it be known that anything is possible when the youth have a common voice and a message. More than ever before, this is the time to continuously speak out, we have kept quiet for too long. Democracy is a system of government in which power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through their elected representatives.


However, when the elected representatives of the people fail to implement the wishes of the people, it is imperative that the people use their voices effectively through peaceful protest.

Let it also be known that, the ongoing protest is not a partisan protest or attack towards a particular Leader or Political party, it is a long overdue call for good governance. 


Apart from the #EndPoliceBrutality , we have deep rooted issues that require the government to allow the people to decide the way forward through *referendum*. We cannot continue to live in denial that the present structure in Nigeria is working for the generality of the people.


Therefore, irrespective of the position you occupy at this point, you are expected to use your voice. The older generations kept quiet and we are suffering for their silence today, who knows the level of decadence the next generation will have to endure if nothing is done now.

Use your voice now, make it louder!

                                                     GOD ISN'T DONE WITH YOU YET!


Every opportunity to see a new day is an indication that God is still very much interested in you. He isn't done with you just yet.


The bible says;

"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end"

Lamentations 3 :22. Similarly, a popular Yoruba phrase says; "Ile aanu oluwa ki su" meaning "the chances or opportunity for God's mercy does not lapse. In other words, as long as we live there is no limit or deadline for God's faithfulness over our lives.


Concerning Isaac, the bible says; "The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him."

Genesis 26:13&14.


God continued to bless Isaac despite his enormous wealth. Therefore, irrespective of what you have achieved before now, you can be sure God is not finished with you just yet. There is always room for improvement and for greater heights to be attained.


In the same vein, there is no closed case with our God. The man by the Pool of Bethesda was although sick and helpless for 38 years, but when Jesus showed up for him, the struggles and pain of those years came to an abrupt end. John 5:1-16.


My beloved in Christ Jesus, better days are still very much ahead of you and I because God is still working on us, He is not done yet. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10.


As it is written, what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever conceived is what God has prepared for us and He will bring them to manifestation in Jesus name.🙏


It does not matter how long you have prayed and waited over that same matter without any answer, God said; "At the right time, I, the LORD, will make it happen.” Isaiah 60:22.


Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16


For there is no one like our God, who is always interested in our rising. May He continue to lift us up in every area of our lives in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                          A GLIMMER OF HOPE


During the time of Noah, God used rain to destroy the whole earth, except the Ark of Noah and all that were in it. The waters prevailed so mightily on the earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered. Genesis 7:19


However, "the water decreased steadily until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains became visible". Genesis 8:5


Any prolonged situation can be very discouraging, a glimmer of hope is a small sign that makes one to believe that there is a slight chance that something positive will happen. On that first day of the tenth month, seeing the top of the mountain was a glimmer of hope for Noah and all the inhabitants of the Ark.


Therefore, I pray for you and for myself, may this day brings hope to every area of our lives in Jesus might name. 🙏

I beseech you not to be ashamed to tell other people about our Lord Jesus and the joy of knowing Him. Jesus said; "Those who declare publicly that they belong to me, I will do the same for them before my Father in heaven". Matthew 10:32.


Therefore, do not keep the love of God to yourself, share it with many others! The responsibility to share Jesus and make Him known lies in us, for we are already part of God's family having received Jesus and believed in His name. Remember the bible says "as for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:20.


My prayer is that as we put into action the love and the generosity that comes from our Faith, we shall continue to grow in understanding and in experiencing all the good things we have in our Lord Jesus Christ 🙏

                                                            YOU NEED FAVOUR!


We live in a highly competitive world today. There is hardly any business, vocation, field or industry where there is no competition. Without doubt, education is very important and learning one skill or the other is the way to go in the world we live in today. However, even in the midst of qualified people, there is high competition.


Therefore, in order to thrive amidst many competitors you will need to have a 'cutting edge' advantage. I mean something that will make you to be chosen ahead of other people.

In this part of the world, we often talk about 'who you know' , which is having a good relationship with influential people, but experiences of life have revealed that influential people are not always reliable.


On the other hand, some people are of the opinion that for one to be successful in life you need an element of luck. Very true, ( Ecclesiastes 9:11) However, the bible also says; "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning". James 1:17.


In other words, "No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven". John 3:27.

People of God, favour is what gives you an edge over other people in your profession, business or calling. That's why the Psalmist prayed; "May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us-- yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17.


Favour is the distinguishing factor that will make one to stand out and be the preferred choice above many other people. The story of Esther brings to bear the power of God's favour in one's life. There was a need to choose a new queen for King Ahaseurus and a request was made to all beautiful virgins in the land to come for a beauty contest.


Among the ladies for the contest was a Jewish lady called Esther. When Esther appeared before the coordinator of the contest, the bible says; "She pleased him and won his favor. Immediately he provided her with her beauty treatments and special food. He assigned to her seven female attendants selected from the king's palace and moved her and her attendants into the best place in the harem". Esther 2:9


From that point, "Esther found favor in the eyes of all who saw her". Esther 2:15


By the time Esther appeared before the King, the bible says; "The king loved Esther more than all the women, and she found favor and kindness with him more than all the virgins, so that he set the royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. Esther 2:17.


When God favours you, even your enemies will have no choice but to favour you.

"The LORD caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the Israelites, and they gave the Israelites whatever they asked for. So they stripped the Egyptians of their wealth!" Exodus 12:36.


Favour will make everything about you to be appreciated and you will prosper even in difficult circumstances. Joseph enjoyed the favour of God under difficult circumstances as a slave and while he was in prison, the bible says; "But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison". Genesis 39:21.


It takes the favour of God for anyone to be great in this life. Every successful bible character was favoured in one way or the other.The bible says; " Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man"  Luke 2:52.


When God favour is upon you, even those that do not know you will help you.

May the Lord cause His face to shine upon you and grant you favour before everyone that comes your way in Jesus name. 🙏.

                                                         BEING A DISCIPLE...


At some point in the course of following our Lord Jesus, the disciples of old began to feel discouraged, it was as if there was no gain nor reward for their stewardship.


Then Jesus said to them; "I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and property, along with 'persecution' and in the world to come that person will have eternal life". Mark 10:29-30.


Relying on the above bible verses, one can infer that the prosperity of true disciples of Jesus is guaranteed. However, they will also experience persecution. According to Deitrich Bonhoeffer, a late German Pastor, "When Christ calls a man, He bids him come and die".


Truly, the reality of being a disciple of Jesus is that you will be opened up for persecution which involves being harassed, criticized, attacks, insults, hatred etc. Therefore, permit me to say to you that if a person desires to be a disciple of Jesus, he desires an honourable work.

However, being a disciple of Jesus is an invitation to be persecuted.


The popular saying; "touch not my anointed" in Psalm 105: 15 & 1 Chronicles 16: 22 is in reference to the nation of Israel, when you read the earlier verses you will get the message. Hence, it is not applicable to the life of a disciple of Jesus. As a disciple you should be prepared to receive sticks, insults and much more. That's why Jesus said; " A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you." John 15:20.


People spat at Jesus' face, some struck Him with their fists, while others slapped Him",(Matthew 26:67) yet He did not sin. "When He was insulted, He did not insult in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten but entrusted Himself to the One who judges justly".

1 Peter 2: 23.


Being a disciple of Jesus is about living a Christ-like life, showcasing the glory of God in our words and in deeds. Therefore, a disciple of Jesus must be very tolerant, humble and willing to be corrected, accept insults, must be living wisely and not easily provoked. He or she must be able to exercise self-control even in the face of provocation.


People of God, when we are cursed, we are instructed to bless, ( Luke 6:28) when we are persecuted we are expected to endure it;when we are insulted, we are told to answer back with kind words, for we are no more than this world's garbage; we are the scum of the earth to this very moment! 1 Corinthians 4:12-13.


How you handle hatred and criticism is what will distinguish you as a true disciple of Jesus.

Being a disciple, you must always remember that you are an ambassador of Jesus. It's therefore your responsibility to project the good image of our Lord Jesus. That explains why Jesus said;

"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

John 13:35.


In conclusion, if you are a disciple of Jesus, you must refuse to be distracted, for heaven is our goal. Remain focused on the task at hand. which is "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" Matthew 28:19.


I beseech you therefore beloved disciple, when you are persecuted, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, "Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and He will grant you His blessing." 🙏 1 Peter 3:9.


Please let us continue to pray for all our Christian Leaders, that the name of our good God will continue to be glorified in their lives. 🙏 


When a Christian Leader guff or stumbles, it will affect the image of the body of Christ as a whole.


I also pray that our labour for the spread of the Gospel will not be in vain in the name of Jesus. 🙏

                                                                    PRAY!

You may not be eloquent in putting words together to pray, it doesn't really matter, since the effectiveness of prayer is not in your vocabulary, but God is the one that gives answers to our prayers. “No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven". John 3:27.


God understand all languages. You can bring everything to Him in prayer.

God wants us to pray to Him. That's why He said; "as you have spoken in my ears, so will I do to you". Numbers 14:28.


The book of Jonah is very instructive on the efficacy of prayer. When the wind began to move the ship, "the sailors were frightened, and they all started praying to their gods. Jonah 1:5.


However, while all the panicky situation was going on, Jonah was sleeping, but the ship's captain went to him and said, "How can you sleep at a time like this? Get up and pray to your God! Maybe he will have pity on us and keep us from drowning."  Jonah 1:6.


Eventually, Jonah was thrown in the sea. "Now the LORD had arranged for a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was inside the fish for three days and three nights".Jonah 1:17.


When it became apparent to Jonah that there was no help in sight after he had spent three days in the belly of the fish, "then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from inside the fish". "And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land. Jonah 2:1 & 10.


Self pity does not change any situation in this life, neither will anxiety have any impact either, but prayer changes everything. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God".

Phillippians 4:6.


Hannah knew being sorrowful alone will not get her a child. So "In her bitter distress, Hannah prayed to the LORD". 1 Samuel 1:10. You might have prayed so much on a particular matter without result, I say to you don't stop praying. Before Hannah got Samuel, "Hannah continued praying before the LORD". 1 Samuel 1:12.


You can be sure prayer works. Can the One who shaped the ear not hear?

(Psalm 94:9)


This is the confidence that we have in God, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us. 1 John 5:14. However, if you are yet to give your life to Jesus or you are still living in sin, you might have been praying in vain. For "we know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but He is ready to hear those who worship Him and do His will". John 9:31


Tomorrow might be too late, "seek the LORD while you can find Him. Call on Him now while He is near". Isaiah 55:6. Don't stop praying. The bible says pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17


May the Lord grant all our prayer requests and petitions we have put before Him according to His will in Jesus name. 🙏.

                                                                   A NEW SONG


The kind of songs we sing say a lot about us. Songs speak volumes about who we are and what we are going through in life. In fact, our choice of songs reflect our values and our experiences.

May God bless our women. They sing a lot and the kind of song they sing can be a lead to what they are going through at that particular time.


The songs we sing tell our story. When someone sings a new song, it gives an indication of the kind of mood the person is in and it also confirms the faithfulness of God upon such a person.

Without doubt, there is an untold story behind every new song that we sing. After Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and told her about how she will conceive our Lord Jesus, Mary sang and said;

“My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed"

Luke 1:46-48.


More often than not, a new song signifies good fortune.

David was anointed and declared as the next king of Israel when God sent Samuel to Jesse' s house, but his story remained the same afterwards.

Although David was recommended to king Saul and he was playing harp before the king, but the bible revealed something very disturbing about his story.

One would have thought that David's level will change soon after he got to the palace, unfortunately, the bible says; "but David went back and forth from Saul to feed his father’s sheep at Bethlehem." 1 Samuel 17:15.

In other words, in spite of the fact that David was playing harp before the king,he was still being made to be tending the sheep. He was yet to be liberated!


Little wonder when David came to the battle front to fight Goliath, he saw Eliab ( his brother). Then the bible says; "Eliab’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, “Why have you come down? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? 1 Samuel 17:28


However, that cycle changed after David killed Goliath, his story turned around for good and a new song emerged in Israel. "And the women sang to one another as they celebrated, “Saul has struck down his thousands, and David his ten thousands.” 1 Samuel 18:7.


That heroic incident moved David to a new level for good. His story changed, as he was made a captain over a thousand soldiers and the king also gave him his daughter ( Michal) as wife. 1 Samuel 18


Little wonder David said; "I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:1-3.

