OUR GOD IS STILL SPEAKING!

The bible says;
"In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways"..
Hebrews 1:1

People of God, this God also spoke and still speaking to us through His Son (JESUS) who though being part of the Trinity that existed from the beginning came to this world in human likeness.

This same God has also been speaking to us through the Holy Spirit; who is the Greatest Teacher and Revealer of Truth.

More closely to us, God has been speaking through His words as contained in the Bible.

When God speaks, it is settled!

To this end, I beseech you all to be connected to this RCCG Convention as we experience Jesus afresh!

My prayer for you is that, the Almighty God will speak healing, liberation, progress,promotion, deliverance and all good success into your life in the name of Jesus.

"No woman in your land will miscarry or be barren; I will fulfill the number of your days".
Exodus 23:26.

Children of God, the word of God has been tested and trusted (Psalm 12:6) over the years and it remains one of the most reliable weapons at our disposal.

According to the Psalmist, God honours His word above all of His names.Psalm 138:2

In the same vein,
the word of God says;

"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
Psalm 127:3

However, it is important that you know and have a relationship with this God.

Consequently, I beseech you all particularly every expectant Mother and Father out there; that you connect with Jesus in order to invoke and claim the above words of God into your lives and believe same.

As the Lord lives, before whom I stand; it won't be long before you share your own testimony.

As for those of us that have been blessed already, our children who are heritage of the Lord; bundle of Joy will not turn to sorrow in the name of Jesus. .

                        BITTER PILL AWAITS THE WICKED!

#AndGodSaid ;

"Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done".
Isaiah 3:10&11.

Literally, a wicked person is someone that is evil or one who deliberately harm other people.

Children of God, we live in a world full of evil and wickedness. I mean unimaginable evil.

Apostle Paul had warned us;

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places".
Ephesians 6:12.

Those spiritual wickedness in high places dwell in the heart of men and women. How did I know?

God said in the book of Jeremiah chapter 17:9;

The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked: who can know it?"

Obviously, our God does not condone evil. The bible makes us to understand that God hates evil deeds and wickedness;

"For you are not a God that has pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with you".
Psalm 5:4.

Without doubt, God is merciful. That's why God bears with the wicked, but not forever though!

Many people are taking the mercy of God for granted. To this end, wickedness is gradually finding legitimacy in our environment.

How does one explain a wicked fellow who perpetually manipulates and
perpetuates evil acts seeking and praying for mercy.

Thank God mercy belongs to God. The bible says;

"To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against him"

You can only give or order what you have access to. God requires that all sinners repent of their sins, hence repentance is a prerequisite to obtaining mercy.
Ezekiel 33:11

Therefore, I beseech you not to engage in futile exercise by praying for mercy for an unrepentant wicked fellow.

"Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free".
Proverbs 11:21.

Someone once said; "A good man has more hope in his death than a wicked man in life"

A bitter pill can be defined as an extreme vexation or humiliation
especially one constituting a punishment, retribution that is unavoidable expedient on someone that has done evil.

Hear me, the wickedness of the wicked shall turn to his destruction, for evil shall be his reward.

Yoruba people call the wicked people.
"Apa omo lekun jaye".

Meaning, someone that causes sorrow and pain to others,but wants to enjoy life.
What an Aberration!

Hear me;
“There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”
Isaiah 48:22

The phrase “the chicken has come home to roost” is an expression that implies that bad things a wicked person says or does will come back to hurt them.

Children of God;

"I have seen people plow fields of evil and plant wickedness like seed; now they harvest wickedness and evil".
Job 4:8.

The perpetrators of evil deeds will not go without punishment.

Pray this prayer for yourself and your family; any man or woman who points a finger at me or towards any member of my family for evil purpose, the remaining four fingers will heap that evil back to the fellow in Jesus name.

"Whoever digs a pit will fall into it; if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them" .
Proverbs 26:27.

In the name of the One(Jesus) that called me;
"Ise buburu ota mi a dale won lori" Meaning;
every evil work of my enemy will heap on his head.
After all, we are meant to pray for our enemies.

There is no justification for anyone planning or perpetuating evil against another. In the same vein, it is equally wickedness for anyone to be in connivance with a wicked person to hurt another.

My grouse is particularly against those drumming support for and are pampering the wicked people and those who
have anything to do with kidnapping and ritual killings in Nigeria;

As the Lord lives before whom I stand, every conspirator or
anyone aiding and abetting a wicked person in scheming, plotting or devising evil acts towards others will not escape the bitter pill of their wickedness in the name of Jesus.

Apparently, wicked people have a way of supporting one another. That is their strength.

However, my bible says; "He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD".
Proverbs 17:15

Unfortunately, wickedness is not written on the forehead.

A popular Yoruba adage says: "All lizards lie down with their stomach but no one can discern which one of them is having stomach ache"

Meaning, wicked people are not easily known. They could be someone that smiles at you the mostly,
colleagues, closest friends, neighbours, your co-worshippers or even family members.

Our Lord Jesus Christ said;

"Your worst enemies will be the members of your own family".
Matthew 10:36. see also Micah 7:6&7.

When David was told, “Ahithophel (his counsellor) was among the conspirators with Absalom
(his son), David prayed, “Lord, turn Ahithophel’s counsel into foolishness.”
1 Samuel 15:31
Eventually, Absalom died and Ahithophel committed suicide.

I pray again, every " Ahithophel" engaging in any evil plot with another person(s) against me and my family will hurt themselves in the name of Jesus.

However, God only fight for His children. If you are yet to give your life to Jesus ,perhaps you are the architect of evil against your life.
Open the door of your heart to Him now.

In conclusion, I beseech you not to lift a finger against perpetrators of evil or device any scheme to retaliate;

"For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.”
Roman's 12:19

However, we all have a role to play, the choice is yours to make. You can either join bandwagon of people singing mercy for the wicked who refuses to repent or you speak out and pray.
2 Chronicles 7:14.

However, the greatest evil or injustice anyone can do is by failing to do anything about the wicked.

The legendary German Physicist, Albert Einstein once said: "The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it".

Consequently, I enjoin you to use the armour of God and be very consistent in aggressive prayers as stated in
Ephesians 6:14-18.
against the wicked and be sure your hands are clean.

Remember; He who comes to God (equity) must come with clean hands"
Psalm 24:3&4.

If your hands are clean of evil;

"You will only look on with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked".
Psalm 91:8.

                                 ARE YOU IMPACTING LIVES?

Apostle Paul wrote:

"Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them:if prophecy, in proportion to our faith;if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach;if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully."
Romans 12:6-8

According to Kevin Kruse an American Professor:

"Life is about making an impact, not making an income.”

The question is: are you impacting lives?

Too often we underestimate the impact of a hug, a smile, a word of encouragement, a listening ear, an honest opinion, having people around us or hearing the word of God; all of which have the power to transform lives.

Many of us are fond of celebrating birthdays, wedding anniversary, number of years we have worked, including people celebrating the number of years in the work of Ministry etcetera.

Celebrating these landmark years of service, anniversaries are not bad, after all the bible says;

"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom".
Psalm 90:12

However, what is more important is the impact that we made in those years.

The earthly Ministry of Jesus only lasted for three and a half years, yet He made the greatest impact ever recorded by anyone on earth.

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down His life for His friends".
John 15:13

Children of God, your life has a purpose, your story is also important, your dreams count, your voice matters a lot, but more valuable is the impact that you make.

Many of the Priests, Scribes, Pharisees and Saducees that existed during the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ on earth were not known by name or the impact they made.

They were only referred to in the bible by reason of their antagonism to our Lord Jesus, His disciples and the spread of the Good News.

The bible says;

"They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works.They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work".
Titus 1:16

There were many women during the time of Jesus on earth but the bible made reference to Mary of Bethany
(John 11:2) the woman who had an Alabaster Box of ointment very precious and she decided to pour it on Jesus and many people thought she was wasteful, but Jesus said;

“Leave her alone. Why criticize her for doing such a good thing to me?
Mark 14:6.

There after, Jesus released a prophecy;

"Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."
Mark 14:9.

The joy of that story for me is that I am privileged today for sharing the Gospel of Jesus and true to the words of my Lord Jesus in Mark 14:9. I am making reference to the woman with the Alabaster Box. Halleluyah!!!

Hear me children of God, everyone of us has the potentials of making positive impacts in our generation but everything depends on what we do with our lives.

One thing is sure, when you work in line with your purpose you will definitely impact lives. Simon Peter struggled as a fisherman but impacted lives as Fisher of men.

Many people have recently been ordained as Deacons, Deaconesses, Assistant Pastor, Pastors.

I seize this opportunity to congratulate you all. Although the ordination is merely a public recognition and proclamation of the essential Call of God one's life. The ordination itself does not confer any power on the person being ordained

Read about ordination of Saul and David;
1 Samuel 15:1 & 16:1.
When Apostle Paul was to be ordained, the bible says;

"While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them."
Acts 13:2

Ordination, however comes with obligation to serve, impacting lives and the society at large for the sake of the name of Jesus. See Acts 9:15&16.

Different strokes for different folks; the emergence of some people in your society, work place or church can have a tremendous impact on your life and the place to the extent that you can barely remember what life was like without them.

I had the privilege of being under a Pastor for two months in the year 2018 and I can tell you the man impacted so much into my life through his teachings of which many other people corroborated same.

Despite, the fact that this man occupies a very busy office in a Government institution he dedicated so much time to teaching both week days and on Sundays, very passionate and active about evangelism and Sunday School sessions.

I remembered his words during the very first briefing session he held with the workers, where he said his major priority is to ensure a Parish without a proper church building gets a befitting structure and he mobilised funds and men for that purpose.

To the Glory of God, that place is impacting lives today. I visited the Church earlier this year and I couldn't stop appreciating God for making use of the Pastor to expand the Gospel.

God can use anybody for His work, but availability is important to God. 2 Timothy 2:21
Are you desirous of sacrificing quality time for the work of God? Your impact will be evaluated after you must have left.

The king that ruled and the kingdom expanded his name will be remembered for long, in the same vein, the king who ruled and the kingdom became afflicted and scanty will not be forgotten either.

We are still referencing the good works of Mary of Bethany; Mary Magdalene, Tabitha, Cornelius, Timothy not because of their ordination, title or position they held, but simply because of the impact they made to the Gospel.

The choice is yours to take. Do you want to be remembered like the Scribes and Pharisees, who though were connected to the Church but only worked against Jesus and the disciples or do you desire to be referenced like Apostle Paul and Simon Peter; who laboured tirelessly, touching lives and expanded the Gospel?

Brothers and Sisters, the greatest impact you can make in this life is: leading other people to Jesus. Luke 15:7.

How committed have you been for this course,
are you winning souls for God?

"I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.."
Romans 1:16

The burden of spreading the Gospel rest on you and I(Born Again Christians).
I pray that may our works continue to make positive impacts in the kingdom of God in Jesus name.

                                BE YOUTHFUL FOR JESUS!

The bible says;

"Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"
Ecclesiastes 12:1.

There has been a lot of clamour for the involvement of youth at the centre stage of affairs all over the world.

We have witnessed the emergence of youthful men and women on the biggest stages of world Politics in places like France, England and Canada.

Our dear Nation: Nigeria is not left out in the agitation for the eligibility of youths for major political offices.
To this end, a Bill called "Not Too Young To Run" was signed into law in 2018 by the President to give room for active participation of Nigerian youths in Politics.

Permit me to import that Bill into the work of God; as I push for #NotTooYoungToWorkForGod

Although it is not written anywhere in the bible, but the Scriptures made us to understand that God expect youths to work for Him.

The bible made reference to a young man called Timothy *( Acts 16:1&2)* who had strong passion for the work of God and God connected him to Apostle Paul who nurtured him and ordained him as an evangelist. Timothy served God committedly travelling around with Apostle Paul when he was twenty one years old, as they spread the Gospel to Asia.

A song writer wrote;

Forever young
I wanna be forever young
Do you really want to live forever?

Children of God, the focus and aim of this message is to encourage young people for "greater works" as regards kingdom assignments.

The question is what are you doing with your youthfulness?

The Psalmist said;

"How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word".
Psalm 119:9.

There is no excuse for youths not to be actively involved in the things of God even in this generation.

"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity".
1 Timothy 4:12.

The attitude of some youths to the things of God is questionable. You may get away with a lackadaisical attitude to other works but God is keeping records of your attitude and commitment to His work.