I don't know what song you have been singing before now, I speak as a servant of the Most High God, very soon your song will change for good in Jesus name. 🙏


I pray for you and for myself, we will sing a new song. The Almighty God will surprise you and I even in this season and He will put a new song in our mouth just as He did for David.

Don't give up on God, it is not over yet, that thing that has been a burden to you shall be lifted by God. Your story will change for the better and you will sing a new song.

                                                        PREPARE FOR HEAVEN!


Growing up as a young believer, one of the hymns that stood out for me is ; "We speak of the realms of the blest" , the Yoruba version of it says: "A nsoro ile ‘bukun ni". The hymn says wonderful things about heaven, but more emphasis is placed on the chorus which says "But what must it be to be there?"


Without any iota of doubt, heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people! It is a place of perpetual joy, a realm of absolute peace. More importantly, the bible says life in heaven is free of sorrows, cares, fears and pain. Revelation 21:4


From all indications, there are no dull moments in heaven. Little wonder the Psalmist said: The heavens declare the glory of God. Psalm 19:1.


As someone rightly puts it; "Those who know where the treasure lies joyfully abandon everything else to secure it". In other words, securing our place in heaven is the wisest investment anyone should focus on in this life.


That is why Jesus said; "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you". Matthew 6:33

We often speak about heaven from time to time but do we really prepare for heaven? We are more preoccupied with the cares of this world that will not count when the time comes.

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also". Matthew 6:19-21.

In the course of this year alone, the earth has swallowed so many people; young, old, rich, poor, Christians, unbelievers, pastors, Imams and all classes of people. Of all the classes of people that we have in this world only those who prepare themselves will make it to heaven.

Heaven is the real deal for all of us. Like the five wise virgins ( Matthew 25;1-13) , we must be prepared for the Second Coming of Jesus in order to make heaven.


"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

Mark 8:36.


Therefore, the foremost requirement to making it to heaven is that you must give your life to Jesus. Even the thief that was crucified with our Lord Jesus had to know Him before he was granted mercy to make it to paradise. Luke 23:43


“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Without Him no one can make it to heaven. John 14:6.

No one should miss a place that has been prepared for us by Jesus. John 14:3

"Therefore you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him". Matthew 24:44

By the grace of God, I will see you in heaven when the time comes in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                      DIVINE ANNOUNCEMENT

Without any iota of doubt, God created us to showcase His glory. Isaiah 43:7.

To this end, many people are shining for God in their chosen career and fields, while on the contrary, so many people are actually living in obscurity. In other words, the gifts of God upon their lives are yet to be acknowledged where it matters or they are not being put to use yet.


Divine announcement can be defined as a supernatural advertisement of the gifts of God upon our lives. It is about God creating events and circumstances in order to showcase His gifts upon your life. Concerning our Lord Jesus, God made an announcement when He was to begin His Ministry on earth. "A voice came from the cloud, saying, "This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him" (Luke 9:35.). From that moment, signs and wonders began to follow the ministration of Jesus and people began to ask “where did this man get such wisdom and miraculous powers?”. "Isn't this the carpenter's son? Matthew 13:54&55.


People of God, divine announcement is the heavenly approval over the work of your hands. It's what brings about an eye-opening experience for everyone to appreciate what you do.

Divine announcement is God putting the spotlight on you by unleashing your potentials for greatness. It was a divine announcement that brought out David from the bush where he had been hidden.


"The LORD said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king."1 Samuel 16:1


When Samuel demanded for David, the bible says; "Jesse sent for David. He was a healthy, good-looking boy with a sparkle in his eyes. As soon as David came, the LORD told Samuel, "He's the one! Get up and pour the olive oil on his head." 1 Samuel 16:12

From that moment, the hidden greatness in the life of David began to come to the knowledge of the whole world. Elisha was able to fulfill his destiny after a divine announcement was made concerning him to Elijah and Elisha became the successor of Elijah. 1 Kings 19:16.


Divine announcement is what position you or your work to be needed in high places.

Therefore, arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. ( Isaiah 60:1) You might have lived in the hidden for so long, but the LORD will cause His light to shine upon you and His glory shall be seen all over you in Jesus name.🙏


However, when God announces you, be careful not to get distracted, for the aim is to let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16.


Allow the attention that comes on you to be a platform for attracting people to the kingdom of God, so that other people will come to the knowledge of our good God.

May God announce you and showcase your gifts and talents in high places, so you can be a blessing to your generation in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                         WHEN GOD VISITS...


The month of August is generally regarded as the month of visitation. The term ‘August Visitor’ is usually used to describe the visit of a highly dignified person or an unexpected visitor with unusual importance and influence.


The most desired visitation anyone can crave for is the visitation of God. It takes only one visit of God to change the story of anyone. Whoever God visits will never remain the same.

However, the bible makes us to understand that God visits different people for different reasons.


The same God who visited Abraham and Sarah to bless them and confirm the time of the birth of Isaac also visited Sodom to destroy the city. The bible says Abraham saw three men and he invited them into his house to entertain them. Thereafter, one of them said to Abraham;

“I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife shall have a son.”

Genesis 18:10


After the men have declared the blessing to Abraham and Sarah, "then the men rose from there and looked toward Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on the way".

Genesis 18:16.

Soon after, two of the men (Angels) went to Sodom and Gomorrah to destroy the cities.

Genesis 19.


In the same vein, a man called Obed-edom experienced a visitation from God when the Ark of God was brought to his house;

"The Ark of the LORD remained there in Obed-edom’s house for three months, and the LORD blessed Obed-edom and his entire household". 2 Samuel 6:11.

Unfortunately, the same Ark of God had earlier caused the death of a man called Uzzah

2 Samuel 6:3-8


In other words, God's visitation does not necessarily imply good fortune. That's why He said; "I, the LORD, search the minds and test the hearts of people. I treat each of them according to the way they live, according to what they do." Jeremiah 17:10


Although, the bible did not give any indication to why Uzzah died for touching the Ark of God. However, there is no smoke without fire! Sometimes, when calamity befalls a man, many people may feel sorry for him without knowing the evil he has perpetuated.


"Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return"

Galatians 6:7. 


God said to Abraham: "If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake." Genesis 18:26.


Eventually, God only found Lot and his family as righteous people in Sodom.

Let the one who does evil continue to do evil. Let the righteous person continue to do what is right, but the Lord says; "Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done". Revelation 22:12


In a nutshell, when God visits , it is a time of reward. May the visitation of God upon your life brings blessings, healing and breakthrough to you in Jesus name. 🙏

                                               CLAIMING THE PROMISES OF GOD


Without any iota of doubt, the promises of God are sure. The bible testified to this fact when it says; “Not a single one of all the good promises the LORD had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything He had spoken came true."  Joshua 21:45.


As children of God, we are at liberty to apply the unfailing promises of God in the bible for ourselves. "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through Him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God".  2 Corinthians 1:20


In other words, through our relationship with Jesus, we can embrace and pray the promises of God in the bible for our lives and we will see them manifest in our lifetime to the glory of God.

However, it is important to note that majority of the promises of God are conditional.

When God was making promises to King Solomon, He said;

"So if you walk in My ways and keep My statutes and commandments, just as your father David did, I will prolong your days.” 1 Kings 3:14.


Similarly, if you are going to claim the good promises of God for your life, then you should be ready to be totally obedient to God and you can be sure God will remain faithful to His promises.

I claim these promises of God for you and for myself;


You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. 🙏


A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

🙏.


You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.🙏

The LORD will remove from you all sicknesses; and you will enjoy sound health throughout the days of your life.🙏


The LORD your God will set you high above all your enemies, competitors and your contemporaries. You shall fulfill your destiny and the Lord will make you a blessing to your generation and you will not be barren in Jesus name. 🙏


God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change His mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through?

Numbers 23:19.


On the other hand, God has made specific promises concerning many of us and perhaps some of those promises are yet to be fulfilled. Please don't lose hope, for "the Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, Surely, as I have thought and planned, so shall it come to pass, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand" Isaiah 14:24.


I therefore beseech you to continually hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful to bring them to pass. You must continue to claim and remind God in your prayers like David who said; "Remember your promise to me; it is my only hope."

Psalm 119:49.


I want you to know that no promise of God will fail upon you provided you continue to walk in God's ways. Every promise of God has been set for an appointed time and when that time comes nothing will stop it in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                    SUCCESS IS FROM GOD


The determination and the desire to be successful rest inside many of us. However, it is not everyone that put in a great deal of effort that is successful in what they do.

Without doubt hard work pays, but success actually comes from God! When you have the backing of God in what you do, you can be sure you will succeed.

In the book of Joshua, God spoke about good success. ( Joshua 1-8).


In other words, all that glitters is not gold. That's why the bible warns us not to envy those who prosper or those who succeed in their evil ways. Psalm 37:7

Joseph enjoyed the backing of God throughout his life despite working under very difficult circumstances. "The LORD was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did... "

Genesis 39:2.


Similarly, concerning David the bible says; " In everything he did he had great success, because the LORD was with him". 1 Samuel 18:14.


True and good success can only be attained when you align with the call of God for your life.

When Jesus called Simon Peter and Andrew, He said to them; “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men".Matthew 4:19.


Although Peter followed Jesus but he was not willing to let go of his fishing business. On one occasion after Jesus had used Peter's boat to preach to the people, Jesus instructed Peter to launch his net, but Peter replied; "Master, we have toiled all night, and have taken nothing".

Luke 5:5.


On another occasion, Peter with some of the disciples went back to try their luck in the fishing business, but yet again, the bible says Jesus came to the scene and asked them; "Young men, haven't you caught anything?" "Not a thing," they answered. John 21:5.


Brethren, on these two occasions, Jesus instructed Peter to launch his net in the same place where he had tried before. Peter heeded the instructions of Jesus and caught a lot of fishes too much for him and his team to drag.


It goes to show that hard work alone cannot guarantee you success without God having a hand in what you do. That's why the bible says;

"The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the LORD.

Proverbs 21:31.


The same Peter that struggled so much in the fishing business, preached his first sermon and the bible says; "So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added to them".  Acts 2:41.


When you do what God has called you to do, it will come to you effortlessly and you will succeed beyond human understanding.


I pray for you and for myself, the Lord will shine His light upon you and where others struggled you will succeed in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                       IT WILL GET BETTER!


The popular saying is that;  "What doesn't kill you will make you stronger."

Apparently, God uses difficult situations and circumstances to prepare us for greater things.

That's why the bible says: "After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you". 🙏  1 Peter 5:10.


Focussing on the positive side of every difficult situation is very important in our Christian journey. The fact that you and I are alive today is a testament to the notion that, better days are still ahead of us.


Circumstances of life are always subject to change and one of the things that can cause a change is the confession of God’s word. The word of God is capable of giving life to the dead. Dry bones came back to life after the word of God was spoken. ( Ezekiel 37) The word calls into being things which do not exist as though they were. Romans 4:17.


God is capable of doing things that are beyond human comprehension. When the LORD restored the fortunes of Jerusalem, they were like them that dream. Then their mouths were filled with laughter, their tongues with shouts of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” Psalm 126:1-3.


What God did before, He is capable of doing it again. The word of God that I speak to you are spirit and life ,so you are expected to use the word of God to change the situation for the better.

The bible says; "Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ ” Joel 3:10


Therefore, I prophesy into your life, things are getting better, for the Lord is on the throne, things are getting better and so it will be for you and I in Jesus name.🙏

I beseech you to keep looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2.


I pray for you and for myself again: May we never know a better yesterday in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                     YOU WILL NOT BE SHAMED!


"The LORD knows the daily [struggles]of innocent people. Their inheritance will last forever. They will not be put to shame in trying times. Even in times of famine they will be satisfied". 🙏

Psalm 37:18.


Shame can be defined as the painful emotion that is caused by humiliation or any embarrassment that opens up our frailties in the eye of the public.


Ideally, nobody wants his or her dirty linen to be washed in public, we are supposed to cover one another's shame, but the reality of life is that many people out there only want you to eat, but not to be fed.


The Yorubas will say, “Eniyan bi aparo ni omo araye n’fe,” meaning the world loves a person who is like a partridge. The partridge is a poor bird that is feeble and weak by its creation. It has little ability to hunt, gather, protect, or feed itself. Such a person will always experience shame, much more in "difficult times".


However, we serve a God who is interested in covering up or taking away our shame.How did I know this? The very first miracle performed by our Lord Jesus was done to cover the shame of a family.


The bible says there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee and Jesus was there with Mary and the disciples. In the course of the ceremony, Mary went to tell Jesus to inform Him that the people had run out of wine to serve. John 2: 1-4.


Eventually, Jesus instructed the servants to fill empty pots with water and He turned the water to wine. John 2:5-8. Interestingly, our Lord Jesus performed the miracle behind the scene ( Read Matthew 6:1- 4) in order to cover up the shame of that family.


The bible says; When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine, not knowing where it had come from (though, of course, the servants knew), he called the bridegroom over. “A host always serves the best wine first,” he said. “Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best until now!”

John 2:9.


I pray for you and for myself; instead of you being shamed, the Lord will honour you in Jesus name.🙏 Hear me very well children of God; "he who mocks the poor taunts his Maker".

Proverbs 17:5.


In other words, anybody or any situation that belittles or oppresses you is indirectly mocking your God! The good news is that; “for the cause of the oppressed and for the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD. “I will bring safety to him who yearns.” Psalm 12:5.

Although in avoiding shame, there is a place of diligence. "The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor". Proverbs 12:24.


It does not matter what you have gone through before, "fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood". Isaiah 54:4.


Like Mary, it is important to recognise that it is only God that is capable of turning your shame to honour. Mary knew Jesus was capable of rescuing the family from the imminent shame, that was why she told Jesus about the situation.

                                                 IT WILL LEAD TO TESTIMONY!


"Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials".

James 1:2.


Trials and challenges of life are part of the plan of God for us. The bible says the testing of our faith produces perseverance and the essence of our trials is to strengthen us in perseverance so as to make us to be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:3-4.


By the way, our Lord Jesus never promised us an easy life. In fact He said; "Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows". John 16:33.


In other words, saying like; "a life without Christ will be full of crisis"

is not completely true, for a life with Christ is not free of crisis either. Our Lord Jesus was in a boat with the disciples yet there was heavy wind that nearly capsized the boat. Mark 4:36-39.


Everyone of us is being affected one way of the other by the current crisis of covid 19, the only assurance we have in Christ is that whatever crisis that confronts us will not consume us.

I don't know about you, but I believe strongly that what we are going through at this present time cannot be compared to the glory that is going to be revealed to us thereafter.


There can be no testimony without a test. Be it known to you that every test that you are experiencing is the kind that normally comes to people. God keeps His promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, He will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out. 1 Corinthians 10:13.


I want you to be confident of the promises of God which says; For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11


It does not matter what the situation is, do not be troubled or be moved by circumstances, for it will lead to testimony. For me, "I will sing of the steadfast love of the LORD, forever; with my mouth I will make known His faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 89:1.


I say to you once again, do not be troubled by the situation around you, it will lead to your testimony in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                       WALK IN THE TRUTH!


John the Beloved, a disciple of Jesus said; "I have no greater joy than this: to hear that my children are walking in the truth". 3 John 1:4


Permit me to also say to you that I take much delight in seeing young people in this generation who are walking in the light of the Gospel truth.

I mean those who create quality time to meditate on and live the word of God.


Growing up, we used to sing a song that says;

It is a great thing to serve the Lord × 3

Walking in the light of God

Chorus: O walk, walk, walk, walk, walking in the light

O walk, walk, walk, walk, walking in the light

O walk, walk, walk, walk, walking in the light

Walking in the light of God.


That light according to the Psalmist is the word of God; "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path". Psalm 119:105.


Brethren, the evidence of being born again is in living the word of God, which is the truth. That's why Jesus said; "Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth". John 17:17.

Unfortunately, many young people today do not create adequate time to know the word of God. 


We are now witnessing the manifestation of the prophecy made by Apostle Paul when he said; "For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear". 2 Timothy 4:3.


Every word of God proves true, but how much of the truth do we know and apply?

Blessed is the man who finds joy in obeying the Law of the LORD, and studies it day and night. Psalm 1:2


Regrettably, the slogans of this era are words like "my pastor said" "Papa said", "Daddy said", Mummy said" etc.


There is nothing wrong in referencing our spiritual leaders to get directions on issues of life, it is however important that the words of our leaders should have legitimacy in the word of God in order to pass the validity test.

The bible talks about the Berean Christians; They were more open-minded. They listened to the message with great eagerness, and every day they studied the Scriptures to see if what Paul said was really true. Acts 17:11.

Apparently, the approach of young people in this era is different from that of the Berean Christians.

I therefore admonish you to learn from what happened in 1st Kings 13:

Where God sent a "Man of God" from Judah to Bethel to deliver a message. Unfortunately, there was an old prophet in Bethel who did not like the fact that God used a younger man of God from another town to deliver a message to the King in his own town.

Subsequently, he deceived the man of God with his words. Then the man of God succumbed and acted contrary to God's instructions. That man of God died an untimely death due to his foolishness in honouring the words of the old prophet above the word of God.

Brethren, the truth is in Jesus, hence the issue of mentorship should be done as Apostle Paul puts it; "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ".

1 Corinthians 11:1

Many believers are unknowingly living in bondage today. I pray for such people " they will know the truth and the truth will set them free in Jesus name .” John: 8:32

When you know the truth, then you will no longer be tossed back and forth by the craftiness and gimmicks of false prophets who do not really care about your lives but manipulate you and put heavy burden on you for personal gain.

In conclusion, "Like newborn infants, desire the pure milk of the word, so that you may grow up in your salvation". 1 Peter 2:2.

Do not only be the hearer of the word but also be the doer. Speak the truth even when it's not convenient.

If the Son (Jesus) sets you free, you will be free indeed in order to make a difference to your world.

Prayer; "Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name". Psalm 86:11.  So shall it be in Jesus name.

                                                     THE 🍎 OF GOD'S EYE!



Are there not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's care. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. Matthew 10: 29 & 31.


Circumstances of life could make one to feel forsaken. I don't know what your own story is: it might seem as if God is far off. The question on your mind could be; where is God in all of these? The truth is that you are very valuable to God. He cares so much about you.


The phrase "apple of God's eye" is a reference to a person who is very dear or special to God.


The bible says; "Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes". Ephesians 1:4


When Rebecca was pregnant, the LORD said to her; "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger." Genesis 25:23.


People of God, well before Esau and Jacob were born or had done anything good or bad, God had chosen Jacob according to His own purpose. God went further to change Jacob's name to Israel and He blessed him. Genesis 32:28 -29


When Jacob was old he relocated to Egypt with all his 11 sons to meet Joseph and from that time they began to grow in number and became a Nation (Israel) which left Egypt to the promised land. Israel remains the apple of God's eye even unto this very day.


In the same vein, you and I are very special to God. He is mindful of us and everything that concerns us. An American song writer wrote about God's care towards us; 🎼🎹🎤

He knows my name

He knows my every thought

He sees each tear that falls

And He hears me when I call...


Truly, Jesus knows us by our names. He called Apostle Paul (Saul) by name at a time when he was a sinner and testified about him saying; "This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel". Acts 9:15.

You are also precious in God's eyes, for He brought you here for some specific assignments. I don't know what your own assignment (purpose) is, but I plead with you to discover it and work in line with it for fulfilment.


As an apple of God's eye, we enjoy God's divine covering. God keeps us from all evil; He protects our lives and He is the one that keeps our going out and our coming in. However, you cannot live your life in sin and expect that you will continue to enjoy the privileges of being the apple of God's eye.

God made a promise to Eli that his family will always serve Him as priests, but as a result of the sins of Eli's sons and the indifferent attitude of Eli to correct and train his children in God's way, God said to Eli; "Now I tell you that I cannot do this any longer! I honor anyone who honors me, but I put a curse on anyone who hates me". 1 Sam 2:30

In other words, being the apple of God's eye is very dependent on your continuous obedience to God's words. Therefore, as the elect and the apple of God's eye, holy and beloved, I beseech you not to take it for granted, rather you should clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and exhibit a lot of patience and perseverance.

In conclusion, our Lord Jesus said; "You did not choose me, but I chose you.I appointed you to go and produce fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, He will give you". John 15:16

Put simply, if you are winning souls, you are an apple of God's eye. He chose you and He is willing to do all that you request from Him, provided you ask through our Lord Jesus.

The choice is yours. Commit your time and resources to soul winning and God will ensure your wellbeing and protection.


Prayer; Lord Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings forever in Jesus name 🙏.

                                                          ALL SOULS MATTER!



All souls matter to God, whether they are men, women, blacks, whites, Asians, Hispanics, Indians, etc. That's why the bible says;

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". John 3:16.


Without any iota of doubt, our Lord Jesus is coming back for the Church. The bible says;

"Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her, to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless". Ephesians 5:25-27.

Relying on the above bible verses, it is clear that Jesus is not coming back for the church building, rather He is coming for Souls who constitute the Church.


In other words, the Church that our Lord Jesus is coming back to receive does not have walls. It is not that physical building, but rather you and I.


Apostle Paul in his speech to the church leaders in Ephesus said;

"Look after yourselves and everyone the Holy Spirit has placed in your care. Be like shepherds to God's church. It is the flock He bought with the blood of His own Son". Acts 20:28

Consequently, every leader, especially a Christian leader, needs to pay more attention to the life and wellbeing of the people they oversee. Ezekiel 34:2


Again reports have it that there has been immense pressure on the Government to open religious institutions. If you ask me, opening Churches now for large gatherings could be suicidal! It is obviously that it's still not practicable and safe for our children.


Meanwhile, irrespective of the colour of skin or status, every life matters to God. God said;

"Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine".

Ezekiel 18:4.


In the same vein, all souls should matter to every leader. Justice must not only be done but it must be seen to have been done!


Raping and killing of Vera Uwaila Omozuwa in Benin Nigeria in the Church building is highly condemned. The gruesome killing of George Floyd in Minnesota, America by the police and the subsequent brutality of the Police and Military forces on peaceful protesters is equally repugnant.


Permit me to use the words of Andrew Cuomo; Governor of New York, "I stand with the protesters! You cannot display an impression that you love the Church of God and at the same time exhibit detestable indifference to the obvious killing of a member of the Church.


Someone once said: *Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are. That informs the reason people are on the street for the 22year old Uwa in Benin as well as the continuous outrage and protest across America for George Floyd. Justice must prevail in those matters.


The bible says; "He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the innocent are both alike an abomination to the LORD".  Proverbs 17:15.


There are too many injustices in our societies today as a result of abuse of power and position.Evil doers are perpetuating evil with impunity. Unfortunately, such people are in the Church today.

Apostle Paul spoke about them; "I know that after I leave, fierce wolves will come among you, and they will not spare the flock".  Acts 20:29


Children of God, occult, witchcraft, sorcerers are already here among us.Most unfortunately, they are even deceiving the very elect. Matthew 24:24.


Brothers and Sisters; I beseech you in the name of Jesus that you; *"Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them". Ephesians 5:11


In conclusion, Jesus is coming back but what good is it for someone to gain the whole world, attend several church services and yet miss heaven?


Abstain from all appearances of evil and live with the consciousness of end times. May the Lord finds us rapturable in Jesus name 🙏

                                                      WHEN THE DUST SETTLES...


In the journey of life, we’re sometimes faced with unprecedented challenges that make us have to rethink about the way we have lived, it questions the effectiveness of the laws and doctrines that we have been subjected to, perhaps make us to exercise doubts about our faith and everything we have been made to believe.


Without mincing words, the outbreak of covid 19 took the world by surprise. Consequently, the lockdown opened up many shortcomings and hypocrisy of our political, social and religious institutions.


However, Besides the mercy of God, there is nothing else in life that has a beginning without an end. By the grace of God, the dust of covid 19 is gradually settling. Governments across the world are easing up the social, religious and economic space for people to return to their "normal life". Realistically, the way forward would be different from what used to be before the lockdown.


More than 2000 years ago, the disciples of John the Baptist came to our Lord Jesus, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?”  Matthew 9:14.

Then Jesus answered them by saying, "How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.

Matthew 9:15.

In other words, the disciples of Jesus took things for granted because Jesus was still with them, the moment He ascended to heaven they realized they will have to do things differently.

In the same vein, we have taken so many things for granted. Unfortunately, most of the things we prioritized were totally irrelevant during the lockdown.

Going forward, we need to come to terms with the spiritual implications of what is happening now.


God said;  "Behold, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it?

Isaiah 43:19.


People of God, when the dust settles, you will have to close some doors in your life,not because of ego, pride, naivety, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because those doors may no longer lead you somewhere.