The bible says concerning the sons of Eli;

"Now the sons of Eli were scoundrels (rogues) who had no respect for the LORD"
1 Sam 2:12.

Growing up as a teenager, I lived around youths that had unhindered passion for the work of God.

However, the decadence and the love of money in our society today have so much eaten deep into the mind set of our youths.

Gone are the days when youths are ever willing to dedicate their time for the work of God unreservedly.

Today, most youths are not willing to work in the house of God without being remunerated.

How did we get to this level of moral decadence that has affected our attitudes, interest and dedication to the work of God.

The incessant increase in unemployment among youths in our country obviously contributes largely to the insistence of our young people demanding for money before committing themselves to the work of God.

Truth be told; the manner in which the Church of God is being run like a business enterprise, the flamboyant lifestyle and utterances of some of the men and women behind the pulpit have not helped matters either.

A situation where the Church gives preferential treatment to people who are financially endowed or where too much emphasis is being placed on prosperity preaching is not Scriptural.

Statements like;
" I will buy my own private jet", or " My next car is going to be the latest Range Rover" while preaching to a congregation of people who are struggling to get two square meal do not glorify God or edify the Body of Christ at all.

I have search the Scripture so much, I am yet to see where any of the Disciples boasted about their possessions or their affluence.

Such utterances and lifestyle can make young people to be unnecessary desperate to get wealth, thereby making them to lose focus on what matters about life.
Matthew 6:33

Many young people are not even interested in doing anything for God, however the bible says;

"The creation eagerly waits with anticipation for God's sons to be revealed".
Romans 8:19

Where are the Samuel, David (1&2 Samuel ), Elisha ( I&2 Kings), Martha and Mary the sister of Lazarus ( John 11) of this generation?

I beseech all youths out there not to be enticed by money, title or privileges attached to the work of God, but they should be motivated out of their love for God.

David said:

"I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
Psalm 122:1

Although, it must be stressed that pastoral work is not for everyone, there are many departments in the church where you can develop and make use of the gift of God in you.

The whole essence of our being is to serve God and be useful for His Glory.

The bible says;

"You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9

Jesus is counting on you to step up your dedication and be very committed to His work.

"Whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men".
Colossians 3:23

However, for those that are already working for God, I enjoin you not to be arrogant or to be prideful to the extent that you start seeing yourselves as indispensable or irreplaceable.

When Elijah felt he was the only pure Prophet left in Israel, God replied him;

"I still have left in Israel seven thousand followers who have not bowed their knees to Baal or kissed the images of him."
1 Kings 19:18

Our Lord Jesus is also not short of dedicated youths to praise Him.

At the Triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, the bible says multitude of people were following Him shouting; "Hosanna, Blessed be the King that comes in the name of the Lord". Then the Pharisees asked Jesus to rebuke the followers but He replied them;

"I say to you that if these will be silent, the stones will cry out."
Luke 19:40.

I pray for every youth, may you not be substituted by stones in the name of Jesus

Children of God, we are not going to be young forever. In reality, old age is catching up on everyone of us. nobody gets younger anyway!

It is therefore imperative that as a youth you make the best of your youthfulness.
The bible says:

"It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is still young".
Lamentation 3:27.

A time is beckoning on all of us when the strength and energy will not be there to work as before.

That's why Jesus said;

"We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work" John 9:4

In conclusion, I beseech all young people out there to;

"Flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart".
2 Timothy 2:22

                                BEWARE OF THE ACCURSED!

The Psalmist said concerning God;

"You rebuke the arrogant, who are accursed, those who stray from your commands".
Psalm 119:21.

First of all, permit me to use this medium to appreciate God for the success and Impactation of the ongoing 67th Convention of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.

I also wish to express my sincere appreciation to all those who received my invitation and connected in one way or the other to the Power pack programme. You will never experience a famine of the word of God in Jesus name .

On Tuesday the 6th of August 2019, I was praying in my living room and God said; Beware of the Accursed!

An accursed is someone that is operating under a curse or spell. A person doomed for a calamity or someone upon which a tragedy is looming.

Biblically, an accursed can be described as a person or thing that God is angry about, someone who has disobeyed God's instructions.

As I was pondering upon the word of God I received on that fateful day,
the Lord brought to my remembrance an event that happened during my teenage years,while I was
helping my late mother in her shop in Agbeni Market Ibadan.

She had a big haulage Lorry that she was using back then as a Distributor to transport her goods.

At a point in time she had no driver to drive the lorry and someone recommended a man who was one of the Area Boys in the Market. Soon after, the man started driving the Lorry but on a particular day he did not show up at home to take the Lorry.

When we got to the shop my mother sent someone to look for the man but the Driver insisted he has lost interest in driving the Lorry.

Consequently, the owner of the shop next to our shop; who recommended the driver, volunteered to go talk to him. When the man returned, he just shook his head and said;

"Efile, oloriburuku ni!". meaning; leave him, he is an accursed. It was obvious the man had made up his mind not to drive our Lorry again.

The bible says;

"You may make your plans, but God directs your actions".
Proverbs 16:9

Thank God, the matter was not pushed beyond necessary.

Brethren, every disappointment they say is a blessing in disguise.

About few hours later in the afternoon of that same day, the news of the sudden death of that driver filtered the whole market.

Apparently, he later went to drive someone's Lorry and he crashed it dying on the spot. .

Yours Sincerly, it was a mixed feeling of sorrow for the loss of life and thanksgiving on our own part.

Sometimes, we don't need to be too forceful about things we want in this life. That man could have died driving our own lorry that same day.

If only God can reveal how He diverts evil away from our path, we will appreciate Him more.

Being accursed is a reality. An
accursed person is like a time bomb; waiting to explode!

Although, there are no visible marks to identify an accursed, but it takes Spiritual alertness and the Spirit of discernment to know something is not just right with certain persons or certain occurrences.

When God sent Jonah to Nineveh, Jonah disobeyed God as he decided to flee to Tarshish.

"But the LORD sent a strong wind on the sea, and the storm was so violent that the ship was in danger of breaking up". Jonah 1:4.

The ship master later found Jonah sleeping on the boat.The bible says he woke him up and they cast a lot among the people in the boat and the lot fell on Jonah.

I pray for you as Yoruba people usually pray; you will not be in the same vehicle, boat or plane with an accursed in the name of Jesus. .

An accursed could be anybody, young and old. They are usually driven by the satanic spirit that works in "sons of disobedient" Ephesians 2:2. Anyone who have joined him/her self with the occult or witchcraft network, people engaging in ritual activities, it could be someone using diabolical power in the midst of children of God. It could be a spouse engaging in adulterous activities or persons engaging in homosexuality and lesbianism etc.

The best biblical description of an accursed can be seen in the story of the Israelites as captioned in the book of Joshua Chapter seven. That story gives us a clear indication that an accursed person can be in a church among the people of God.

The Israelites; who are God's favourite experienced an unprecedented defeat in the hands of the sodiers of Ai who killed thirty six Israelites.
Joshua 7:5.

The incident caused great confusion among the Israelites, that Joshua; the leader of Israel at that time had to intervene.

Joshua mourned and cried before God to inquire why God allowed such misfortune to happen to the Israelites and God answered;

"Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff".
Joshua 7:11.

Brethren, when things happen in a way that is contrary to the usual, especially in an unfortunate manner, it calls for Spiritual search Light and thorough scrutiny.

The bible talks about the sons of Issachar;

"Men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do..."
1 Chronicles 12:32.

Then God commanded Joshua to sanctify the people of Israel tribe by tribe in order to expose the person that has anything to do with the accursed things.
Joshua 7:13

Eventually, the Spirit of God led Joshua to a man called Achan as he pleaded with him to confess;

Achan replied, “It is true! I have sinned against the LORD, the God of Israel".
Joshua 7:20.

He later narrated how he took some of the things God had commanded the Israelites not to take and hid them in the tent.

Then Joshua said to Achan;

"Why have you brought trouble on us? The LORD will now bring trouble on you...”
Joshua 7:25.

PRAYER : I don't know who the "Achan" is in your Church, office, family, village, city etc, causing trouble for innocent people, the Almighty God will trouble such person(s) in the name of Jesus .

Achan was eventually stoned to death and burned with all the accursed things he hid. Joshua 7:25b

As preachers of the true Gospel, we have an obligation to preach repentance on a consistent basis.
Every Achan needs to repent before God shows mercy.

I pray particularly for that "Church" that has been experiencing some abnormal occurrences in recent times that the Lord Almighty should expose every "accursed /Achan or group of Achans". among them.

Irrespective of the title or position of the person(s) involved, whoever has put his or her hand in an accursed thing causing trouble, trauma and bad name for innocent people and the Church of God, will continue to experience calamity in line with the word of God in Proverbs 1:26-28 in the name of Jesus. .

You have been warned enough.
My own bible says; "Affliction will not rise up a second time".
Nahum 1:9. However, when a matter has put the word of God to test, it calls for urgent attention & action. Enough is enough.It has become; one two many! My God will rescue this Church and the person(s) causing evil will experience the wrath of God in the name of Jesus.

Children of God, it is very important that we become very sensitive to the trail of occurrences in our midst and be very prayerful Indeed.

Just like the devil at the beginning suddenly started exhibiting arrogance and rebellion then he became an accursed in heaven that he was thrown out with his Angels
( Isaiah 14 12-15 Rev 12:7-9) so it is now even among believers. Some people who were once clean but over time have allowed greed, power and desperation to lead them to patronize the devil in one way or the other, have become "Achans" among us.

Brethren, I say this to you with a deep sense of responsibility placed on me as a watchman of the true Gospel of Jesus that;

"If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:9.

I pray for everyone who is longing for a marriage partner or business associates that, you will not be joined with an accursed in Jesus name.

In the same vein, whoever patronizes the devil in search of fruit of the womb will end with an accursed child.

When one is joined with an accursed, it could be fatal and very frustrating, be warned.

Meanwhile, God is calling on every accursed or Achan, giving them an escape route from death and reproach;

"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool".
Isaiah 1:18.

Jabez was an unfortunate accursed. Imagine what would have become of the family of Jabez.

I pray for every unfortunate accursed like Jabez
(1 Chronicles 4:9&10)
who became accursed by circumstances or as a result of sins of their parents that the mercy of God will speak for them in Jesus name.

Whoever became accursed as a result of curse placed by another man or woman still have hope because God is capable of removing any curse when we pray to Him, just like Jabez prayed and God changed the narratives about him.

Unfortunately, Achan had to die because He disobeyed God and not man. Who do you run to when God places a curse?

Therefore, let everyone yet to be connected to Jesus or those who have gone the way of Achan and Damas
(2 Timothy 4:10) to repent and return to God now before it is too late.This window of opportunity will not be available for long,act now!

                                   GOD SPEAKS HEALING!

The world we live in today came into existence as a result of God's words
(And God Said..). In the same vein;

"God sent out His Word (Jesus) and He healed them, and delivered them from their destruction".
Psalm 107:20.

Jesus Christ also performed many healing by merely speaking the word.

A centurion who recognized the power of God's word said to Jesus; "Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed".
Matthew 8:8.

Eventually, Jesus spoke the word and the servant was healed same moment.
Matthew 8:13

What He did before, He is capable of doing it again in our own lives.

This God is still speaking healing into the lives of His people even in this era. To this end, I invoke the power of God in His word into the lives of everyone reading this message that, you will be healed of any illness and diseases in the name of Jesus.

The Lord will take away from you all sickness, and none of the evil diseases of Egypt,will He inflict on you, but He will lay them on all your enemies in the name of Jesus.

Hear me, your healing is guaranteed because the Lord has spoken.

                                 ACT ON WHAT GOD SAID!

Fellow believers;
"I thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers".
1 Thess 2:13.

It's one thing for God to speak, it takes faith & obedience from us to act on what God said.

Peter wanted to walk on water, but he needed Jesus to speak; “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” Matthew 14:28.

Some of us are like Peter; we desire to hear God speaks; however many are like Jonah who refused to act on what God said until God arrested him.
Jonah 1.

Peter acted on Jesus' words & he walked on water. Matthew 14: 29.

It is expedient that you act on God's words. James 1:22.

Like the Psalmist, If I were you; "I will hurry without delay, to obey God's commands".
Psalm 119:60.

As you act on God's word it will yield for you in the name of Jesus.