Obviously, there has been a paradigm shift in the Spiritual realm which will require some fundamental change of approach and what we prioritized.


"Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is edifying". 1 Corinthians 10:23.

In other words, when the dust settles, we should be focusing more on things that are beneficial and edifying.


When the dust settles, every God fearing leader will have to bury their pride by doing what is necessary for the people and focusing more on the will of God.


"Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need". Matthew 6:33.

When the dust settles, the way we relate with one another should change for the better. Covid 19, does not recognize race, religion, colour, creed, wealth,title, language or borders before striking. It totally removed the barrier of segregation between rich and poor.


Now I know why Apostle Paul said;  "In this new life,it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave or free. Christ is all that matters, and He lives in all of us.".  Colossians 3:11,

When the dust settles, everything will become clearer! God will be unveiling people that have been hidden before now.


"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.  Acts 2:17.

When the dust settles,there will be more revelation of the evil,lies and cover ups that the wicked were involved in at the expense of the life of innocent people.


When the dust settles, your testimony shall be that, "I have counted all my family members, friends and well wishers; not one of us is missing!" So shall it be in Jesus name. 🙏

                                             GOD IS WORKING BEHIND THE SCENE!


The bible says; "God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him." Phillippians 2:13


Obviously, most aspects of our lives have been affected by the outbreak of covid 19. Many people have not done any meaningful work in the last 2-3 months due to the lockdown, but our God is working.


Although, if one relies solely on Genesis 2:2, the bible says; "On the seventh day God had finished His work of creation, so He rested from all His work. Many centuries after the creation. our Lord Jesus said; "My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I too am working."

John 5:17


In other words, God only rested after creation. *He is still working even now. The good news is that He is actually working because of you and I. How did I know?


God called Abraham and said; "Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you." Genesis 22:2.


Abraham obeyed God,he took wood,fire, knife and told Isaac to follow him to make sacrifice. While they were going Isaac said; Father, “Behold the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” Genesis 22:7.

 

Abraham answered him; "God Himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son."

Genesis 22:8.


Eventually, it proved that God was working behind the scene for Abraham. As Abraham was about to kill Isaac God provided a ram as replacement.


The adverse effect of covid 19 is that many people have lost their jobs and the lockdown does not allow for many options. However, our God is not on lockdown, neither is He redundant. He is still working on our behalf.


"Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep". Psalm 121:4:

If God can open our eyes to see arrows, attacks and accidents He averts for us, we will be amazed about how much God is doing behind the scene for our sakes.


While Joseph was going through his difficult trials and challenges, God was actually working behind the scene for him. For every point of Joseph's trials, God made a way of escape.

Apparently,


“The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19.

In other words, you cannot be living in sin and expect God to be working on your behalf.

Romans 6:1.


There are 2 fundamentals that put the machinery of God in place to work for you even as a believer. The very first one is prayer. God said; call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.”  Psalm 50:15.


The Israelites were contended with doing hard labour in Egypt for many years, until they began to cry to God for help. Unknown to them and behind the scene,God was working for them.


God said; “I have certainly seen the oppression of my people in Egypt.I have heard their cries of distress because of their harsh slave drivers. Yes,I am aware of their suffering". Exodus 3:7.


We all know the rest of the story. God used Moses to rescue the Israelites. That same God that worked behind the scene for the Israelites will certainly work for your sake if only you can pray.


Elijah,a man subject to like passion as we are prayed on Mount Carmel by putting his face between his knees and God caused the clouds to gather openly for Elijah's servant to see and soon after it rained heavily according to the words of Elijah. 1 Kings 18:42-45


Secondly, when you praise God, He works on your behalf. The story of Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20 is very instructive about the power of praise.


Hear me, God is working on your behalf and help is on the way for you! It will manifest in a short while in Jesus name🙏


I pray God will equip you with everything good to do His will,working in us what is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be all glory forever and ever.🙏

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do". Ephesians 2:10


Apparently, many of us are embodiment of God's grace, created to showcase the glory of God on earth. For such a time as this,the world needs children of God to manifest their potentials and take up their rightful positions in the world's affairs.


Jesus said; "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden". Matthew 5:14

People like; Deborah, David,Gideon, Joseph, Mary Magdalene and many others who knew the Lord came to prominence during seemingly difficult circumstances.


In the same vein, God has prepared you for specific assignments for such a time as this. As citizens of heaven, our major assignment is to project the name of our Lord Jesus and consciously win Souls for the kingdom of God. Mark 16:15-16


Whether it is in governance, sports, medical science, judiciary, business, economy, work of Ministry etc, it is time to arise and shine, for the glory of the Lord has come upon us.


Although we live in a highly corrupt system, where uprightness has become unpopular. Notwithstanding,it is still very possible to live with integrity. Your character must reflect the nine fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

gentleness and self control . Galatians 5:22-23.


Consequently, for such a time as this, "whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom." Ecclesiastes 9:10


Brethren, It is time for children of God to dominate in all areas of life, breaking barriers and limitations. Grace and favour are working for us. The lord is definitely on our side and there is no stopping us.

Therefore, every work of darkness that is hindering the manifestation of the word of God upon your life is hereby destroyed in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                       FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS..


Esther, a Jewish lady became queen in a foreign land at a time when Haman; the wicked chief of staff wanted to destroy the Jews.Then, Mordecai ( Esther's uncle) sent her a message; "Who knows, perhaps you have come to your royal position for such a time as this."

Esther 4:14


Like Esther, many people are occupying high positions today because God wants them to use their influence or offices to effect certain things for the kingdom of God.


To this end, this message is a clarion call for Christians who occupy influential positions in our country and all over the world.


The bible says;

"The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it".

Genesis 2:15.


Permit me to say to you that God put you in that position or blesses you with an abundance of wealth for such a time as this, in order that you change the narratives and be a blessing to His people.


Have you ever asked yourself questions like- "why am I occupying this position at such a time as this?", Why is God blessing me even in this lockdown situation?, you may ask further; what am I expected to do?


Other people might be using highly placed positions to enrich themselves. As a Christian you are not supposed to be like them. You are part of a chosen generation, a peculiar people. You are in that position to proclaim the excellencies of God who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.


Joseph knew exactly why he was made the Prime Minister in Egypt at a time when his people were experiencing severe famine. Joseph said to his brothers;

"God sent me ahead of you to keep you alive on the earth, and to save you all in a magnificent way." Genesis 45:7.


Joseph did not use his position to enrich himself. His brothers came to Egypt at the 2nd year of the 7 year famine. In other words, Joseph fed all the Seventy Israelites that followed Jacob to Egypt continuously for a period of 5years.  Genesis 45:5-7


No position is permanent in life. Therefore, in such a time as this when some of the leaders have failed in their obligations, God is preparing a David to replace every erring Saul.

Without doubt, these are tough and unusual times which requires unusual responses. There is no place for lukewarmness.


In such a time as this, Jesus says; the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him". John 4:23.


In such a time as this when sins have taken hold of people, the bible says; "the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience", Colossians 3:6.


Consequently, for such a time as this, you should be careful how you live. Don't live like ignorant people, but like wise people. Make good use of every opportunity you have, because these are evil days. Ephesians 5:15-16.

Brothers and Sisters, for such a time as this, your faith in God shall be put to test; Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:Yet you are expected to rejoice in the LORD and joy in the God of your salvation.

Habakkuk 3:17-18.


In such a time as this, Jesus said; "Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41

For such a time as this, The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40;8. 

We are expected to focus on Jesus even as we look beyond the difficulties and limitations.

Hebrews 12:2,


Finally, for such a time as this when the world and everything in it that people desire is passing away; the bible says but those who do the will of God will live forever. 1 John 2:17.

Give your life to Jesus now!

                                                 THE DWELLING PLACE OF GOD


The Psalmist said; "I love the temple where you live, and where your glory shines.

Psalm 26:8.


Like the Psalmist, I am always glad whenever it's time to go to the house of the LORD! (Psalm 122:1). I love church service and I have missed it so much. We were all born into the practise of going to church and most of us did not know any other way of gathering to worship God until now.


People of God, in the midst of a widespread resistance against the Government because of the restrictions of gathering at places of worship to 20 people, the word of the Lord came to me and by the leading of the Holy Spirit on the 20th of March 2020, I released a message titled; "Don't Be Misled".

The message was aimed at using the Scriptures and verifiable facts of the contagious effect of covid19 to sensitize the people of God of the necessity to stay home and adhere to the lockdown measures.


After all,the bible says;  "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,". 2 Timothy 3:16.

Little did I know that the message affected the ego of some people as I received two strong worded responses of people who questioned my audacity to share the message.


Looking back now, we have spent 7 Sundays worshipping God in our homes, yet God has been faithful. The Church doors might have been shot across the world,however "the steadfast love of the LORD has not ceased; His mercies have never come to an end,they are new every morning.."

Lamentations 3:22- 23


The question we should ask is: "where then is the dwelling place of God?"


Apostle Paul while speaking to the Greeks in Athens said;


"For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship,I found also an Altar with this inscription: ‘To the unknown God.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you.This God made the world and everything in it. He is Lord of heaven and earth, and He doesn't live in temples built by human hands". Acts 17:23-24.


In other words, our God cannot not be boxed up in a place. He is actually not far from each one of us, For in Him we live and move and have our being.

The omnipresence nature of God is ever guaranteed. He is everywhere.


"Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you build me a temple as good as that?’ asks the LORD. ‘Could you build me such a resting place?" Acts 7:49

We should not think that the Divine Being (God) is like gold, silver, stone or an image formed by man’s skill or imagination. He is called Emmanuel, which means; God with us.

Matthew 1:23.


Brothers and Sisters, "Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst?" 1 Corinthians 3:16.

According to a report done in 2019,two-thirds of Chinese Christians attend home churches due to the strict regulations on religious activities.


They do not enjoy the luxury of large gathering that we have in Africa, America and in Europe, yet they are not disconnected from God.


Apparently, our God lives in the heart of people who have accepted Him. Jesus said;

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me". Revelation 3:20.

Therefore, we should not be ignorant of the fact that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19.


However, God does not dwell in a temple (body) where sin reigns supreme.I urge you brothers and sisters to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is your true and proper worship.


Meanwhile, it is not over yet! The virus is still very much around,please avoid large gatherings to minimise the spread. This is not an attack against the Church. Be responsible to save lives.

May God see us through in Jesus name.🙏

                                                         THE RACE BEFORE US!


"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God". Hebrews 12:1& 2


People of God, the above bible verses made us to understand that there is a race set before us.

Although all the sporting activities in the world including races have been cancelled due to covid-19, but the "Heavenly race" has not be cancelled or suspended.

The race, I mean the Heavenly race which does not require any athletic track is still very much on despite the lockdown.


Unfortunately, there are distractions in this world that could make us lose focus in running this race.


The bible talks about cares of this world; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life ( 1 John 2:16) which are the distractions we need to be wary of in order to run with focus.

Note that, you cannot run this Heavenly race effectively without the knowledge of the word of God.


In other words, the manual or the book containing the instructions for the Heavenly race is the Holy Bible.


Obviously, the Heavenly race is not an easy race by any means, unlike conventional athletic races, the Heavenly race is not for the swift, neither is it about how one starts the race.

Consistency is the watchword for the Heavenly race. It is full of ups and downs, but enduring it to the finish line in accordance with the words of God is crucial.


That's why Jesus says; "But the one who endures to the end will be saved".

Matthew 24:13.


Mind you, not everyone that starts the race is able to run it well to the finish line.

Some will stop running when they are tired, while some people along the line will gradually start running the race off course, because of the influence of the people they are running with, a mistake that will eventually disqualify them at the end.


Therefore, beware of the company that you keep! " A sheep that associate with a dog will end up eating poo"   Do not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals."

1 Corinthians 15:33.


Some people will fall as a result of deliberate trampling done by people who are not interested in making it to heaven but are only out running in order to prevent a focussed person from making it to the end.


Remember, the thief comes only to steal, kill and to destroy. John 10:10.

Brothers and Sisters, be informed that this Heavenly race is not a competition, it is simply an individual race! No one can run your race for you.Your pastor cannot run for you,neither can you run it for your spouse or children. It is neither a relay race, where you run as a team. Everyone has his or her destiny in her own hands and it is purely your responsibility to run it from start to finish.


However, you cannot run this race without accepting Jesus into your life. You must run the race with the mindset that your life (eternal life) depends on it.

Therefore, you must "work out your salvation with fear and trembling"  Phillippians 2:12.

Please, run away from sins for sin is a reproach ( Proverbs14:34.)and abstain from every appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:22


It is important to note that an end will come to everyone's Heavenly race on the day one dies or on the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus, whichever comes first.


Therefore, stay focused on your own race using the bible and do not copy another person's style of running for we are not all going to the same place. Continue to be watchful and remain prayerful even as the day approaches.


May you and I obtain the grace to run according to the rules and finish strong in Jesus mighty name. 🙏

                                   ON THE 26th OF APRIL 2020


                                                  GOD IN THE LOCKDOWN


The Psalmist wrote;


"LORD, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.You see me, whether I am working or resting; you know all my actions. Even before a word is on my tongue, you know all about it, LORD".

Psalm 139: 1-4.


People of God, our God is everywhere and He knows every situation we go through. The popular saying that; "every disappointment is a blessing in disguise" is very true indeed.


The bible records that; Joseph’s master took him and put him into the prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined. But the LORD was with Joseph and extended kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the chief jailer. Genesis 39:20-21.

In the midst of what seemed like a setback or disappointment for Joseph, the bible says; " "But the LORD was with Joseph".


I am pretty sure, God is also using this lockdown situation to orchestrate pleasant surprises in blessing some people beyond their wildest dreams. How did I know this?


The bible says; for we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

In other words, despite the fact that all of us are confined to the walls of our homes, God is still working out things for the good of His children, just like he promoted Joseph from being a prisoner to Prime Minister.


An ancient Yoruba adage says;

Even if they are pounding yam in a leaf and cooking soup in a nutshell, those that will get filled up will certainly do.


Apparently, some people are experiencing an unprecedented blessing in this season. 🤔

God allowed Joseph to be put in prison ( lockdown) for an offence he did not commit because God had planned his lifting in that same prison.


We all know the story of Joseph very well. Despite being in the prison, Joseph was highly favoured and his promotion to being made the Prime Minister of Egypt began in the lockdown experience of prison.


In the same vein, in spite of the hardship that this lockdown has brought to many homes, some people's destinies are being fulfilled in this time and season.


Hear me people of God, I don't know about you, but for me I have strong feelings that this lockdown is significant for a great turnaround for me and my family. Very soon, it shall manifest in Jesus name.🙏


I pray for you that the God who remembered Joseph in the prison lockdown will use this lockdown to shower His blessing upon you and elevate you beyond your imaginations in Jesus Mighty name. 🙏

In spite of the lockdown and the spread of Covid 19 across the globe,there is hope for us in Christ Jesus.


Although, Winston Churchill,former British Prime Minister said;

"There is no worse mistake in public leadership than to hold out false hope soon to be swept away".


People of God, the message of hope that I preach is anchored in the word of God which cannot fail. *"The grass withers and the flowers fade,but the word of our God stands forever".

Isaiah 40:8.


Surely,there is a future that awaits you and I after this lockdown,our assignment on earth is not over yet.Like a song writer wrote;🎼

God sent His Son,they called Him Jesus,

He came to love, heal and forgive

He lived and died to buy my pardon

An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives

Because He lives I can face tomorrow

Because He lives all fear is gone

Because I know He holds the future

And life is worth the living just because He lives.


"Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;they will run and not grow weary,they will walk and not be faint".  Isaiah 40:31.

Life is not for the faint of heart, " for God has not given us a spirit of fear,but of power and of love and of a sound mind". 1 Timothy 1:7

Therefore,we are to make best use of the free period at our disposal to renew our strength and become more impactful in our chosen fields for God and humanity.


As we await the blessed hope and glorious appearance of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ (Titus 2:13), I beseech you that you, "rejoice in hope,be patient in tribulation and be constant in prayer". Romans 12:12

I pray our good God will sustain us through this time,according to His word and He will not allow our hope to be dashed in Jesus name.🙏

                                            RELEASED ON THE 15th OF APRIL 2020


                                                         CALL TO REPENTANCE


After the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, He reappeared to the disciples and reminded them that;"Repentance for the forgiveness of sins must be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem".  Luke 24:47


In other words, the message of the post resurrection season that we are now is centred on repentance.


Permit me to use the words of a German Church Leader: Dieter F. Uchtdorf who said:

"The heavens will not be filled with those who never made mistakes but with those who recognized that they were off course and who corrected their ways to get back in the light of gospel truth".


People of God, the lockdown experience has definitely opened our eyes to our misplaced priorities. One major lesson for us in the Christendom is that we have realized that the most valuable asset in the kingdom of God is not the Church building,title, wealth, houses, position,

,clothing, jewellery, but rather it is the life of a Soul.


We have hitherto cared so much about our religious activities. Pride, hypocrisy, self aggrandisement, men-pleasing, ego, etc have all dictated our ways of life.We have spent time, money and energy on building beautify Church buildings and we have neglected the church(people) who fill those temples while God has been saying *No man cares for my Souls*


Jesus told us there is more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away! Luke 15:7


It is high time we reset our priorities and get it right! We are called to build up treasures in heaven and not on earth. Matthew 6:19-21


Going forward, let us use the lockdown experience to have a sober reflection of our religious activities vis a vis the impact(s) on Souls, as we make necessary adjustments. It is imperative we dedicate more to things that have *eternal value and consequences*.


Therefore, any work of Ministry that does not focus on Souls, call people to repentance and point attention of everyone to the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus is certainly an exercise in futility.  Vanity of vanities,all is vanity!😩


Do not be deceived,God has not lowered His standard; Jesus said; "For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.  Matthew 5:20.


This call to repentance is directed to everyone of us. If we claim we have no sin,we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.If we confess our sins,God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9.


" Apparently,we have despised God's kindness, we have taken for granted His mercies, restraint and perhaps His patience towards us,not recognizing that God's kindness is intended to lead us to repentance?"


"In the past God overlooked such ignorance,but now He commands all people everywhere to repent." Acts 17:30.


Hear me children of God; "this is what the LORD GOD,the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest you will be saved;"  Isaiah 30:15.


We cannot continue to live in denial or in ignorance of the Second Coming of Jesus.

We are to pursue peace as well as holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

The bible records that on; "Saturday evening,when the Sabbath ended, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Salome went out and purchased burial spices so they could anoint Jesus’ body.Very early on Sunday morning, just at sunrise, they went to the tomb.On the way they were asking each other, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?” Mark 16:1-3.


People of God, on that Saturday preceding the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, there was anxiety among the three women about how the stone at the tomb of Jesus will be rolled away.


In this same vein, the whole world is currently burdened with the task of finding a cure or an end to COVID-19.


In spite of their worries, the women pressed on "But when they looked up, they saw that the stone,which was very large, had been rolled away." 

Mark 16:4

      

Halleluyah!!!


The good news for us as we celebrate Easter in our homes is that the same God that rolled away that large stone is still on the throne.He will roll away the stone of COVID-19 and everything that is holding us down shall give way in Jesus name.🙏


After the Israelites passed through river Jordan on dry ground,God said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the shame of your slavery in Egypt.”

Joshua 5:9


I don't know who this message is meant for or what you want God to roll away in your own life, it could be pain, shame,sorrow, failure,lack,

sicknesses, stagnation, delay,poverty, disappointment, generational curse etc,the power behind the resurrection will roll them all away in Jesus name. 🙏


Remember,it is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. 

Galatians 5:1


Just like the women did not know how the large stone was rolled away, you too will soon discover those issues are no more in your life in Jesus name. 🙏.

                                                   WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE?


Jesus said;*"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".*

John 14:6.


People of God, amidst all the issues generated by the outbreak of COVID-19 and the 5G theory circulating in the media,we should be careful not to be distracted.


An ancient adage says *"when you are crying you should be able to see".*

In other words, do not allow ignorance, your affiliation, loyalty, your denomination or your emotions to override your knowledge of the Truth.


Soldiers come and go, presidents rule and leave office, prophets are not infallible either, but

*"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever".* Hebrews 13:8


What I mean is this: some of you say, "I stand with "Pastor C"; another, "I support Pastor P." others, "I am with Pastor S, yet some say; "I want advancement in technology"; still another, "I follow JESUS."


*Has Christ been divided into factions? Was Pastor..... crucified for you? Were any of you baptized in the name of Pastor.....? Of course not!* 1 Corinthians 1:13


The bible is clear on such issues:

*"Avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless".* Titus 3:9


I therefore appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, in order not to put the name of our good God in mud.


*"I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken".* Matthew 12:36


I don't know about you, I have high regard for "Men of God", I also respect scientists, but my allegiance is to my Lord Jesus.

                                   GOD HUMBLES THE WORLD!

The bible says;

"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom".

Proverbs 11:2.


People of God, recent events have proven that pride often leads to shame and disgrace. Despite numerous warnings,it was the most reprehensible sight to see videos of some religious people being flogged out of their places of worship.


Now, I have good understanding of the real meaning of the saying;

"Some people have added insanity to religion".


Personally, I felt very ashamed that it is in my generation that the event of John 2:15 was replicated. At that time as recorded, Jesus made a whip and drove out people involved in buying and selling out of the temple.

The good thing to take away from the aftermath of coronavirus is that this situation has really humbled everyone of us. 😣.


Before the outbreak of this pandemic, the media was often filled with antics, when some political leaders exhibited ego while attacking each other and creating a very tense environment for innocent citizens and their communities at large. They have suddenly gone quiet lately.


Obviously, they have been humbled! It does makes sense why Jesus said

"For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” Luke 14:11.


One of the most popular bible verses for many people doing the work of God is Amos 3:7 which says:  "Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets".


Events of recent times have now reinforced the necessity to always balance Scriptures "For we know in part and we prophesy in part".1 Corinthians 13:9


In fact, the words of king Nebuchadnezar about God now resonate so much. He said;

"All the people of the earth are nothing compared to Him. He does as He pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop Him or say to Him, ‘What do you mean by doing these things?’ Daniel 4:35.


Brethren, I remember vividly the very last Church gathering I attended before the lockdown, where the great Man of God from Ibadan whom I have utmost regard for was in Abuja to bless his children and he spoke about how his calendar for a year is usually filled up and sealed at the beginning of every year.


I also marveled and felt very humbled Indeed at the manner in which a highly revered monthly Church Service that we usually gather millions of people across the world was being restricted and done in a living room with less than 10 people physically present.

Permit me to use this medium to appreciate the exemplary leadership role played by our beloved Pastor E. A Adeboye. The way RCCG from the onset respected and aligned with the directives of the federal and some states Governments in Nigeria is highly commendable.


We cannot overemphasize the significance of all the televised Services of RCCG, starting from that of the 22nd of March 2020 at the National Headquarters in Lagos in which only about 10-15 people gathered and the subsequent online services thereafter.


Apparently,those acts of leadership are averting untimely deaths, protecting the remaining sanctity of the Church and also instilling it in us that, in spite of everything our God is good!

It takes a humble heart for any leader to swiftly adjust to the realities of what is before the world at this time.


Some of us who often use social media platforms to do the work of God have consistently suffered insults and spiteful attacks. Fortunately, social media now seems to be the only way to spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in the prevailing circumstance. Everyone is now complying in order to stay relevant. 🤨


Being a sport loving man, particularly a football and tennis fan, I couldn't believe initially how some matches were being played in an empty stadium, but the whole thing dawned on me when eventually, major football leagues and other sport events across the world were suspended.


Then came the cancellation of Olympics, which is the greatest sport event in the world; an event that the organizers usually fix and open bids for many years ahead of time without any thought of it not holding as slated.


Many of us were used to making numerous plans ahead of time as if we dictate times and season, but now we know it is not about us but rather about God.

People of God, this situation is very humbling indeed! I tremble before God 🙇🏽‍♀️and fear Him who is able to do so much more than all we ask or imagine.


Who can be compared to Him or who can question or query Him? Obviously no one. God is asking everyone of us, especially all the self acclaimed super power of this world that;  "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand". Job 38:4


In the midst of the realities we are confronted with, I kept asking “Who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor?”

Romans 11:34.


While in my humbling state, God spoke and said; "All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the LORD. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word". Isaiah 66:2.


Apparently, God is using this situation to humble us. This is the time to return to God. Humility is key at this time. God says; " if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14.


Finally,let all of us be of one mind. Sympathize with and love one another as brothers and sisters. Above all, let us be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.

                                                         LIVING FOR JESUS

People of God, one of the most remarkable bible passages in the new testament is when our Lord Jesus reappeared to Simon Peter and some of the disciples who went back fishing. John 21: 1-25.