                               THE SURE WORD OF GOD

The bible says;

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light".
Genesis 1:1-3.

Children of God,
talk is cheap! Perhaps the easiest thing to do for many people is to talk.

However, very few people can actually walk the talk. Many people just make promises with little or no effort to actualise those words.

In fact, most politicians are known to be very good at dishing out empty words in their manifestos even when they know they lack the wherewithal to carry them out.

In contrast, the certainty of the word of God cannot be questioned! The word: sure signifies reliability, assurance or words without any iota of doubt. Those description can only be attributed to the word of God.

God says:
"So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it".
Isaiah 55:11

The moment God speaks, it is settled. "For no word from God will ever fail." Luke 1:37.

Meditating on the first three verses of the bible reveals a strong link or synergy between the spoken Word and the Spirit of God.

The spoken Word of God in verse three obviously had the backing of the Spirit of God as it produced the needed light immediately.

Medical science tells us that in order for a woman to be pregnant, sperm of a man needs to meet up and fertilise with an egg of a woman.
Anything besides this explanation cannot make any woman to be pregnant.

However, our Lord JESUS defied the natural law of conception.

God sent Angel Gabriel to a virgin woman called Mary to inform her of what God was about to do; using her as the carrier of the Lord of Glory. Then Angel Gabriel said;

"You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David,And he will reign over Israel forever; his Kingdom will never end!”
Luke 1:31-33.

Mary being a virgin doubted the word of God, as she said;

“But how can this happen? I am a virgin.”
Luke 1:34.

The infallible nature of the word of God cannot be over emphasized.The response of Angel Gabriel further attests to the correlation between the Word and the Holy Spirit. Angel Gabriel said;

"The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you".
Luke 1:35.

When God speaks you can be sure His words will come to pass because God has all the machinery to make things happen at His disposal it's just a matter of time before it manifest.

The bible makes us to understand that Jesus is the spoken Word of God that existed with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit from the beginning. John 1:1

"God created everything through Him, and nothing was created except through Him"
John 1:3

That explains the repetitive phrase : "And God Said" in the book of creation: Genesis Chapter 1.

The word of God being sure also means it cannot be prevented by any human effort or forces of darkness.

That's why I pity the wicked people who are in the habit of trying to kill or prevent children of God.

You will only be fighting God when you decide to fight anyone working under the instructions of the sure word of God.

God reiterates the certainty of His word when He said;

"Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?"
Jeremiah 23: 29.

Hear me clearly, no man can stop the word of God upon my life and yours from being fulfilled.Whoever tries it will continue to experience the wrath of God and calamity in the name often Jesus.

It does not matter what God said, once He speaks it's done!The fig tree in Bethany is a testament to the sure word of God. Jesus cursed the fig tree and the bible says the tree dried up! Mark 11:12-24

The popular song by Kunle Meshida

That is why You are called Jehovah x2
What You say You will do
That is what You will do
That is why You are called Jehovah...

In other words, every word of God does has what it takes to bring it to pass. God's words are not empty words. They are always accompanied by the Holy Spirit and power of the Most High God

Children of God, it does not matter how long you have held on to a word of God without fulfilment, I have come to announce to you today that when God speaks you can be sure it will happen.

The bible says
"The LORD Almighty has sworn, "Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will happen".
Isaiah 14:24.

Those words of God in the bible might seem ordinary to you but I tell you with a certainty that they carry the same power (Hewbrews 4:12)
as if they came directly from the mouth of God.

Apostle Peter having experienced the transfiguration with James and John as eyewitness to the unbelievable Glory of God in our Lord Jesus Christ wrote;

"We have also a more sure word of prophecy; to which you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts"
2 Peter: 1:19

Consequently, words of prophecy are also sure words because they are from God and are bound to come to pass. Just like the words of Angel Gabriel to Mary which has four "shall/will" in it( Luke 1:35) implying the certainty of those words coming to pass.

The Yoruba people calls God "Asoro Se"; The One that speaks and it comes to pass. What a powerful God we serve!

In conclusion, Jesus said;
"You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!"
John 5:39.

Jesus is dependable and reliable. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man can access God without Jesus
John 14:6.

He is the all in all, that gives direction and meaning to our lives.

However, the word of God can only be sure for those that have relationship with Jesus. If you are yet to surrender your life to Him, I enjoin you to do so now without any delay and you will start experiencing the efficacy of the word of God in your life.

May the power of God upon the word of God continue to make impact in every area of our lives in Jesus name. .

                              MY ALLEGIANCE IS TO JESUS!

Allegiance can be defined as faithfulness or commitment to a superior, to a cause or person.

In other words, your allegiance is your support for and loyalty to a particular group, belief or to a person highly placed.

When our Lord Jesus Christ came to this world, He met all sorts of rules, traditions and norms that the Scribes and the Pharisees of those days have used to enslaved the people.

Hence, the modus operandi of our Lord Jesus was totally different from that of the Pharisees and the Scribes who often questioned the rationale behind Jesus doing things differently.

When they challenged the authority of Jesus, He replied them;

“Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of His own accord, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise".
John 5:19.

Children of God, traditions,norms have so much blindfolded many Christians of this generation to the extent that many live in perpetual bondage.

Many are in serious siege and captivity unknowingly. Most believers of this generation have turned their Pastors to their gods.

They idolize men of God forgetting that we serve a jealous God who said;

"You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods.."
Exodus 20:5.

You will hear stuffs like;
"Papa said, Mama said" even when such things are repugnant to the word of God.

That's why there are increasing questionable deeds and allegations between some men behind the pulpit and members of their congregation.

When influential people express their opinions on political and economic issues the media will use such as headlines and the general public will start echoing the statement just because of the personality and the experience of the person involved.

However, spiritual matters or the work of God are totally different. You just have to align your words with the word of God.

The size of your congregation, age, status or experience does not matter to God, he can use anybody to convey His message.

As a twelve year old boy, Jesus "started sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers".
Luke 2:46&47.

The disciples also asked Jesus numerous questions about what He did and said. It is not disrespectful when a believer walks to his or her Pastor to ask questions about why the Pastor did or say anything, so far the intent is for clarity sake.

The recent slogans of Pastors "can't do no wrong or that they do not owe anybody explanation for their actions and words are very evil and totally unscriptural"

Some ignorant folks will say stuffs like; "Every man of God must have a Spiritual Father that they are accountable to"

It is a fallacy to believe that certain people enjoy some privileges and immunity from the general commandments of God to mankind. The bible says every man to himself, that's why Apostle Paul wrote;

"But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor".
Galatians 6:4

I have searched through the bible and I discovered that wonderful men of God like; John the Baptist, Elijah, Jeremiah, Apostle Paul etc had no "Spiritual Father" they reported to.

God used them all mighty, yet they answered questions when asked concerning their work and their allegiance was totally to God.

That was why John the Baptist testified about Jesus and answered the
Levites and the Jews who questioned his background and pestered him to tell them who he was and who sent him.

Then, John said;

“I am the voice of One calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord as said by Prophet Esaias.”
John 1:23.

Brethren, I always frown at the practise of people sharing videos and words of "big" men and women of God in order to justify a particular point of view even when such words do not have credence in the word of God.

I tell you, irrespective of the experience, age, connection of a man of God, if he says anything which does not align with the word of God you are not bound to follow it.

My own bible says;

"But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good".
1 Thess 5:21.

Invariably, anything said which does not have validity in the word of God should be dispensed with.

That's why men of God should be very wary in associating themselves with Politicians of a particular party, in order not to give wrong impression to their followers who will tend to believe that whoever the Pastor supports is God's choice.

It is important that when men of God share their personal opinions about general issues they should make it clear enough in order not to allow the parishioners to be misled.

That's why Apostle Paul wrote:

"For we know in part and we prophesy in part"
1 Corint 13:9.

Everyone of us is prone to errors. After all Prophet Samuel, despite his pedigree could have anointed Eliab as King instead of David if not for the immediate intervention of God. 1 Samuel 16:6&7

Children of God, your allegiance should be to God,however you are to have regard & respect for constituted authority.
1 Peter 2:13-15

"I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken".
Matthew 12:36.

The Scribes and the Pharisees of those days were troubled by the audacity of Peter and the other disciples as the
bible says;

"When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus".
Acts 4:13

Brethren, I read the passage again lately and I discovered that, the only people doing the work of God then were doctors of theology(Scribes) Pharisees, Saducees, Priests that had big titles and appellation, yet they lacked the most important prerequisite for the work;

"An encounter or relationship with Jesus"

Not minding your years of experience and the certificates of theology you must have acquired, when you lack the call of God in the work of Ministry, your work may not be recognized in heaven.
Matthew 7:15-23

Peter and the other disciples had their allegiance rested in Jesus.
Although the Jews knew they were "unschooled & ordinary men", without theological certificates, yet they recognized the reality that they must have been connected to Jesus.

when the disciples were constrained from preaching in the name of Jesus;

"Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than any human authority".
Acts 5:29

Brethren; I say to you with all sincerity of purpose that by the Grace of God; I do not seek my own will, but only the will of Him who sent me. John 5:30.

Few years ago, just after I had an unforgettable encounter with the Owner (Jesus) of the work and I started spreading the word of God on What's App platform, someone called me to ask if I had taken permission from a "Pastor"!

It was obvious the Spirit of God in me was making their demons so uncomfortable".

Then I replied:
"I only take instructions from Jesus who owns the work"

My allegiance is totally to God, although I was brought up to be very respectful to elders, hence I have regards to constituted authority and to true men of God.

However, my utmost praise and honour goes to the one (Jesus) that commissioned me for His work.

To this end, if you by any chance come across any message;I doubt if you will find any that God inspires me to prepare without referencing the word of God in it, please disregard it totally.

I was called to preach the Word of God (Jesus) and to make His name known to the whole world in readiness of His Second Coming.

No man can do This work in isolation of the word of God.
2 Timothy 4:2-5

In the same vein, I enjoin you all not to be captivated by the empty words of any man of God whether dead or alive that does not have the support of the Scripture.

For the bible says;

"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ".
Colossians 2:8.

In conclusion,
Please note that, if you attend any Church where you cannot ask the leadership questions about conduct, affairs or the doctrines of the Church and when you ask them questions you are labelled a rebellious person, then be informed you are in an evil society (secret cult) or an 'unhealthy Church'.

In addition to that, for all Church Leaders that have thrive in the practise of "obey without questioning or you only do as you are told" the clock is ticking on you; repent before it is too late.
Ezekiel 34.

Brothers and Sisters of the Gospel, everyone of us(including the Senior Pastors, Deacons and Deaconess, etc) shall one day give individual account of our stewardship to the Creator of heaven and the earth, hence our allegiance should be to Jesus who shall judge us all and reward us according to the works we have done.
Matthew 16: 27.

Therefore,let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: "Fear God and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man".
Ecclesiastes 12:13.

Brethren, I have spoken again, just as I have been sent;

"Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the Churches"
Rev 2:29.

                                     A DESPERATE PRAYER

God spoke as recorded in the book of Psalms;

“Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me."
Psalm 50:15

A desperate prayer can be defined as a prayer offered to God when one is desirous of a turnaround or when one is in a distress.

Without doubt, a desperate and urgent situation will trigger a desperate prayer.When you
desire an immediate respite or relieve from a stubborn or apprehensive situation,you will open your mouth to pray;

"If I were you, I would turn to God and present my case to Him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted".
Job 5:8&9.

I watched a video of the last moments of passengers of a recent plane crash and I saw men and women praying desperate
prayers for safety.It was very terrifying. At that point the name of Jesus was in most people's lips.

The good thing about prayer is that we serve a living God that answers prayer.

If our God answers ordinary prayers, how much more
will He respond to our desperate prayers.

Someone once said: "When God is sought in desperation, He responds".

Imagine the kind of prayers that some of the children of Israel must have prayed when they were faced with the reality of an impending destruction; the Red Sea in their front and the host of Pharaoh behind them.

The bible says;

"As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up and saw the Egyptians marching after them, and they were terrified and cried out to the LORD".
Exodus 14:10

The Psalmist said concerning the Israelites in their distress;

"Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress".
Psalm 107:6.

It is important to highlight the fact that most desperate prayers always come with a vow or promise to do something for God after the prayer must have been answered.

The story of Hannah in the bible is an example of a desperate prayer for a desperate situation.