Jesus said to Peter 3 times;"Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." John 21:15-17.


Invariably, Jesus was instructing Simon Peter to live for Him; by feeding people with the word of God and perhaps food when the need arises. No matter how bad a situation might seem, there will be something good about it.

According to Joel Osteen; "Difficult times don't come your way just so you can survive them,God uses these times in your life to form and refine you.


In the course of this *lockdown* situation the Holy Spirit reiterated it to me to tell His people about the opportunity at our disposal now to win Souls for God.


*Hear me people of God, unprecedented times like these avail us a great and effectual door to do the work of God in the manner He has called us to do it.*


The parable of 'good Samaritan' as recorded in Luke 10: 30- 36 seem very relevant now. I believe strongly that Jesus told us the parable because of a time like this.

Please take time to study the passage again.


Some of us might be able to stop work and stay home for weeks without starving but the situation is different with others,those artisans, mechanics, vulcanizers, welders etc, most of whom live by the day. In a lockdown situation,they will starve and probably turn to criminal activities for survival.


"Therefore, as we have opportunity,let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers" Galatians 6:10.


I love the first part of the above bible verse; "Let us do good to all"; Muslims, atheists, black, white,young,old without any form of discrimination.


Ideally, when the world is exhibiting high level of disobedience, ignorance, hatred,greed and insensitivity especially in a difficult period as we are now, the Church should be the one to change the narratives and become a "Sign Post" for directing others.


The question that comes to me lately is that

what will Jesus do in the circumstance that we find ourselves now?

Jesus gave us a hint of what He would do in this situation;


"Then Jesus called His disciples and told them, “I feel sorry for these people.They have been here with me for three days, and they have nothing left to eat.I don’t want to send them away hungry, or they will faint along the way.” Matthew 15:32.


Christians,let us feel sorry for that mechanic, plumber, AC technicians, that vulcanizer, electrician, painter,gardener, all those people who only live by the day,they need you and I at this critical time. Share your food stuff with them, send them money,then encourage them with the word of God and pray for them.


Let us do our individual bits and every serious Church denomination founded upon the word of God should concentrate on giving back to the people rather than demanding at this critical time when many cannot survive on their own.


The Church should turn to the Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Susanna of this generation or that boy with five barley loaves and two fishes who gave willingly and Jesus fed thousands of people and yet there were left overs.


Former Governor of Alabama, Bob Riley said; "Hard times don't create heroes, it is during the hard times when the 'hero' within us is revealed".

Therefore,rise up Brothers and Sisters,wake up Church,let us stand up and be counted.Be the heroes at this time by living for Jesus.


"For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God"

Romans 8:19

By the time all of these are over, non of us shall be missing out in Jesus name. 🙏

                                            WHILE YOU STAY AT HOME...


God said;  "My people will live in safety, quietly at home. They will be at rest".

Isaiah 32:18.

Children of God, even as many of us have now come to terms with the reality of COVID-19 and the compulsory stay- at- home situation, it is imperative that some of us who are saddled with responsibility of praying and ministry of the word of God (Acts 6:4) continue to do so from the comfort of our homes in order to keep everyone going at this critical time.


Many people have been brainwashed to believe that certain doctrines are sacrosanct and unchangeable, forgetting that one of the names of the Almighty God is; 'Unchangeable Changer' meaning,the God that does not change (Hebrews 13:8) but is capable of changing anything!


However, the events of the last few weeks across the globe have proven that no situation or tradition is permanent. This current predicament has put everyone of us on same level and condition. It does not matter where you live, neither does it count if you are white, black, rich, poor, young or old; everyone is affected.


Before now some people will say, "I am allowed to do anything." Yes; but not everything is good for you. I could say that I am allowed to do anything, but I am not going to let anything make me its slave. 1 Corinthians 10:23.

I say this to you with all humility in me, but with a deep sense of obligation placed on me by my Lord Jesus; that, No institution or any social gathering nor a religious service is worth the life of a single Soul.


I therefore, beseech you to always listen to advice and accept instructions, that you may gain wisdom in the future. Proverbs 19:20.

Obviously, by the time the whole thing is over, we would all have learnt a lot and be ready to make necessary adjustments where necessary.


Meanwhile, let us yield ourselves to prayers as we are encouraging one another. In the meantime, we need to continue to stay at home in order to make the work easier for those essential workers, particularly people who are in the health care sector. The Lord will continue to be their strength in Jesus name. 🙏


We all owe them our cooperation and prayers, even as they put their lives on the line for the safety of all of us.


I pray for you and for myself that, may the LORD bless you and protect you. The LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the LORD lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace in Jesus name. 🙏

                                             DON'T BE MISLED!


When God was about to inflict the plague in the land of Egypt He told Moses and Aaron;

"The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt".

Exodus 12:13.


God instructed the Israelites to use the blood of a lamb to mark the lintel of their homes and *stay in their houses* while the plague is being inflicted on the land of Egypt.

Likewise, the recent outbreak and spread of coronavirus has compelled Governments across the world to make desperate measures to mitigate the effects of the virus on the people.


We are all expected to heed those instructions and be law abiding wherever we live. After all the bible says, "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God".

Romans 13:1


It is however disturbing to hear that some Church leaders are still agitating for a noncompliance of their church members to the general instruction of stay at home.

Truly; the blood of Jesus is capable of preventing any plague just like the blood of the lamb did for the Israelites in Egypt. Exodus 12


However, don't be misled! " wisdom is profitable to direct";  Ecclesiastes 10:10.

Many people including Christians have died untimely death lately due to their foolishness and because they allowed themselves to be misled.


According to reports,a Church in South Korea aggravated the spread of coronavirus when they shared salt water solution to members, unfortunately many died due to transmission from the shared water. The founder of the Church, Lee Man-hee has since apologized .

According to medical experts, there is no known cure to the virus for now but avoiding large gathering will reduce the spread.


Children of God, not gathering in our Churches to pray and worship God together for few weeks until the current situation is abated will not take away the presence of God from us.

Truth be told, our Lord Jesus addressed such rigidity when He said to the woman by Jacob's well;  "Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem". John 4:21.

Our God is Spirit, hence It does not matter where you are, He hears you! Don't allow some of the people with Mammon spirit who are only interested in your tithes and offering to compel you to be in the Church against the directives of the Government and medical experts at this critical time when major cities in the world are locked down.

After all Jesus said; "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

Matthew 18:20.


Perhaps this current situation across the world will strengthen our family Altars and encourage many believers to develop their personal relationship with Jesus through quality "quiet time".


I therefore beseech you to pray with your family/people in the closet of your home and the Lord will answer our Prayers in Jesus name. 🙏


Meanwhile, concerning the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus and our being gathered together to be with Him: I beg you not to become easily unsettled or alarmed

( 2Thess 2:1-4).


I pray that this coronavirus will pass soon in Jesus name.🙏.


In conclusion Jesus said; "But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him". John 4:23.

Stay away from public gatherings for now until the situation is put under control.

It's for your own safety and that of the community where you live. Safety begins with compliance.


"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."  Revelations 2:29

                                             TRUST IS CRUCIAL!


The bible says; "The LORD detests lying lips,but He delights in people who are trustworthy". Proverbs 12:22.


I was at a mechanic workshop lately and I witnessed an intense confrontation that bothered on trust issues between two Panel beaters who had just formed a partnership.

As I watched them from a distance,I was left with no other option but to intervene in order to prevent a looming altercation.


Brethren,the issue of trust cannot be over emphasized in any relationship.

Jesus said; "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much" Luke 16:10.


Trust issues cut across every sphere of life. As a Pastor, if someone comes to you to share private matters,it is because of the confidence and trust they assume exist in their dealings with you.


Your obligation is to pray and counsel such person in the way of the Lord and you are bound to threat the matter in a confidential manner.You are not even permitted to share it with your spouse.


The recent increase in divorce cases, separation, physical abuse, murder and suicide cases in marriages is very worrisome. It's quite unprecedented but traceable to trust issues.


Someone said: My love is unconditional but my trust and respect are not!

What this statement means is that irrespective of what you do to me as my spouse,friend, partner, parent or child; I will always love you but earning my trust and respect is dependent on your sincerity of purpose.


Unfortunately, love in itself cannot keep a home,for trust is the essential bedrock that sustains a marriage. Permit me to liken trust to the engine oil in a car which must not dry up. A peaceful marriage is one where the oil of trust is flowing perpetually.

Marriage is about oneness! Genesis 2:24.


If you live a life of secrecy in your marriage, you have easily opened the door of paranoia to your spouse. A spouse in a Godly marriage has right to ask questions whether out of suspicion or not and the other spouse is expected to give satisfactory response devoid of defiance and annoyance in order to enhance trust. 1 Peter 3:1&2


Unrepentant lies are usually what metamorphosed to infidelity. Addictive social media and mobile phone flirting are tools the devil is using to destroy marriages,many more homes may be ruined if not addressed.


The bible says "Catch all the foxes,those little foxes,before they ruin the vineyard of love.."

Song of Solomon 2:15


If your phone is usually glued to you and your spouse is forbidden to touch it or you are fond of deleting call logs and messages of someone of the opposite sex, it is obvious you are hiding something.You have betrayed the trust in that marriage.Please make amends to avoid putting your marriage in jeopardy.


Unfortunately, trust in marriage does not have refill bottles, once it's gone you probably won't get it back and if you are fortunate to have it back,it might not be as full as the initial one exhausted.


Please flee any form of flirting and cheating but be very transparent to your spouse about all your dealings with others.


I beseech you husbands and wives that you give honor to your marriages and remain faithful to one another.For God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral

Hebrews 13:4


By the way,the trust I am preaching about is only anchored on truth.Any relationship built on cover up, deception,lies falsehood and deceit is bound to fail. Honesty is the best policy,let it be your watchword.


However, bear with each other and forgive any complaint you may have against one another.Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:13.

I pray for every marriage that is experiencing turbulence as a result of trust issues,may God heal the wounds in your union and you shall be rejuvenated in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                   THE MASTER KEY

Locks are never manufactured without a key. For every door there is a specific key that opens it.However, a master key is a key that is capable of opening several different locks.

In other words, with a master key you do not need to carry around a bunch of keys because one single key (master key) can give you access to multiple doors.


In the same vein, there are different kinds of sicknesses and diseases in the world today.

Medically, for every kind of sicknesses and diseases there are specific specialist doctor. For example If you have issues with your eyes you will be referred to an Ophthalmologist,while if you have broken bones you will be asked to see an Orthopaedic

doctor, an Obstetrician or a Gynaecologist is the doctor for pregnant issues, while a

Dermatologist is a specialist doctor who manages diseases related to skin, hair and nails and some cosmetic problems.


The reality of the medical profession is that no single doctor can attend to all cases.

Ironically, the bible says concerning our Lord Jesus;

"A vast crowd brought to him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn’t speak, and many others. They laid them before Jesus, and He healed them all".

Matthew 15:30.


Little wonder Jesus is also called the Great Physician! He alone can heal all diseases and sicknesses. Permit me to say to you that in our Lord Jesus Christ we have a Master Key that can unlock all issues of life.

It is also recorded that;

"News about Him spread all over Syria, and people with every kind of sickness or disease were brought to him. Some of them had a lot of demons in them, others were thought to be crazy, and still others could not walk. But Jesus healed them all". Matthew 4:24.

Many people have been rejected in hospitals because medical science does not have a cure or explanations for their sicknesses. What doctor will treat a demon possessed person? That was the case of the Mad man of Gadara. Mark 5:1-20.

The bible says no one could restrain the mad man of Gadara but when he came in contact with Jesus, the demons in him fled.

"Jesus is the one that holds the key of David. What He opens, no one can close; and what He closes, no one can open". Revelation 3:7.

When you are connected to this Jesus you will come to terms with the master key concept in Him.

That's why the song writer wrote; 🎼🎹🎤

All things are possible

When we call in His name

All things are possible

In Jesus name

Mountains will crumble

Chains shall be broken

All things are possible

In Jesus name.


The bible records that Jesus sent His disciples to untie a colt that has been tied down to a spot for a long time. Saying to them;

"Go into the village ahead of you, and as soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it here, Mark 11:2

The good thing about that story is that Jesus told the disciples how to untie the colt. He said to them; If anyone asks you, 'Why are you doing this?' say, 'The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly." Mark 11:3.

Lo and behold, everything happened just as Jesus told the disciples.