Hannah became a subject of a consistent ridicule in the hands of Peninnah because she was barren. Hannah was very sorrowful over her situation that she became very desperate and prayed to God in Shiloh.1 Samuel 1:2-10

On a particular year, when the reproach was becoming unbearable for Hannah, she became very desperate that;

"She made a vow, saying, "LORD Almighty, if you will only look on your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head."
1 Samuel 1:11.

A promise or vow made in the course of a desperate prayer is usually done out of desperation to have the respite needed not minding how one will fulfil the vow. However before God it's a covenant that must be kept.

Meanwhile, If you have ever made a vow to God concerning any prayer which God has answered
but you are yet to fulfil your vow, I urge you to honour or redeem your vow without any further delay, for the bible says;

"When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it".
Ecclesiastes 5:4&5.

May God have mercy on some of us for delaying to fulfil our vows in Jesus name.

Children of God, on the early hours of December 12, 1992,(my Birthday) I was compelled to make a desperate prayer of which I made a vow.

Although, I believe strongly in line with the Scripture that God has destined each of us for a purpose (Jeremiah 1:5) even before we are conceived in our mother's womb, however, there are events and situations in the course of your journey in life that will usher you into the fulfilment of that destiny.

On that fateful day, we were woken up by gun shots of armed assassins as they forcefully gained entrance into our house in Poly Road Ibadan.

To cut the long story short, everyone scrambled for safety and I was left with no other option but to hide under the bed

It remains the most terrifying moments of my life till date.While I was under the bed, two of the men came inside the room and I noticed one bending his legs to check under the bed I was hiding; I immediately closed my eyes in trepidation and for the fact that I did not want to have any eye contact with any of them.

Then, I offered the most desperate prayer I have ever prayed in my life:

"Lord if you will safe me from this; I will serve you"

After all, God promised to deliver us on the day of trouble when we call on Him.
Psalm 50:15

After about six seconds, I was forced to open my eyes as I heard foot steps of the man coming closer to the bigger side of the bed as if he was coming to draw me out.

I was extremely terrified..Then he stood still for about five seconds and flipped over the mattress of the second bed in that room, scattered the wardrobe and he stormed out of the room saying to others; "there is no one here".

I was so sure the man saw me; *but God preserved my life.* Now I know why the bible says;

"He frustrated the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise".
Job 5:12.
What a God, we serve.

Hannah made a vow at Shiloh when she was desperate for a Male son saying; " I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life".* I also made a vow on that that dreadful day out of desperation to avoid untimely death. I told God I will serve Him.

In the story of Hannah the bible says after she had weaned Samuel;she took him as a little boy to Shiloh in order to redeem her vow to God and she said;

"I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD." And he worshiped the LORD there".
1 Samuel 1:27&28

Samuel served the lord all the days of his life.

As for me, as at the time I prayed the desperate prayer with a vow to serve the Lord, I had not even given my life to Jesus.

However, I can say with all sincerity of heart that, the incident led to my Salvation and by the Grace of God, I have been serving the Lord, since that time though off and on initially, but I have been growing in the Lord continually in the last decade.

I owe everything to Jesus who is still moulding and sharpening me for the great assignment He brought me into this world to accomplish for His name sake.

In the latter part of Psalm 50: 7 God says; "and you will honour Me"

Children of God,
I leave the appraisal to God and to you; His people who might have been blessed by what I do in the House of God and through His messages He has consistently put in me to share with you all over the world.

Despite the fact that some of us might have been praying over an issue for years without answers one thing is very certain in all of these, our God does answers prayers.

Your persistence in praying is very crucial. Despite delays in getting answers to our prayers, our God is still very faithful. He has promised to reward those that love Him and diligently serve Him. 1 Corinthians 2.9.

Mark my words, as the Lord lives before whom I stand, when the time of reward comes,it will be evident for all to see.

God does not renege from His promise over us, so far we do not derail from His precepts. The bible says God honours His words more than all His names. Psalm 138:2

I therefore, beseech you all not to relent in your commitment and dedication to the things of God. Make sure you are consistent and fervent in the place of prayer, for we do not have any other means to communicate with this great God apart from prayer.

Remember; "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much".
James 5:16b.

However, there is only one name given to mankind by which we must pray, that is the name of Jesus.
John 14:13.

If you are yet to yield your life to Jesus, do so now before it is too late.

In conclusion, I leave you with the promise of God for you and I in Psalm 91;

"He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him".
Psalm 91:15

Prayer:May the Lord honour you and I according to our deeds towards His work and His people in the name of Jesus. .Heb 6:10

                                JESUS IS MY ONLY SOURCE

The Psalmist wrote;

"I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth."
Psalm 121:1&2

Source can be defined as a place, person, or thing from which something originates or can be obtained.It is a body or process by which strength, energy, power or a particular component enters a system.

The question is:
"Where do you draw your power, strength and inspiration from or better put, what is your source?

An ancient Yoruba Adage says;

"A river that forgets its source will surely run dry".

When you make Jesus your source, you can be sure you will continually be filled, for He said;

“I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst".
John 6:35.

Imagine yourself drawing water from the ocean, you can be sure of the availability of the water for the ocean can never run dry.

The bible records that God sent Elijah to go hide by the Brook Cherith which was before Jordan with the promise that the ravens shall feed him and he will be drinking from the Brook.

Elijah did according to the instructions of the Lord. He dwelt by the Brook and the ravens was feeding him with bread and flesh just as God had spoken about.
1 Kings 17:3-6

Then the bible says;

"But after a while the brook dried up, for there was no rainfall anywhere in the land".
1 Kings 17:7

I pray for you; your source of livelihood will not run dry in the name of Jesus..

Our God does not forsakes His own people, that's why the Psalmist said; “Great is the Lord, who delights in the welfare of his servant!”
Psalm 35:27.

Truly, He did not forget Elijah,
hence He told him after the Brook had dried up;

“Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.”
1 King 17:9.

Children of God, not everyone can boast of enjoying such wonderful Grace of provision that Elijah enjoyed.

Apparently, one of the names of the God we serve is; Jehovah Jireh, meaning God the provider. That's why Jesus said;

"Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all"
Matthew 6:31&32

Brethren, I can testify to the fact that I have witnessed the faithfulness of this God time and time again.

One of the greatest attributes of God is that He is faithful to all His promises. To this end, the Psalmist wrote:

"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread".
Psalm 37:35.

When your God is the Comptroller General of the heaven and earth, you are not permitted to lack.

Apostle Paul, while emphasizing the faithfulness of God to providing for our needs said:

"He who did not spare his own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things?"
Romans 8:32.

Our Lord Jesus Christ said to the Samaria woman by Jacob's well;

"But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:14.

The good thing about having Jesus as one's source is that you do not have to pay for the provisions from God. It is free of charge.

That's why He said;

"If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
Psalm 50:12

Glory be to the God that owns the cattles upon a thousand hills.
He does not request for anything before He blesses us.

Jesus said;

"To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment".
Rev 21:6b.

I pray for you again; "He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness in the name of Jesus".
2 Corinthians 9:10.

What a wonderful God we serve. He does not forgets His people.

The bible says;

"Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!"
Isaiah 49:15.

It's not unusual to feel desolate sometimes but you can be sure God will show up just like He showed up for Elijah after the brook dried up and God instructed him to go to the woman of Zarephath for more provisions.

Brethren, "this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of Him".
1 John 5:14&15.

We cannot do anything without this God, the bible encourages us not to lean on our own understanding but rather to allow God to be our everlasting source that cannot dry up.

"Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty".
Zachariah 4:6

However, in order to enjoy continuous blessing; you need to be born again!.

Finally, our Lord Jesus Christ is still calling you;

“If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
John 7:37&38.

I pray for you and for myself that "My God will supply all our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus".
Phil 4:19.

                             WHERE IS YOUR INTEGRITY?

The bible says;

"Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways".
Proverbs 28:6.

According to the late British writer; C S Lewis;
"integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching".

In a nutshell, integrity is a concept of *consistency* of actions,methods principles,values, expectations and outcomes. It can be regarded as the opposite of hypocrisy.

Apostle Paul while writing about the significance of love said:

"If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing".
1 Cor 13:2.

In the same vein, permit me to say to you that;

"If I have all the riches of this world, possess wisdom like King Solomon, being respected and connected like the President of America but yet I do not have integrity; I am nothing!"

Put simply,
integrity is what we do,what we say and what we say we will do.

In the month of June 2019, I was approached in my professional capacity as a Lawyer by someone very close to me.

The integrity of the company of that close family member was at stake. His company was expected to supply some equipment to an institution in the Country and the contract papers stipulates that a particular brand must be supplied and it must be sourced from the manufacturer. However, having approached the manufacturer, they insisted, they only sell through their recognized agents and they
recommended a particular company.

To cut the long story short, the said agent supplied the equipment but decided to include a substandard one which is not a product of the said manufacturer as part of the consignment.

When the agent was confronted of his dubious and criminal act he initially denied the knowledge of such.

Hence, I wrote him a weighty letter just like Apostle Paul ( 2 Corinthians 10: 9&10) in which I highlighted the criminality in what his company did and the attendant consequences of such. I also made him realize the necessity of him putting right what was illegally done within a short time in order to avoid unnecessary embarrassment of criminal proceedings.

In the course of writing the letter, the Holy Spirit brought to my memory the proverbial saying of King Solomon;

"A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold".
Proverbs 22:1.

Children of God, the situation is so bad now that many people including believers do not see anything wrong in engaging in dubious acts.

There are not so much difference between what believers do and what is obtainable out there now. Many Christians have compromised their faith and integrity for the love of money and fame.

When you talk about business and you mention God, some will say; " This one na money matter leave God out of it!" I pray for you, may God have mercy on you and that the presence of God shall not leave you for a second in Jesus name.

When your action does not correspond with your words then you lack integrity.

How many of us leaders of this generation can say like Prophet Samuel;

"Here I am; testify against me before the LORD and before his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Or whose donkey have I taken? Or whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Or from whose hand have I taken a bribe to blind my eyes with it? Testify against me and I will restore it to you.”
1 Samuel 12:3

Consistency is the litmus test to determine who truly has integrity. I don't envy politicians especially in our dear Nation, many respected people that ventured into politics have had their reputation tainted in the process.

It will take only God and perhaps great resolve for anyone to hold a political position in Nigeria and still maintain his or her integrity.

In most cases, their story is always like;
"When you are in Rome you start behaving like Romans"

Apparently, our integrity is very important to God,that informs why God boasted about Job;
“Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil? He still holds fast his integrity, although you incited me against him to destroy him without reason.”
Job 2:3.

Integrity is about choosing your thoughts and actions based on values rather than personal gain.

King David said;
"Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity, and I have trusted in the Lord without wavering".
Psalm 26:1.

We are expected to stand out wherever we find ourselves; whether in the work place, schools, politics, business or in the Church.

Our Lord Jesus also emphasized the need for integrity when He praised Nathaniel who later became a disciple. Jesus said to him;

"Now here is a genuine son of Israel; a man of complete integrity.”
John 1:47.

It is quite scandalous to hear about corruption or lack of integrity in regards to the Judiciary, Judges and Lawyers undermining the administration of justice.

When you sell an inferior product for the price of an original, you convert property of Government to your personal use or you divert money collected for a particular thing into another project even within the Church it shows you lack integrity.

Jesus likened us to salt of the world;

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot".
Matthew 5:13.

A man that has integrity does not talk about it, the reflection and expression of his words in what he does will earn him the integrity tag.

Hence, it is very important that one should make effort to align your words with your actions, no matter how trivial the issue is; your words must match your actions.

People of integrity do not hide their opinions, they do not manipulate others through deception and deceit. They are usually very consistent in what they do.

I am always very circumspect of songs like; "everything na double double oo". How can everything be double,are you a magician? . What did you do to make it double?

Brethren, "there is dignity in labour." The bible says the Lord will bless the work of your hands.
Deut. 28:12.

Looking for freebies will make one to lose respect. It is often disturbing for me hearing people give testimonies or a preacher saying; "you will receive a big alert of money that you do not work for and is not intentionally meant for you but will be transferred into your account".

Hear me, if you by any chance receive such funds and you decide to keep quiet about it saying "Na my luck" please be informed that it is criminal!

First of all, it signifies lack of integrity on your part and secondly, you are liable to be prosecuted and if found guilty you could be imprisoned for between 7-14 years for keeping quiet or spending money that is not yours despite the fact that it was sent to your account. See section 15 of MLPA Act (2011)

Never allow your feelings or relationship with another person to compromise your integrity and make you to be easily swayed.

How and what you do to be rich might not matter to the world or the Church these days; but our God is not mocked.Your achievements and successes in life have no credibility if your integrity was compromised in the process of attaining those achievements.

If people like Job, Nathaniel, Noah can live with integrity despite the evil and corruption that characterized their generations, it is achievable for us too.

The fact that many people are stealing Government funds and are getting away with it is not an excuse for a believer to join them.

Don't be like Job's wife who said: “Do you still hold fast your integrity?
Job 2:9.

Brothers and Sisters, we must maintain our integrity in every of our dealings, for the world is looking at us.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven".
Matthew 5:16

Finally brethren,
"Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us".
Titus 2:7&8.

PRAYER; may your character portrays high level of integrity than your words in the name of Jesus.

Meanwhile, the Company that supplied the inferior product has remedied the wrong by apologizing and has delivered the original product that was paid for. Bravo!

I sign off with the words of a late American businessman & philanthropist; W. Clement Stone who said;

"Have the courage to say no. Have the courage to face the truth. Do the right thing because it is right. These are the magic keys to living your life with integrity".

By the Grace of God, you and I can do all these things and set good examples for others to emulate.

                           IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE!

Our Lord Jesus Christ said;

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear". Luke 12:22.

I was just reminiscing about life generally and I discovered that certain things that were very paramount to our lives at some stage have suddenly become irrelevant that they do not matter anymore.

I attended a burial service of a man of God lately and I was very glad I did!

Again, I saw wisdom in the word of God that says;

"It's better to go to a funeral than to attend a feast; funerals remind us that we all must die".
Ecclesiastes 7:3

While at the funeral, I learnt more about what should take priority in our lives. I was opportuned to hear about six people spoke concerning the life of the deceased. Although, it is very common in funerals that people only say good stuffs about the dead, however one thing stood out in what everyone said that day;

That the deceased was a fearless man, who doesn't mince words about what and how he feels about issues of life.

He related with people without fear or favour. He was brave, outspoken and very direct in approach.He would look at you in the face and say things the way he feels.

What I didn't hear anyone talked about was his bank accounts, numbers of cars he had, the landed properties, number of houses he built for himself, apart from the Church we were told he built for God in his village.

Many of us often chase after money, fame, possessions and things that does not matter to God or humanity.

Growing up, I must confess I had a fun filled early years in the company of my brothers back then.
Stuffs like rolling used motor tyres with two sticks, going to the river to swim and catch tiny fishes were part of our usual play time activities at the early stage of life. It was fun Indeed!

Playing football, attending Disco/ Birthday parties and going to amusement parks characterized my teenage years while at the Secondary School.

Obviously, most of those things have naturally fizzled out as one age and progress in life.

Having received the call of God, certain things we also give way, for the bible says;

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God". Romans 12:2.

Although' the popular saying;

"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" applies. However, one has to prioritize the work of God above all others and avoid unnecessary distractions from people's opinions about what you do.

My loyalty is first and foremost to my God. I make sure all I do have credence in the word of God, knowing that I will give account of my stewardship one day. Acts 5:29.

The disciples of Jesus were initially naive and laid back. Even after Jesus left, they were still hiding for fear of being killed, but a time came when all the fears of persecution and shame didn't matter to them anymore.

The same Simon Peter that denounced our Lord Jesus Christ three times for the fear of being killed suddenly started exhibiting unprecedented boldness in spreading the Gospel.

In reality, it was not an empty boldness; the disciples actually had an encounter with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2) which changed the narratives of their Ministry.

When they were asked about what authority( power) and what name they were able to heal the impotent man by the Beautiful Gate, ( Acts 3) the bible says;

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them;

"Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead". Acts 4:10.

By the Grace of God, I have come to a phase in the work of God where I refused to be intimidated, the God that sent me has consistently assured me that he will announce me to the world when the time comes. Numbers 27:18.

Although at a point, I nearly caved in to hatred, persecution and trials within the Church, the fear exhibited by family members was like a clog in the wheel of progress for the work of God. The situation was close to the depression that Elijah experienced after destroying the prophets of baal and Jezebel sent a threat message to him. 1kings 18&19.

I felt very lonely and forsaken at some point, but God showed up again; Halleluyah! He reassured me that He has not abandoned me.
All Glory belongs to our God who does not renege on His promises for us.

Trials, threat and persecution have now become a way of life, they do not matter to me anymore! I say it boldly to whoever cares to listen;

"I am not doing all of these for attention or approval neither am I doing it for financial gains" I have been sent by the Owner (Jesus) of the work.

It won't be long and all of these things will totally unfold and the journey will then make sense to everyone of us.

The bible says that when the people of Israel saw the boldness of Peter and John they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13.

Children of God, hatred, persecution and trials cannot stop a man on a mission for God. The Holy Spirit is already at work in the life of such person just as He did with the disciples.

It reminds me of that song by Pastor Wale Adenuga and David Baroni.

"Your foes will one day bow before Your throne
And on that day they will declare You as King
It does not matter what they say or do now as for me I will praise You Lord..

In the midst of all the confrontation against Peter and John, the bible mentioned a man called Gamaliel; a doctor of the law who said:

"Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail.But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God."
Acts 5: 38&39.

I have spoken again.....

"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches."
Revelation 2:29.

Brethren, I don't know about you but for me; all the cares of this world do not impress me or matter anymore, what has taken the centre stage of my life is my connection with this Jesus and His work before me.

When Jesus went to the house of Martha who had a sister called Mary something happened there.
Luke 10:38.

Martha, according to the story became so busy preparing food for the visit, while her sister sat at the feet of Jesus.

Then Martha felt abandoned in the kitchen that she went to Jesus and complained;

"Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!" Luke 10 40.

Jesus responded with one of the amazing responses;

"Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things,There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”
Luke 10:41&42.

Invariably, what should take priority in the life of a believer is our relationship with Jesus. But it appears we have often put the "cart before the horse".

That explains why Jesus said;

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you".
Matthew 6:33.

If you are yet to give your life to Jesus and prioritize Him by doing what matters most, the time is now. Accept Him before it will be too late.

Remember, "after all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it".
1 Timothy 6:7.

In conclusion, I beseech you all to;

"flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart".
2 Timothy 2:22.

Prayer: The Lord Almighty will grant us the Grace to prioritize Him in everything that we do in the name of Jesus.

Cherish a relationship with Jesus and pursue it vigorously with holiness.
When you get connected with Him please do not let go just like Simon Peter said to Jesus;

“Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life",
John 6:68.

                               JESUS HATES HYPOCRISY!

Our Lord Jesus Christ said:

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?
Luke 6:46.

Hypocrisy can be defined as blatant failure to follow one's own expressed moral rules and principles. It is a lifestyle filled with so much pretence..

How did I know Jesus hates hypocrisy?

The bible says;
"Whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin". James 4:17.

Hypocrisy is knowing the truth but choosing to say otherwise! After Cain killed Abel God asked him about the whereabouts of his brother, he replied;
"I don't know "am I my brother's keeper ". Genesis 4:9.
He evaded the truth!

The book of *Matthew chapter 23* was dedicated for the teaching of Jesus about hypocrisy of the Scribes and the Pharisees. Jesus rebuked them for their lip service.

A popular Politician from Kaduna State, made a statement while alleging the Government of hypocrisy (paraphrased);

" Insecticide is being used on certain set of people while deodorants is used on some other people that commit similar offences"

As Christians, we are expected to live above board. Truth must be spoken at all times irrespective of our affiliations or positions.

It is pure hypocrisy when we pick and choose what matter we lend our voices on.

When a woman alleged that a Pastor raped her twenty years ago many people rise up to lend support for her. They wanted justice to be done at all cost.

Meanwhile, another person alleged that a Pastor assaulted him. The same set of people that castigated the
alleged act against the woman started preaching mercy, unforgiveness and bitterness.How can you rationalize your support for someone you have never met in your life but you chose to discontenance the claim of someone you have known for many years.

There is no other word to describe it, it is called hypocrisy.

The popular saying is;

"What is good for the goose is good for the gander".

The word; "sorry" is meant for everyone
but arrogance and pride really sucks!

Sometimes we forget that the same blood that runs in the veins of a pastor runs in the veins of a celebrity and also in the vein of the perceived ordinary man and woman.

The word of God is very clear; "Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy".
Proverbs 28:13.

A woman who held a biased impression about me for many years saw me few years ago after about ten years and said to me; "Niyi, I am sorry.. forgive me!
Today, I hold her in high esteem for her penitence and sincerity.

There is no big deal in anyone owing up to the wrong done. Just as Jesus taught us to reconcile with our accusers; Luke 12:58

I was in a meeting lately and as usual the minutes of the last meeting was read, however with a glaring omission of an important issue I raised which was discussed in the previous meeting.

The chairperson of the meeting asked if anybody has an objection to the minutes read before we proceed to adopt it.

I deliberately waited for few seconds and when it was obvious no one was going to raise any objection I interjected and asked the people seated if anybody could confirm that I raised a particular issue in the last meeting.The seemingly youngest person among us quickly said; "Yes I remember" thereafter, there was a sudden silence and I had to be turning around to look into the eyes of those people that spoke when the issue was raised, surprising; many could not look straight again. Eventually, someone seated beside me finally said: "I remember". That was after I gave him a close look.

At that point,I asked that we proceed having remembered the words of God as spoken by Apostle Paul;

"..In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established".
2 Corinthians 13:1

Children of God, I have seen high level of hypocrisy, cover ups have become a normal lifestyle and evil manipulating spirit have caged many away from the truth. It is very worrisome.

All of these are the major bane that have brought embarrassment to the Body of Christ in Nigeria lately.

The truth is bitter as they say, but for children of God, it must be told.

Hypocrisy is not of God. I prefer the enemy that will look at one in the face and say;
"Watch your back" than the hypocrite that will smile at you yet his heart is full of hatred and envy.

Despite the uncertainty of where the truth lies there is always a witness,an accuser who is so powerful to convict anybody, but unfortunately does not have a voice. It is called conscience . You can smile or keep a bold face, inside of you lies the real position of things.

One of the world's greatest Philosophers of all times, Plato said;

"No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth".

I believe him totally for our Lord Jesus also said;
"You will be hated by all for my name’s sake".
Luke 21:17.

When you say the truth these days, even in the house of God, you will be labelled as one that judges others. Then the assailant or the culprit will start seeking people's sympathy by acting like the victim when they are confronted with their abusive behaviour. It is so pathetic!

Yet, we are fond of telling our children;

"Say the truth and let the devil be ashamed". It is pure hypocrisy.
Many of us say what we do not practice, just like the Pharisees and Scribes.
Matthew 23:3

Our Lord Jesus demonstrated to us the importance of allowing people to defend or fight for themselves when allegations are made against them. Jesus berated Simon Peter for using sword against one of the soldiers sent to arrest him.
Matthew 26:50-56.

Please allow every accused person to defend himself. Meanwhile, the allegation is against the fellow accused of offence and not the Church of God!

In Law, when an issue like this arises against a company, there will be a need to lift the veil of incorporation.

A pastor is not above the law of a nation, neither does he enjoys immunity against the law of God.
Mark 12:17.

If the court of law cannot unravel the truth about every allegation made, remember our God is "the Revealer of secrets"
Daniel 2:47.

The bible says;
"Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account".
Hebrews 4:13.

The Yoruba people will say;

"Asegbe Kan osi, ase pamo lowa".

Meaning; actions may be covered up, but cannot be carried out with impunity, it will be unveiled sooner or later.

Meanwhile, a man of God should be like a role model who practice what he preaches.
There has to be some level of consistency in the way you do things.
You cannot preach; ''In quietness and in confidence shall be you strength.." Isaiah 30:15, yet you find it difficult to bridle your tongue and the next time it is "woe to the destroyer.." Isaiah 33:1

Remember you have people looking up to you, don't mislead them.
That's why Apostle Paul wrote;

"Avoid pointless discussions. People who pay attention to these pointless discussions will become more ungodly
2 Timothy 2:16.

A believer should not allow his lips and his life to preach two different messages.

God says;
"No one who practices deceit shall dwell in My house; no one who utters lies shall continue before My Eyes".
Psalm 101:7.