I don't know what the enemy has tied down in your life, it could be your health, your business, finances, delay in marriage, marital crises, your career or perhaps delayed conception, in the name of Jesus you are loose. 🙏.


Certainly, Jesus is the Master Key that unlock every issues of life. Align your life with Him in order to enjoy the benefits of the master key.

                                          BE MINDFUL OF THE SIGNS


A sign is defined as a mark by which persons or things are distinguished and made known. The bible highlights certain signs that will precede the end of time in Daniel 12:4, Matthew 24:7, 2 Timothy 3:1-5, Joel 2: 28-32, Revelation 15:1 and some other passages.

An in depth meditation of these bible verses will offer one the consciousness of the time and season that we are now. People of God, if you take into cognizance the events (signs) happening across the world today, you do not need a prophet to tell you that we are in the end times.

Our Lord Jesus berated the Pharisees and Saducees of old for their ignorance of these signs, saying to them;

“When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times".Matthew 16:2&3.

For me, the recent outbreak of coronavirus or Covid 19 as it is also referred to should be a wake up call for us to pay more attention to the signs mentioned in the bible concerning the return of Jesus.

Ignorance of the law they say is no excuse." Permit me to say to you that not knowing the signs pointing to the Second Coming of Jesus will not be a tenable excuse for anyone either.

In the same vein, not doing anything or ignoring those signs will be very fatal too.🥺 If you ignore those signs you do so at your own peril. In fact,

 "Ignoring the signs is a good way to end up at the wrong destination:.

Brothers and Sisters, hell fire is not our desired destination. Jesus said;

"If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also". John 14:3

I pray for you and for myself; it shall be said of us; " heaven at last" in Jesus name. 🙏

All the signs identified in all the bible verses about the end times have happened already, pointing to the reality that the end is very imminent.

Although, with the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.  2 Peter 3:8.

Notwithstanding what is going on in the world today, the good news to be taken away from it is that some of us are exempted from coronavirus and other epidemic diseases. How did I know this?

It is written; The LORD will protect you and I from all sickness. He will not let us suffer from the terrible diseases of Egypt, but He will inflict them on all our enemies in Jesus name. 🙏 Deuteronomy 7:15.

However, it is important that one acknowledges the reality of the signs on ground and be very proactive about the situation of things. The bible refers to the sons of Issachar, as men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do. 1 Chronicles 12:32

Therefore, knowing what to do in times and seasons like this is very crucial. We need to take necessary precautions and not take things for granted. Let us continue to be prayerful and stay safe.

In conclusion, knowing all the signs and the seasons will be useless without knowing Jesus. Accept him now!

                                        RE-EXAMINE YOUR WAYS!



"Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD".

Lamentations 3:40

Brethren,I deliberately used the word "re- examine" because I felt there is need for every one of us to have a second assessment of our ways before God.

"Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall".

1 Corinthians 10:12.

Re-examination becomes necessary because of the obvious similarities between the world' system and that of the Christendom today.There is high tendency that one has deviated like Demas (2 Tim 4:10) without knowing it.

We need to critically weigh our words, actions and generally our ways of life in the light of the word of God. It might not matter what other people are doing,but as a true believer what you do matters a lot to God,to the world and to all those who look up to you. Matthew 5:16.

Permit me to reiterate my admiration for the Christendom of the 70ties and 80ties that I grew up in.That was when the sanctity of the Church has not been tainted! I mean those days when one can easily distinguish a believer (SU) from others.

In those days, Pastors were widely respected and material acquisition was not known to the clergy. Moderation was the watchword back then.

Payment of tithe and offering was not an issue in the sermons of that era.People gave to the work of God without being coerced or manipulated as it is now.

There were fewer Churches then,yet social vices were very minimal. Godliness with contentment( 1 Timothy 6:6) was the lifestyle of many people, unlike now when corruption is on the high in every facet of our society despite the increasing number of Churches.

So where did we go wrong?

"You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God". James 4:4.

Brethren,there is an urgent need for the Church to have an evaluation of what we do now and the impact we are making in our society.

Although the bible says;

"where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty". 2 Cor 3:17,but the same Apostle Paul who wrote the above verse went on to say;

"don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature". Galatians 5:13.

People like referencing the dance of David in order to justify what they do, however, David also slept with another man's wife and went ahead to mastermind the death of that man. 🤔 2 Samuel 11

Shall we then emulate David in all? God forbid.

The world is watching us.🥺 Jesus said;

"You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless".

Matthew 5:13

We are called to make a difference wherever we find ourselves, so let us embrace every opportunity to do so. Jesus remains our standard and He hasn't lowered the standard for us either. (Hebrews 13:8) 

He is calling on you and I today;

But I have this against you: You have abandoned your first love. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.If you do not repent,I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place". Rev. 2:4&5.

Let us be watchful and prayerful for the returning of our Lord Jesus.

Obviously, Satan is looking for ways to sift us like wheat.

Re- examine your ways using the word of God and see whether you are still standing in the faith. For the time has come for judgment,and it must begin in the Church.if judgment begins with us,what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News and those who have deviated from it? 1 Peter 4:17.

I beseech you, Pastor,Reverend, Evangelist, Deacon,Gospel Singer, Brother and Sister: re examine yourself and return to God.

I pray for you and for myself:

May we not lose our flavour in the kingdom of God in Jesus name. 🙏

YOUR VOICE MATTERS!

Someone once said "Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice".

Children of God, there is something very significant about voice .


When our Lord Jesus was about to begin His earthly Ministry the bible says;

"And a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!”

Matthew 3:17.


For me,being involved in the work of God is not due to the bandwagon effect,neither is it about money or trying to be a wannabe;


It is simply because of the "Persistent Voice of God" (Romans 11:29)


The bible says in Isaiah 30:21;

"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying,"This is the way;walk in it."


For God to deliver the Israelites from Egypt He had to raise a voice for them in Moses;

"Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh and say to him, 'This is what the LORD says:Let my people go, so that they may worship me". Exodus 8:1.

Mordecai & the Jews were to be wiped out in the land of Persia when Esther(a Jew) was the Queen.    Mordecai sent a message to Esther;

"If you keep silent at this time,relief and deliverance will come to the Jewish people from another place, but you and your father's family will be destroyed. Who knows, perhaps you have come to your royal position for such a time as this."  Esther 4:14.

Esther approached the King against all odds of being killed and she became a voice for the Jews.


Interestingly, many people always seek the voice of the high and mighty, whereas it was the voice of a butler whose name was not even mentioned that brought out Joseph from prison to appear before Pharaoh and eventually became a Prime minister.  Genesis 41:9-15.

In other words, God can use just anybody to be a voice needed for you to be lifted!

However, Hold on to this; whatever you do will speak (voice) for you to be known or make your voice to be heard in high places. 👌


Magicians and wise men had learnt their voices to Pharaoh, but only Joseph's voice was heard!

Prayer: God, raise a voice for me and give me a voice that will be heard & respected in high places in the name of Jesus.🙏


It is very important that you realize you are a prepared voice for many others.

How did I know this? God said to Jeremiah;

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5.

In like manner, Jesus said about Paul;

"This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel".  Acts 9:15.

It is usually said; " A closed mouth is a close destiny"

I beseech you therefore in the name of Jesus that you be a Voice for yourself,family, children, marriage, Church and for Nigeria in the place of prayer.


You also need to be a voice for the voiceless  Matthew 25:35-40.

Your wealth, titles and position are given by God in order for you to be a voice and a blessing for many others.

Don't keep quiet;

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed".

Proverbs 31:8


God has tied the liberation & the survival of many people to your voice,so use that voice otherwise God will replace you. 😩


In conclusion,

John the Baptist was “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight.”

Isaiah 40:3.

He used his voice vigorously for the First Coming of Jesus.

Meanwhile, according to the bible; Jesus has to be preached to all nations before the end will come

Matthew 24:14

Are you prepared to be the voice proclaiming Jesus' Second Coming?

I pray for myself and for anyone who desires it; Lord Jesus,let me continue to be a voice who proclaims your name to all creation and to consistently creates the awareness of the reality of your Second Coming.🙏

                                                               BE LIFTED!


The bible says;

"For promotion come neither from the east, nor from the west nor from the south.But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another". Psalm 75:6&7.


Children of God, the world we live in today is very cruel indeed and full of wickednees. Believe it or not some people's destinies have been confined to a spot, both in the spiritual realm and we also see it manifesting in the physical.


The good news is that the bible says; God is interested in lifting up those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted to safety. Job 5 :11


The story of

Mephibosheth who was the son of Jonathan and grandson of King Saul comes to mind. The bible makes us to understand that Mephibosheth was lame at both feet as a result of a fall when he was five years old. 2 Samuel 4:4


Mephibosheth's disability made things worse for him as he was forgotten for many years.

However, a time came when David decided he will show kindness to anyone remaining in the house of Saul for Jonathan's sake.


Eventually, Ziba, Saul's servant mentioned Mephibosheth's name to David and said;

"He is at the house of Makir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar."  2 Samuel 9:4


Brethren, out of curiosity I checked the meaning of "Lo Debar", lo and behold it means; No pasture! 😩

What a cruel world. 


The grandson of a King became crippled due to the carelessness of a nanny, then they dumped him in Lo Debar, where there was no pasture! Hummmm;


"I have seen slaves on horses, and princes walking on the ground like slaves".

Ecclesiastes 10:7.


This is the work of the wicked people, but the bible says;

"(God) He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor". 1 Samuel 2:8.


Eventually, King David gave an order to Ziba;

" You and your

15 sons and 20 servants will work for Mephibosheth. You will farm his land and bring in his crops, so that Saul's family and servants will have food. But Mephibosheth will always eat with me at my table."  2 Samuel 9:10


Consequently, a forgotten lame man who was confined to a spot in Lo Debar suddenly received a divine lifting which made him to have thirty six servants working for him and he was offered the privilege of eating on the king's table despite his disability.


I pray for you and for myself, may God lift you up that when you call one person, hundreds of people will answer you in Jesus name. 🙏


The Psalmist wrote: "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from?"

Psalm 121:1.


Everyone of us needs the lifting of God in one way or the other.


For all those who are broken hearted due to financial crisis, medical reports, loss of loved ones, delay in marriage or delay in child bearing and all issues of life, I pray for you, the God who lifted up Hannah and gave her a new song will lift you up in Jesus name🙏.

1 Samuel 2:1-10


In revelation 4:1, John said;

"Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.”


The implication of the above verse is that there is a level one needs to attain spiritually in order to have access to deep things of this world.


In other words, God wants us to be lifted spiritually. Jesus said;

"And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”

John 12:32.


I don't know about you, my case is different. When others are cast down, I shall say there is lifting up. (Job 22:29).


When God lifts you up, no man can pull you down.


However, one major prerequisite for divine lifting is humility. That's why the bible says;

"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up" 🙏 James 4:10


I pray God will lift you up beyond your imaginations, expectations and limitations in Jesus name🙏.

                                              ARE YOU WITNESSING FOR JESUS?

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us (believers) an hint of what will happen to us and of course what is expected of us when He said;

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8.

Being a witness of Jesus is, telling people about what you know about Jesus having been following Him.

Few days ago, I was driving out of the Estate where I live and a lady waved me down for a lift. I stopped and picked her. As we were approaching the gate of the Estate, she indicated she will get down. Then, while parking the car I reached out for one of the tracts I had prepared for evangelism and handed it to her as I said;  "Jesus loves you"

Immediately, she smiled and said:

"I was going to tell you about my church but I decided to keep quiet".

Then I replied, "I was going to tell you about Jesus."

Soon after she dropped,I began to ponder on the words between myself and the lady.

Then, the Holy Spirit reminded me of the story of Philip.

The bible says;

"The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.” John 1:43

From the moment Philip met Jesus, he began to follow Him about.

The bible later says; "Philip found Nathaniel and told him, "We have found the One Moses wrote about in the Law (and so did the prophets): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth!" John 1:46

In a nutshell, Philip witnessed for Jesus by telling Nathaniel about Jesus.

Our primary mandate is to call people to Christ and not necessarily to Church. Romans 10:14

Someone can be in a "Church" and still not know Christ!

As someone rightly puts it;

"Many people grow up in the Church but never grow in Christ, they know hymns but do not know Him"

Although, the bible says we should not forsake the gathering of believers

(Hebrews 10:25) however, your pastor cannot save you, neither will your church attendance take you to heaven!