Children of God are expected to be very careful about who we open up to. Avoid gossips who tell you what others say behind you. However, you should be bothered about why other people feel comfortable telling that person stuffs about you. If you are the observant type, you will know that the person is also an hypocrite.

My Brothers and Sisters of the household of faith;
"If we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth"
1 John 1:6

It is imperative that we stand only with the Truth(Jesus) at all times. We are children of light and the world is looking up to us for direction.
1 Peter 2:9

I say to you, "Put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander".
1Peter 2:1.

Finally, if you love God and desire to see some level of sanity and that the sanctity of the Church to be restored please pray these two prayers with me.

First and foremost, Father; your words say "you stripped the rulers and authorities of their power and made a public spectacle (Shame) of them.." Colossians 2:15.
In the same manner, any Pastor who has or is using the position to abuse others without any form of remorse should the exposed and disgraced in the name of Jesus.

Secondly, anybody whether "celebrity or ordinary" making spurious (false) allegations against a Pastor with an attempt to blackmail or bring him down should face the attendant consequences in Jesus name.

So shall it be, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

                                   SALVATION IS FREE!!!

The bible says:

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast".
Ephesians 2:8&9.

Brethren, I have been having a close study of the Ministry of our Lord Jesus and that of the Disciples with the aim of treading carefully and doing the work of God in accordance with the Scriptures.

Some of the things being done in our Churches today are merely practises and precedents that do not have legitimacy in the word of God.

The bible makes us to understand that salvation is free and that our lord Jesus Christ paid the full price of Salvation with His precious blood on the cross of Calvary;

"God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us".
Roman's 5:8.

Growing up as a boy, I was inspired hence I made up my mind early enough to get a University degree as a result of the kind of honour and attention shown to my Uncle whenever he comes home from the University of Ibadan back then.

After all; the famous Yoruba adage says:

"The horse behind looks at the one in front for direction".

Similarly, I have
applied the same principle in my journey of the work of God. I draw my strength and inspiration from my Lord Jesus Christ and Apostle Paul who was the least but committed disciple of Jesus.

The insatiable passion for souls and dedication of men of God like the late Billy Graham and that of our very own Pastor E A Adeboye have been helpful and worth emulating indeed.

However, a famous Yoruba adage says;
"The death that is killing one's mates or contemporaries is a strong warning to one".
Meaning the kind of issues that are causing your mates to fall are strong indications that you need to be very careful too!

My conclusion about work of God as a result of issues affecting younger generation of men of God in recent times is; "know yourself and your God!

Only God knows who is on His side. 2 Timothy 2:19.

One needs to be praying regularly for pastors in order for them to live what they preach.

Not many Church leaders today can genuinely say as Apostle Paul said;

"Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ".
1 Corinthians 11:1.

With all due respect to Church leaders in our country today, I strongly believe that materialism of the present church has taken away the core values and contentment lifestyle the Disciples of old lived.

I went for a four-day Prayer programme in a "popular Church" in Abuja about six years ago.

I had missed the first two days and on the third day, I decided to fast as I had been praying with huge expectation of having an encounter with God. I was hoping that, perhaps the man of God would mention my case.

I was Indeed very expectant!
However, by the time I got to the Church, the place was already filled up and I couldn't get space in the main Church but got a seat directly under the canopy outside the Church.

Then I heard an announcement that brought down the excitement and the expectation that had filled my heart while worshiping God during the praise and worship session.

The announcer said specifically that the service of that day was only meant for those people who have come with Seed of Five Hundred Thousand Naira for healing, breakthrough prayers and Impactation for blessing etc.

Children of God, like few others, I left the venue when the announcement was being repeated.I went home disappointed but with a resolve in my heart to follow this Jesus directly without going after anybody to access Him.

After all, our Lord Jesus did not put any condition to seeing Him. He said;

“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest".
Matthew 11:28.

The story of Apostle Paul as recorded in Acts 9, that of Prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1 and the famous story of Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:9&10) are just few cases that have proven that you can contact the power of God or access this God directly.
John 4:23.

If the paralytic man that was let down from the roof top by his friends (Luke 5:17-26) had lived in this era, perhaps he would have died without getting healed for no one who have given him any attention or show any form of compassion to his plight.

God gave us our Lord Jesus Christ freely as a symbol of Salvation for everyone who believes in Him to be saved.
John 3:16.

In the same vein, the power to heal the sick, power to set free and do the work of God are equally granted to us by God free of charge.

The bible says;

"Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness".
Matthew 10:1.

Apparently, money cannot buy the power of God. Jesus did not trade the power He received from God the Father (Acts 10:38) .

He gave the Disciples the same power without asking for a dime;

"Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give"
Matthew 10:8.

A man called Simon offered the disciples money in exchange of the Power of the Holy Spirit. Acts 8:17 .
but Simon Peter rebuked him;

"May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!"
Acts 8:20.

It is important for everyone doing the work of God to follow Apostle Paul's laid down instruction.

"But godliness with contentment is great gain".

An extensive meditation of what Apostle Paul wrote down in 1 Timothy 6: 1-21. will be very handy for anyone planning to excel in the work of God.

If there are boxes to be ticked, in order to be sure that we have not deviated from the teachings of the bible then we must digest the above scriptures and allow them to shape our ways of life, especially in doing the work of God.

My major concern in the work of God is usually towards the parishioners. Many of whom are very gullible. They do not make up time to study the word of God, like the berean Christians ( Acts 17) who received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily.

Most Christians of this generation only rely on:

"My Pastor said, my Pastor said"

My experience so far in doing the work of God has placed obligation on me to share the Scriptures with many people out there that are still under the evil manipulation of some wolves behind the pulpit.

Again, the words of our Lord Jesus to the woman of Samaria in John 4 are very applicable here;

"The time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem.
John 4:21

The practise of going from one Church to another and engaging in spiritual prostitution (Going from one Church to cult or shrines) in search of quick answer or solution should be totally avoided.

I tell you for a certainty; "No one can receive anything unless it has been given to him from heaven".
John 3:27.

All true men of God derive their power from God and no one has the power of His own.

Consequently, you too can contact this power directly from God without having to go to any man to lay hand on your head which is the engine room of your destiny.

I can share my personal experience with you on that. Be very mindful of who you allow to touch your head.

My painful experience with a pastor who hit my head maliciously under the guise of anointing people's heads has taught me a great lesson.

Although,the fellow later faced the consequences as I reported him to my God that sent me on errands and I cried before my Maker for vengeance.

Soon after, the Defender of the defenseless dealt with him. The man is carrying a big scar about on that hand up till now.

As the Lord lives before whom I stand, their evil deeds will continue to hunt them in the name of Jesus.

Anyone place in position of authority should not take undue advantage of such position to abuse or mistreat others.

Brethren, there is no other solution elsewhere other than the name of JESUS.

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."
Acts 4:12.

If you are yet to give your life for Jesus, do so now before it is too late.

Finally, "beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world".
1 John 4:1.

Prayer : Father expose and disgrace every agent of darkness operating in the Church of God, irrespective of their positions in Jesus name. .

Meanwhile, salvation is still very free, for our God has not changed.
Hebrews 13:8

                                FOLLOW YOUR PASSION!

Our Lord Jesus Christ said:

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also".
Matthew 6:21.

Few days ago, I attended a meeting of Ministers in the vineyard of God and in the course of the meeting someone was expressing her displeasure about issues in the department she works in the Church.

The person stated she has not been able to optimize her potentials in the department, hence she was soliciting for approval to go to a department in which she has stronger interest.

Suddenly, the Holy Spirit spoke to me: " Where her passion lies is important" Then I interrupted the meeting almost immediately to convey the message, though in a very subtle way.

Passion can be defined as a feeling of intense zeal or a compelling desire of someone to do something.

Passion is like a catalyst or oxygen to the soul.It comes with Joy and it materializes into action.

When you find yourself doing what you have passion for, the work becomes easier especially when you have knowledge of that thing.1 Timothy 3:1-13.

Apostle Paul wrote concerning the Israelites;

"For I bear them witness that they have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge".
Romans 10:2.

You will not need to be cajoled or coerced to doing things that you have passion for. It will naturally becomes part and parcel of you.

Brethren, if you are not happy where you are working, there is no point in doing it for you are not likely to add value or impact the place nor the people in anyway.

The late English novelist: E M Foster said:

"One person with passion is better than forty people who are merely interested".

The practise and manner in which some Churches ordain people with or without Call of God is disturbing! Perhaps that informs the reasons behind the high rate of scandals and atrocities linked with some "men and women of God" lately.

Ideally, Pastoral work is not for everybody!
If you do not have a genuine Call of God upon your life and you have been ordained a Pastor, you *may* be labouring in vain, notwithstanding the oil poured on your head and the perceived success in Ministry. Matthew 7:21-23.

God said to Moses;
“Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him".
Numbers 27:18.

The pouring of anointing oil only affirms the original Call of God. God told Elijah to anoint Elisha who God has set aside for the role. (1kings 19:16) God also told Samuel to anoint David; a Man after God's heart (Passionate about God and His work) .1 Sam 16:1

I also enjoin every parent who insist that their children must do what they want to please refrain from the practise. Every child has a destiny to fulfil and parents are merely to guide them to locate their purpose in order to fulfill destiny.

It is worth knowing that Bill Gates, the billionaire founder of Microsoft gained admission into the prestigious Harvard University in 1973 to study Law, having been influenced by his father who was a Lawyer.

However after two years at the university,Bill Gates dropped out and followed his passion for Software and in April 1975 Bill Gates founded Microsoft, the rest is history today.

However, his story does not in anyway undermine the importance of a university degree. In 2007, Bill Gates was awarded an honorary degree in the same university (Havard) and while making acceptance remark he said;

"Although I dropped out of college and got lucky pursuing a career in software, getting a degree is a much surer path to success".

As for me, I can do all things through Christ Jesus who is my Treasure. By His Grace, I have become so very committed and increasingly passionate about the work of God;

"I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the LORD. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God".
Psalm 84:2.

Creating time for what you have passion for will not be difficult in anyway, with time it will become a daily routine for you.

following your passion is the key to unlocking your destiny. if you are not getting any sort of fulfilment in what you are doing, then it might be necessary for you to look inward to identify where your passion lies.

King David said to God at some point;

"Passion for your house has consumed me, and the insults of those who insult you have fallen on me". Psalm 69:9.

Passion gives you the motivation to keep trying even after you must have failed time and time again.

Nehemiah heard the news of the condition of the Jews; the broken walls and gates of Jerusalem that were destroyed by fire.
Nehemiah 1:4

Nehemiah had a burning passion inside of him to rebuild the walls and the gates of Jerusalem, however he was confronted with serious opposition. Nevertheless, he prevailed because God saw the genuineness of his motive.
Nehemiah 1,2,3 &4

According to the American Pastor; TD Jakes;

"If you can't figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you right into your purpose".

Jesus was twelve years old, when his parents came to a festival, according to the custom and after the festival was over, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, unknown to Joseph and Mary.
Luke 2:42&43.

Consequently, a panic search for triggered for Jesus as the parents had to returned to Jerusalem. Eventually after three days He was found at the temple.

When they told Jesus how they have been searching for him for three days Jesus responded;

“But why did you need to search?” he asked. “Didn’t you know that I must be in my Father’s house?”
Luke 2:49.

In other words, even as a boy, our Lord Jesus had already developed a strong passion for the work of God.

How about you and I, do we prioritize the work of God?

"As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, O God".
Psalm 42:1

In conclusion, the bible says;

"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness...,"
Matthew 6:33.

If there is anything you must have passion for in this life, it has to be soul winning!

All the riches of this world with titles and positions will all perish at the end, but the only thing that has eternal value and consequences is souls winning.

That's why our Churches should concentrate more in ensuring that the congregants are born again and not just Church attendees.

Be a passionate soul winner and you can be sure the Host of heaven will be rejoicing over your life.
Luke 15:7 .

My prayer is that God should destroy every blockage; whether physical or spiritual to the path and advancement of my destiny and that of everyone reading this message in the name of Jesus.

                                 THE TRUTH WILL EMERGE!

Children of God, in the midst of all these hullabaloo trending now, the word of God stands out;

"You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness".
Exodus 23:1.

When a deed was allegedly committed between two people without any witness, I honestly do not understand the rationale behind all these; "# IstandbyP.. & # IstandbyB..." They appear very evil to me!

This is not a matter of "an injustice to one is an injustice to all" for no one witnessed the alleged evil.

The bible says;

"The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Jeremiah 17:9.

Where lies the truth in all of these?

Unfortunately, we live in a country where our politicians are never reliable, the Judiciary has been tainted and the Church has failed.

However, the Psalmist said;
"Would not God discover this? For He knows the secrets of the heart"
Psalm 44:21.

It is most unfortunate that the Church of God and the name of our Holy God are being dragged into evil stuffs.

I don't care who the fellow is, anyone using the name of God and His Church as a shield to perpetuate evil is gradually awaiting the wrath of God.

Although, I do not forclose the option of seeking justice through the court of law perhaps anything credible might emerge from it.

One thing is common to this kind of stories in this country; very soon it will fizzle out without anything coming out of it despite the initial outrage generated.

My own grouse is that, stories of one evil or the other against men behind the pulpit are becoming very rampant in our Nation and they are casting aspersions to the Body of Christ in general.

They all give credence to the discussion that; all is not well with the Church of God as it is in Nigeria at the moment.

There is need for every true child of God to condemn any unholy act. Although, not by taking sides, but rather to distance oneself from all of these evil trending.

"Abstain from every form of evil".
I Thessalonians 5:22

Obviously, this is not what our Lord Jesus envisaged when He instituted His Church.

However, the truth cannot be suppressed for long, you may hide it for a while but it will pop up again!

In the midst of every controversy lies the Truth!

JESUS is the Truth.

He said;
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".
John 14:6.

Jesus Christ is the answer. He went further;

"For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light".
Luke 8:17.

Enough is Enough, when a matter is becoming very repetitive against the men behind the pulpit, it is an indication that the Church has failed.

Our God does not fail. Yield your life to Jesus today.

He is about to reform and rescue His Church. He is going to unveil, expose and disgrace those people using His name and His Church to perpetuate their evil deeds.

Hear the warning;

“I called you so often, but you wouldn’t come. I reached out to you, but you paid no attention.You ignored my advice and rejected the correction I offered.So I will laugh when you are in trouble! I will mock you when disaster overtakes you".
Proverbs 1:24-26.

For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil in the name of Jesus.

It won't be long!

                                   REJOICE WITH ME!

The bible records that our Lord Jesus Christ sent out the seventy two disciples to evangelize;

"The seventy-two returned with joy and said, "Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name."
Luke 10:17.

Surprisingly, Jesus responded to them;

"Do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."
Luke 10:20.

Brothers and Sisters, with joy in my heart and by inspiration of the Holy Spirit I write you this message.

Rejoicing is something that comes from within.
I don't know about you, the joy of being connected with This Jesus is overwhelming;I am loving it!

Relying on the account of the above Scripture as regards the disciples, their joy sprang up as a result of the manifest effect of the name of Jesus.

Personally, I can relate with them so much.. Knowing Jesus or being connected to Jesus brings Joy without borders.

After my unforgettable and remarkable encounter with my Lord Jesus Christ which lunched me into the work of God, I can say it boldly anywhere that knowing Jesus takes one to cloud nine of rejoicing.

My joy is not predicated upon any particular breakthrough or landmark achievement of any sort. Rather my joy is derived firstly from the uncontrollable joy of salvation which is still flowing inside of me.

Secondly, being privileged to be running errands for Jesus gladens my heart so much. I feel absolutely fulfilled whenever Jesus puts His words in me to share to the world at large.

Above all, I derive so much Joy in proclaiming the name of Jesus everywhere I find myself and also in creating the awareness of His Second Coming;

"I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.."
Romans 1:16.

I have never been happier in my entire life!

That's why I say to Jesus; "You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine". Psalm 4:7.

Glory be to God Almighty for His unfailing love towards me and my family. "The Joy of the Lord is my strength".Nehemiah 8:10.

There are many instances of people who experienced absolute joy for knowing Jesus.

When Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus came to full realization of the Glory of God in her womb, she said;

"My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour".
Luke 1 :46&47.

The wise men saw the star of Jesus and the bible says;

"They rejoiced exceedingly with great joy".
Matthew 2:10.

The joy of salvation is one thing, then the joy that comes after an encounter with Jesus is something else.

I pray for you; may you have an encounter with This Jesus!

The story of the woman by Jacob's Well is very instructive about *the contagious effect of knowing Jesus. John 4 .

The bible says after Jesus revealed Himself to the woman, she left her waterpot and ran into the City telling all men;

"Come see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?"
John 4:29.

It is important to note that joy is different from Happiness; which is usually triggered as a result of an external factor or thing, but Joy is like a fountain of water springing up from the inside.

The bible says;
"A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones".
Proverbs 17:22

Kind David was referred to as a man after God's heart. He loved God and he was always willing to proclaim it.

David wrote;
"I rejoiced when they said unto me: 'Let us go unto the house of the LORD."
Psalm 122:1.

He understood the adverse effect of not being in the presence of God. Hence when he sinned he cried to God and said;

"Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit".
Psalm 51:12

It does not matter what tribulation, trials, persecution you are going through now, I am sure it cannot be compared to what Jesus and the disciples went through for you and I.

The bible says;

"Rejoice as you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may also rejoice with great joy when His Glory is revealed".
1 Peter 4:13.

Even in the face of persecution against Paul and Barnabas, when the Jews expelled them out their coast, the bible says;

"The disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Ghost".

In like manner, I enjoin you all to; "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice".
Phillippians 4:4.

If you are yet to give your life to Jesus, I wish to announce to you that you are missing a lot.

Money cannot buy the Joy that comes from being connected to Jesus. Please come taste This Jesus and you won't want to let go again.

Meanwhile, let me chip in a word of caution ;giving your life to Jesus does not grant you immunity from affliction, trials and challenges of life. However, it serves like an insurance or assurance that the Lord will deliver you. Psalm 34:19

That's why Jesus said:

"In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world".
John 16:33.

The question is how can one be rejoicing in the midst of adversity?

The bible says in Habakkuk 3:17;

"Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive may fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls". Meaning, even when nothing seems to be working again, I mean: when it appears things have fallen apart;

"Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Saviour".

For some of us we have gotten to the point of no return. Come rain come shine,it has to be Jesus all the way!

I have decided to follow Jesus x3
No turning back x2.

In conclusion, If you are a soul winner you can be sure your name has been written in heaven just like Jesus told his disciples. I therefore beseech you in the name of the Lord to continue in that stride;

"Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Rejoicing in hope, being patient in tribulation, being constant in prayer,
Romans 12:12&12.

The Joy of the Lord shall continue to be our strength. Sorrow shall be far from you and I & every member of our families in Jesus Mighty name. .

                          IT'S NOT BY TITLE BUT SERVICE!

The bible says;

"For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for His name in serving the saints, as you still do".
Heb 6:10

One major bane or undoing of this generation is the obvious lackadaisical attitude to service. Many people like the titles, money and of course the privileges attached to the position they occupy, but very few people are interested in rendering the requisite service expected of them.

We often blame the public sector for low productivity and lack of commitment while in reality, there isn't much difference between what you get in public institutions and what you see in the private sector in recent times.

Consequently, the Church of God has not been left out either. I went to a suburb in Abuja to see a brother recently and I was surprised at the alarming number of Churches in that neighbourhood.

I counted about ten different Churches in a street not longer than sixty meters and I began to ask myself whether the high number of Churches is an indication of wide spread of Gospel, then the Holy Spirit spoke;" No, it is just the reality of an unending greed for title, position and money among the people"

Everybody wants to be in charge but very few are interested in service. Majority in the Body of Christ today love the appellation, the titles, positions and the privileges in the Church so much just like the Scribes and the Pharisees.

However,they rearly have time for service yet they have not deemed it fit to relinquish the titles and positions they received as a result of their connection to the Church of God.

An ancient Yoruba adage says;
"If the trap refuses to catch the rat, then the bait should be returned to the owner"..

Meaning: Since you are not functioning in accordance with the duties expected of that office, title and position, you do not have any moral justification to hold on to the appellation. Simple relinquish it!

The work of God is not about titles and wearing suits & ties or putting on big hat, it is simply about service and availability for work, I mean doing good works. Read the story of Tabitha in Acts 9: 36-42 and Abigail in 1 Samuel 25.

"God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another".
1 Peter 4:10.

Your ordination in the Church is not for showmanship, but essentially for service .

That's why Jesus said;
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed".
Luke 4:18.

Titles and positions are not bad but they come with huge expectations & responsibilities.
Brethren, if you are not willing to take up responsibilities attached to your title and position in the Church of God, it is better not to be part of it than to get the title and yet refuse to function.

"Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the Church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly".
James 3:1

Growing up in the ancient city of Ibadan, one of the favourite music that endeared me to the work of God is a Yoruba song by Evangelist; Funmi Aragbaiye which is translated to mean;

The Kingdom of God is at hand, people should repent; for the Judge of the world (Jesus) is coming back to ask you how you lived your life?

Are you a Pastor? your primary duties are Praying for the Church, feeding the sheep" (John 21:15-17) ; with the word of God, ensuring people under you have repented and have giving their lives to Jesus, anchoring their baptism by immersion; which is a necessity for every new convert,
just like John The Baptist did in awaiting the first coming of Jesus.

Pastors are also responsible for preparing souls for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

"The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task.Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,
1 Tim 3:1-2.

When you fail in these primary assignments, you cannot use your commitment in other areas to cover up.

It is very disgraceful how some men of God have suddenly turned to building Contractors, Fund raising experts, while the parishioners are scattered and being starved of the undiluted word of God.

"Just as shepherds watch over their sheep, you must watch over everyone God has placed in your care. Do it willingly in order to please God and not simply because you think you must. Let it be something you want to do, instead of something you do merely to make money".
1 Peter 5:2.

Are you a Minister of the Gospel, Deacon and Deaconess; your service in the Body of Christ is very important to God. 1 Timothy 3:1-16.

Your title is of no value whatsoever to God. Leadership is not about position or titles. It's rather about service and leading by example. colossians 3:23

Cornelius was not part of the Church hierarchy yet he was serving humanity to the extent that his deeds attracted the attention of God. Acts 10

An Angel spoke to him in a vision;
"Your prayers and gifts to the poor have ascended as a memorial offering before God". Acts 10:4

When Simon Peter heard his testimony he said;

"Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons. In every nation He accepts those who fear Him and do what is right".
Acts 10:34&35

Consistency is very important in our service to God and humanity. Many believers blow hot for some time and go quiet later.

Jesus says;
"No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God." Luke 9:62.

Many people have given their lives to Jesus years back and yet there are no obvious manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit in them.

Apostle Peter said;
"Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation".
I Peter 2:2

The question is are you growing in your salvation and in your service to God and Humanity?

In conclusion, be the leader that people will follow voluntarily as a result of your commitment to service whether with or without title.

"Therefore, my beloved Brothers and Sisters be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain".
1 Cor 15:58

The Church needs urgent reformation, if you love God and His work spread this message!

                                 START WHERE YOU ARE!

The word of the Lord came to me;

"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin.."
Zachariah 4:10.

Similarly, the famous Chinese proverb says:

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”

Everyone likes the finished product, but not many want to go through the process required to have the finish product.

Without doubt, every big thing we see in life has a small beginning. After all, we all went through infancy to teenage years until we became adults. In the same vein, the journey to stardom is never an instant one, rather it takes gradual processes.

"Rome was not built in a day".
Short cuts, often have grave repercussions in life. What short cuts means is that you skip some stages or levels that you were meant to take.

Our Lord Jesus Christ told us about the parable of the talents.

Of a significant reference for this message is the servant the master gave one talent;

"But the servant who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master’s money.

When the master returned he commended the two servants he gave five and two talents, for they both invested their talents and they have increased them by five and two talents respectively.

However, the servant with the one talent was rebuked by the master;

"You wicked and slothful servant!
Matthew 25:26.

What is very instructive about the parable is that, Jesus spent more time talking about the servant that was given a single talent more than He did for the others put together.

It further gives credence to the expectation of God concerning us. God wants us to start small, then grow and increase with time.

The bible says;

"Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. ,
Job 8:7

I don't know who this message is meant for, but I am highly convinced in my Spirit that this message will inspire someone to greatness.

The disciples began gathering together; praying and studying the word at the upper room.

Gradually, the upper room could not contain them anymore.The bible has it recorded that when Simon Peter preached their first message after the Impactation of the Holy Spirit at the upper room on the day of Pentecost;

"Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day"
Acts 2:41.