Jesus said;

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me".

John 14:6.

Unfortunately, "there are many wolves in shepherd clothing" whom instead of opening shrines decided to stay put in the Church deceiving their followers.

Every true Minister of the Gospel knows, it's all about Jesus! We ought not to put Church before Christ, it's like " putting the cart before the horse". For without Christ there won't be Church.

John the Beloved said;

"We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard,so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ". 1 John 1:3

Truth be told, it is the desire and the self centredness of some people to make name for themselves and build a reputation for their Churches and Ministry that have turned things upside down.

That was exactly what happened concerning the Tower of Babel, when some people said to themselves;

"Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves". Genesis 11.4

Their motive was not right before God, so He scattered them.

Brethren, do you witness for Jesus or you are witnessing for your pastor and the Church?

"For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake". 2 Corinthians 4:5.

Finally, you cannot give what you don't have. If you are going to witness for Jesus, you must be that person that have met Him, known Him and is following Him just like Philip.

I therefore use this medium to admonish you;

witness for Jesus,in the course of doing so you can tell people about the Church you belong to knowing fully well it's a Church where Jesus is being preached.

May all our works and labour for the work of God not be rejected in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                     IT IS WRITTEN.....

Someone once said:

"a verbal contract isn't worth the paper it's written on".

In other words, enforcing a verbal agreement can be a huge challenge, it is usually easier and straightforward when there is a written agreement.

In the same vein,our Lord Jesus Christ showed us the reality of the power behind the written words when He used the phrase; "it is written" three times while satan tempted Him. Matthew 4:1-10.

Apparently, Jesus repeated the phrase in order to reiterate the supremacy and the validity of the words of God. After the third time the bible says;

"Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him".

Matthew 4:11.

It goes to show that even the devil recognizes the power behind the word of God.

Hebrews 4:12.

The question here is: how much of the written words of God do you proclaim into your life?

The words of God are enforceable.* We are expected to be using the words of God effectively in our daily lives.

"For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope".

Romans 15:4

Certainly, Jesus is the Word of God. (John 1:1) He went further to say;

"If you ask me anything in my name I will do it"

John 14:14.

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus everything should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus is Lord.

Phillippians 2:9-11

To this end, I therefore invoke the written words of God over your life and mine;

For it is written;

"by His stripes we are healed". Isaiah 53:5.

Hence, sicknesses and diseases in our lives shall give way in Jesus name. 🙏

I also found it written in my bible that;

"You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you".🙏 Job 22:28.

It is also written that;

"A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me. I will only observe with my eyes and see the punishment of the wicked".

Psalm 91:7&8.

Brethren, I discovered it written that;

"When men are cast down, then I shall say, There is lifting up". Job 22:29.

It is clearly written;

"I will not die, but I will live and tell what the LORD has done". 🙏 Psalm 118:17

"No weapon that is fashioned against me shall succeed, and I shall refute every tongue that rises against me in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD.” 🙏 Isaiah 54:17.

It's highly important that you know this, it is written and confirmed that;

"Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near".

Revelations 1:3

Brothers and Sisters, these written words of God may not work for everybody.

Your affiliation with Jesus is very important.

God said to Abraham;

"I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless".

Genesis 17:1b

The Second Coming of our Lord Jesus is closer than ever before, repent now!

In conclusion, it is written;

"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise".

Proverbs 11:30

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!

Apostle Paul wrote;

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".

Phillippians 4:13.

Having confidence in yourself and what you are capable of doing is very important in life.

Apparently, God has deposited unique gifts and talents in every individual.

However, many people are not aware of the gifts and qualities they possess, hence, they are only manifesting very little of the potentials in them.

Such was the case of a man called Gideon in the bible. Judges 6. He was an ordinary man on paper, but when God sent an angel to him , he was addressed as a " mighty man of valour".(bravery)

In the same vein, many of us are mighty men and women of valour that are yet to be revealed. It's just a matter of time the world will hear about us. .

Nobody knew about Gideon before God unleashed him against the midianites. Infact, Gideon

doubted his own ability to lead the Israelites in the battle against the midianites. He said to God;

“how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.”

Judges 6:15

God had to reassure him of the hidden potentials he carried and more importantly, the presence of God upon him.

Little wonder, Gideon with only three hundred soldiers defeated One hundred and thirty five thousand midianites soldiers.

Judges 7&8

If only we realise the grace of God upon our lives we would have been doing more with our lives.

Lack of self belief have kept many people in the oblivion for too long. It is high time they got out from the shell and be more purpose driven.

Most successful people today are people that believed in their own qualities and did things in their own unique ways, carving out a niche for themselves in their chosen industry and vocation.

David would not have killed Goliath and become so famous, if he had succumbed to the rebuke of his eldest brother: Eliab.

1 Samuel 17:29-30

Truly, Eliab was the known soldier but David was an unknown warrior who was confident about the gifts of God upon his life even against the mighty looking Goliath at that time.

Apparently, there are many people around us today that are Eliab in nature.

As a result of the position they occupy they do not want another person to out shine them, hence they will do everything to undermine and kill the potentials of a rising star in you, however; they will not succeed in Jesus name.

You do not need the approval of men to get things right. Respect everyone; young, old, rich , poor, influential, but fear God who alone is able to make you what you are destined to become in life.

God did not bring you to this world to seek approval of people. Believe in yourself and the power of God upon your life, which is capable of producing the unthinkable in your life and glorifying the name of Jesus.

Just as some of us have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Gospel, so we speak, not to please men, but to please God who tests our hearts.

1 Thessalonians 2:4

Therefore, let's stop putting the power of approval over our lives in other people's hand, shall we?

Start believing in yourself, be bold and courageous enough to utilize the gifts and talents of God upon you.

When you have Jesus, you are unstoppable. keep moving and keeping shining for Jesus.

The Almighty God will bless and prosper the works of our hands and the glory of the Lord shall be evident over our lives in Jesus name. .

IN A LITTLE WHILE...

This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD Almighty.

Haggai 2:6&7

"In a little while" means very soon. it is usually used when something is about to happen.

When the time of the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ was getting closer, He said to His disciples:

"In a little while you won’t see me anymore. But a little while after that, you will see me again.”

John 16:16.

Shortly after that pronouncement, everything happened according to the words of Jesus.

I don't know what your own expectations are, but the word of God is capable of bringing them to pass in a little while!

It does not matter how many times you have failed in the past, it doesn't matter what name people are calling you as a result of that situation, hear the word of God:

In a little while your story will change and your testimony will be the talk of the town in Jesus name.

When a pregnant woman is in labour, she goes through all sort of pain, but in a little while after, the pain turns to joy!

"After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you in Jesus name". 1 Peter 5:10.

Definitely, this message is meant for someone. In a little while your mockers will turnaround to celebrate you in the name of Jesus.

Joseph suffered for many years. He was in the prison when Pharaoh sent for him to come to the palace and in a little while after he became the Prime Minister. All of that happened in a day! Genesis 41.

I say it to you again; in a little while the tables will turn for your upliftment, what has seemed impossible for you will become possible and you will sing a new song in the name of Jesus.

Trust God, in a little while that sickness will be a thing of the past in Jesus name.

The Mad man of Gadara was in a state of madness for many years until he met Jesus and in a little while thereafter he became an Evangelist; spreading the Good News of Jesus.

Luke 8:26-39

Our God has a way of compensating His children. As a result of the shame and disgrace of the past, in a little while the Lord Almighty will give you double and your joy will be full ( Isaiah 61:7) in the name of Jesus.

In conclusion,

whether you avert your mind to it or not, the time for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is closer than before!

For, “Yet a little while and the coming One will come and will not delay"

Hebrew 10:37.

Jesus is coming back soon. Therefore, get yourself prepared for Him.

DON'T SIT ON THE FENCE!

Someone who "sits on the fence" is that person who maintains a neutral and non-committal stand about something.

Ideally, sitting on the fence is not a bad thing to do when it comes to personal issues pertaining to two people.

As someone rightly puts it:

"The first sign of stupidity is inheriting other people's enemies as a sign of loyalty".

However, when it comes to things that affect the vulnerable and things of God; please Don't sit on the fence!

As true believers, our Lord Jesus does not want us to sit on the fence. We are meant to stand for the truth and what is right. Jesus said;

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!So, because you are lukewarm- neither hot or cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth"

Revelation 3: 15&16

It's the most dangerous thing to be cast away from God.

Psalm 51:11.

Àlthough, Jesus sent the words of Revelation 3:15 & 16 to the Church in Laodecia. Similarly, there are many christians these days who are also lukewarm in their attitude to the work of God.

Lukewarm christians believe the message of the gospel, but are not meaningfully engaged in the work of God.

Your talents, gifts, energy and resources are meant for edification of the body of Christ and furtherance of the work of God.

"We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is in teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is to lead, do it diligently, if it is to show mercy do it cheerfully. Let love be without hypocrisy. Detest evil; cling to what is good.

Romans 12:6-9.

Apostle Paul also implores us not to sit on the fence when he said; "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,but rather expose them".

Ephesians 5:11.

Evil is being perpetrated around you, yet

you kept quiet because it hasn't affected you yet.

That is hypocrisy.

According to Albert Einstein;

"The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it".

You are not called to be nominal (a figurehead) Christian, but a vibrant one; praying and doing exploits for Jesus.

Daniel 11:32b

More importantly, you cannot afford to sit on the fence concerning the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Accept Jesus now before it's too late.

I charge you therefore;

"Learn to do good; Seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless,plead for the widow.

Isaiah 1:17.

Don't sit on the fence!

Prayer : Father, cast me not away from your presence Lord, but help me to continue to be a useful vessel in your kingdom in Jesus name.

GRACE FOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Glory be to God for the privilege given to us to see the beginning of the year 2020. For some of us it's another opportunity to make amends where necessary before God.

"For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies," declares the Lord GOD. "Therefore, repent and live."

Ezekiel 18:32

As we venture into this new year, we are embarking on a journey that we have never gone before now.

The bible says in the book of Job chapter 36:19;

"Would your wealth or even all your mighty efforts sustain you so you would not be in distress?"

Realistically, every year comes with it's own challenges, battles,trials etc and no one is exempted.

That's why God said;

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you".

Isaiah 43:2.

Therefore,when any issue of life comes your way in the course of your journey with God this year, do not allow it to overwhelm you for Jesus had promised;

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

The grace of God is what will sustain us and allow us to wriggle through everything that comes our way in this year like never before.

"By strength shall no man prevail".

1 Samuel 2:9

For me; it has always been by the Grace! Permit me to use the words of Apostle Paul;

"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me".

1 Corinthians 15:10.

Your natural strength, your intellect, title,

human connection or strength alone cannot take you far in the journey of life.

For this new year we shall need a whole lot more of the Grace of God: JESUS

( Titus 2:11) to succeed and prevail.

"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength".

Phillippians 4:13.

May the Grace of our Lord Jesus be with us, sustain us and help us to accomplish greater things this year in Jesus name.

REFLECT ON THE WEIGHTIER MATTERS

Our Lord Jesus Christ made us to understand that there are certain things in this life that are far more important than others.

Jesus said to the Scribes and Pharisees; “you have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness."

Matthew 23:23.

Without any iota of doubt, Christmas is the most recognized and celebrated festival in the world and it's all about JESUS.

Former British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill said; "Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but also of reflection". I sincerely agree with him.

As we celebrate this Christmas, let's reflect and attend to those important matters we have neglected.

It will amount to injustice, hypocrisy and neglect if we fail to attend to the plight of the poor majority.

We are called to show love to God and to one another. Matthew 22:37-39.

God expects us to "Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute". Psalm 82:3

Apparently, most of our Churches are getting richer but the majority of the people that constitute the Church are living in abject poverty.

More than ever, the weightier matters are now being flaglantly neglected without any remorse.

Many people are in perpetual bondage,yet suffering in silence due to the increasing religious demands and nothing tangible is being done to ease the burden.

Matthew 23:4.

Deuteronomy 15;7-11 & Matthew 25:25-40 are very clear about our duty to the plight of the poor among us.

Come to think of it; all the riches of this world; mansions, private jets, luxury cars, clothing,titles including the mega church buildings will not matter when the trumpet sounds.

The things that will matter at the end is not going to be what we bought with money, neither will it be about what we got but rather what we shared.

Taking care of the Spiritual and physical needs of Souls and preparing them for the Second Coming of Jesus are the weightier masters now.

Matthew 28:19 & 20