Soon after, the number grew again to about five thousand men.
Acts 4:4.

What a supernatural progression!I claim that for myself in Jesus name..

It does not matter how many people are ahead of you now. Seniority is not a criterion before our God. See 1 Sam16 , Judges 6. Gen 37-50, 1 Sam 2:8, 1 Cor 1:27.

Meanwhile, as you progress in your chosen vocation or dream, be mindful of two sets of people you will definitely encounter.

The first set of people that you will be confronted with are the doubters or the sceptics.They are people who usually exercise fear or pessimism about your dream.

They just wouldn't see that dream metamorphosing into something great. They are very myopic. It is as far as their eyes can see!

Although such people meant good for you, but perhaps out of their care or concerns for your safety, they will do and say things that might make you to lose confidence in fulfilling your potentials.

Usually, they are your close relatives & friends. David; a teenager wanted to fight Goliath but was confronted by his eldest brother; Eliab.

"But when David’s eldest brother; Eliab, heard David talking to the men, he was angry. “What are you doing around here anyway?” he demanded. “What about those few sheep you’re supposed to be taking care of? I know about your pride and deceit. You just want to see the battle!”
1 Samuel 17:28.

Thank God David was adamant. He fought Goliath, the rest is history today.
1 Samuel :17

About two decades ago, a relatively unknown young man in his forties surprisingly made known his intention to become the executive Governor of his State. He happened to be someone close to one of my siblings.

To many of his contemporaries, they saw his ambition as a "tall order" that can never see the light of the day.

However,this man defied all odds and he became the Executive Governor of his state not once but twice thereafter.
"Anything can happen when God is involved".

The second set of people you should be wary of are the real dream killers; oppositions and haters.

I mean people like Herod, king Saul, Haman, Sanballat,Tobiah, Geshem, the old prophet mentioned in the book of 1 Kings 13 and their likes.

This set of people have one agenda;
"The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy.."
John 10:10.

You will not need the Spirit of discernment to know they are very dangerous. They are agents of the devil.

They wont have any issue with you so far you are not doing anything spectacular. Their true colour and hatred will be triggered when you started manifesting your potentials for greatness.They
don't want anyone to rise beyond them, hence they will do everything to kill! Be warned..

However, you will have to be strong and courageous.
Joshua 1:8.
Boldness in the Lord has to be your way of life. Just like Peter and John Acts 4: 13. You cannot withstand these ones without being connected to Jesus.

They could be very relentless in their bid to kill dreams and destinies, but they never end well..
Should you know anybody like that: pray for him/her and caution him very very well if possible!

They are in your neighbourhood. offices, schools business environment, religious circles and very common in the Church.

PRAYER: In the name of the One (Jesus) that called me, anyone with an agenda to kill your destiny will end up like king Saul in Jesus name. .

In conclusion, the bible says;

"The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also complete it".

I pray for you again, if there is anything that you set your mind to do that is holy and legitimate ( incorruptible) go for it and you will receive the backing of the Almighty God in Jesus name. .

However, the one that expects the backing of an Holy God must also strive to be holy and be obedient.
The "young man of God" in I kings 13 died as a result of disobedience.

Stay away from sin, obey God rather men. Acts 5;29 and you will see your dreams and destiny coming to fruition.

I am confident of this; that He who began a good work in you and I, will bring it to completion in Jesus name. .
Phil 1:6.

                               JESUS:THE GRACE OF GOD!

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people".
Titus 2:11

One of the most popular words in the Christendom today is Grace.

Many of us cannot go through a day without mentioning the word: Grace. We have come to the realization that on our own we can do nothing!

Meanwhile, who or what is this Grace?

After my last message (The Sky is Wide Enough), I beg your pardon; I meant to say after the last message Jesus used me to prepare, I decided to respond to some of the feedback I had received from people who were blessed and felt inspired by the word of God.

Then,I read through the content of the picture released, which says;
"The sky is wide enough and I am confident that by the Grace of God I will excel in the name of Jesus"

Then, God giggled at me! I inquired in my Spirit man and God said; it is tautology: this is an expression or phrase that says the same thing twice.

Then, I became very curious. As I was trying to unravel the repetition in the sentence or where I used one word twice, my Lord Jesus said; " ' Am I not the Grace of God!"

Soon after, the Spirit of God directed me to the the memory verse which say;

"For the Grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people".
Titus 2:11

Meaning,Jesus had appeared to make salvation available to all people.

Children of God, at that point I said to myself; "what do I know besides the stuffs that Jesus brings to my attention"? All Glory belongs to this Jesus. I take a bow once again!

Apostle Paul said;

"But by the Grace of God, I am what I am, and His Grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the Grace of God that is with me".
1 Corinthians15:10.

The book of Acts of Apostles gives us clear records of how Apostle Paul became a disciple of Jesus ,as a result of his encounter with our Lord Jesus on the way to Damascus. Acts 9:1-31

In other words, Apostle Paul recognized the fact that the presence of Jesus in him was what enabled him to accomplish all that he did though he was hard working.

Apparently, the word Grace in some bible verses was used to refer to our Lord Jesus while in some other cases Grace is used as the manifest power or enablement that makes one to be able to do things that your natural knowledge and strength wouldn't have offered you.

In most cases, if you remove the word Grace and substitute it with Jesus the sentence would still have delivered the intended revelation.

Many people today including believers are fond of making empty promises and planning their itinerary without including the phrase;

"By the Grace of God or by God's Grace"

You will hear people say stuffs like; "I will be in Dubai for vacation next week, from there to Texas then stop by in Dublin, there after I will see my family in Manchester then return to Nigeria".

Forgetting that some people made plans for an hour journey but they never lived to see the next hour there after.

When you leave "The Grace of God" out of your plan; you are simply saying you will be fine without Jesus!

The Disciples were in a boat and there was a turbulent wind, but Jesus Christ was sleeping in the same boat at that point in time.
Nonetheless, they knew they needed Jesus,so they woke him up.

For me; it shows that the Disciples recognized that Jesus is the Prince of peace and they needed him to stabilize the boat at that particular moment.

Jesus rebuked the wind; "Peace be still" Immediately, the wind behaved itself and was calm.
Mark 4:35-41

I remembered the Testimony of my Father in the Lord: Pastor E. A Adeboye. How he was on an aircraft some years back and there was turbulence that the plane began to shake and the Pilot informed them of the bad weather condition.

Then fear came upon most people as they began to fidget. He went further; that the fellow next to him lost appetite all of a sudden.

However, Pastor Adeboye said he did not panic a bit, that he ate his food and also helped the fellow next to him to eat all his food too. He said though the man was looking at him somehow, but he was confident that the plane would not crash because he had committed the journey to God's hand and more importantly he knew the Grace of God (Jesus) goes everywhere with Him and that He as assured him of safety.

True to his assertion, the aircraft landed without any issue.

Jesus Christ is the Gift of God (John 3:16) to mankind in order to redeem us and save us from eternal damnation.

In another passage, Apostle Paul says;

"For by Grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast".
Ephesians 2:8&9.

Meaning, we do not have any power of our own except that deposited in us by Jesus.

It is often said that we now live in the dispensation of Grace, which was made possible by our Lord Jesus;

"For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace".
Romans 6:14.

Bible students know that the word: law is often connected to Moses who brought the Ten commandments from God, while the word: Grace, is by our Lord Jesus Christ.;

"For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ"
John 1:17.

However, Grace should not be taken for granted. The popular saying is that; "you give honour to whom honour is due"

How can you make plans without including the One that will enable you to actualize them.

Little wonder, Apostle Paul wrote;

"But he said to me; “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness...”
2 Corinthians 12:9.

When you fail to acknowledge the significance of the presence of God upon your life, it goes to show that you have opened up access for the devil to attack.

Brethren, never let down your guard.

"Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour".
1 Peter 5:8.

In conclusion, "I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the Ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God (Jesus).

In other words, I am nothing.I mean; I am a nobody without Jesus, but with Jesus: The Grace of God, I can do all things.

PRAYER : I will accomplish all things I set my heart to do through Christ Jesus who gives me strength.Phil 4:13.

                           RELEASED ON 15/JUNE/2019

                            THE SKY IS WIDE ENOUGH!

The bible says;

"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves".
Philippians 2:3.

On the 11th of June 2019, while I was brushing my teeth in the morning, the Lord spoke to me clearly;

"The sky is wide enough!"

As I was ruminating on the significance of that sentence,the Spirit of God flashes this
popular saying;

"The sky is wide enough for all birds to fly without their wings touching".

In a bid to reconcile God's words and the popular saying in order to make a sense of what God was trying to tell me;

God brought to my remembrance how I came back home on vacation and I visited Abuja in the year 2009. Then my elder brother took me to a bakery that was producing the most sought after bread at that time.

God went further and asked me; how many of such bakeries have you patronized since that time?," Then, I began to recollect one after the other.

Soon after, the Lord said to me; "if many more bakeries have emerged after the first bakery you patronized, with some producing better bread, yet without clashing with one another; why can't members of My Body (The Church) serve according to the gifts that I have bestowed on each person without having any cause for conflict?

Then I remembered what Apostle Paul wrote;

"Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness".
Romans 12:6-8.

God gives out these gifts as He pleases and nobody can say, these are the criteria that He uses;

"All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and He distributes them to each one, just as He determines".
1 Cor 12:11

The question then is; why do we have so much division, hatred and strife within & among believers now?

The Spirit of God said to me specifically; ENVY is the bane of the Church now, unlike the days of the early Church.

Brothers and Sisters of the Gospel; I searched the Scripture and I discovered there was no record of envy, jealousy or hatred among the disciples, they all complemented one another for the common goal of spreading the Gospel of Jesus.

The present Church should emulate the disciples in our relationship with one another. Truly, the sky is wide enough for everyone of us to pick his or her space in line with the gifts of God upon you and excel without rancor in the work of the Ministry.

Although, some agents of darkness have penetrated the Church of God and they must be exposed and flushed out! Eph 5:11 .

Until the emergence of Paul, Simon Peter and all of the other disciples restricted their preaching to the Jews only.;

The bible says;
Meanwhile, the believers who had been scattered during the persecution after Stephen’s death traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch of Syria. They preached the word of God, but only to Jews." Acts 11:19.

However, The Game Changer of the disciples"; Paul, came on the scene and changed the narratives. Paul made a radical departure from the conservative style of the disciples, by extending the preaching of the Gospel to the Gentiles.

Paul actually acted on the words of

"This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel".
Acts 9:15.

Whenever anyone appears to have deviated from the Truth; which is the bible, such person can be corrected or rebuked in order to protect the sanctity of the Church;

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness".
1 Tim 3:16.

Every individual in the Church today should purge him/herself of any traces of envy, hatred and jealousy.

It reminds me of the Yoruba adage my Late Mother used to tell me;

"Adiye gagara koni fe je ki akuko o ko!
Meaning, the big chicken does not want the smaller one to crow".

The bible says;
"If you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.
James 3:14-16.

Brethren, take a pause, reflect on these ☝bible verses and see why those issues have lingered on in your Church.

Our God is no respecter of persons. Acts 10: 34 He can decide to use a new or younger person more than the older ones just as He did with Apostle Paul. Jesus said:
"But many who are first will be last, and the last first".
Matthew 19:30.

The story of Eli and Samuel is also very instructive for the Christian leaders in this generation to emulate.

Eli was still the Priest when God had started speaking to Samuel. Eli, despite his position and age humbled himself before Samuel;

"What did the LORD tell you?" Eli asked. "Don't keep anything from me. God will punish you severely if you don't tell me everything he said."
1 Sam 3:17.

Envy actually matures to death if it is not dealt with on time! Hear what the Spirit of God says again; "Do not allow envy to take root in your heart any longer"!
I Peter 2:1

It's not about your years of experience in doing something, when God is ready to use another person, He does so without hindrance.

After all, just like the famous Hausa saying; "Sarki goma, Zamani goma". meaning "Ten Kings, Ten epochs!".

In conclusion,
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.
If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen".
1 Peter 4:10&12.

I pray for you: The sky is wide enough; whatever business, career or job you are doing will yield for you and you will excel in that field in the name of Jesus.

However, your connection with our Lord Jesus is pivotal to your success. The bible says: "What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?"
Mark 8:36.

Allow Jesus to take the driving seat in your life.
