                                  WELCOME TO THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2024

In Isaiah 41:13, God said, For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.



              RELEASED ON THE 1ST OF JULY 2022

Glory be to God. I welcome you to month of accomplishment.


In 2 Chronicles 31, the bible shares an account of how King Hezekiah led a revival and reformation in the land of Judah.


Through Hezekiah's leadership people everywhere responded by giving freely to the extent that there was surplus!


Then the bible recalls that, "in the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month".

2Chronicles 31:7.


I pray for you today, this month will yield increase for you and your family, the good Lord will surpass your expectations and the faithfulness of our good God will be evident upon your life in Jesus name. 🙏




   The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Psalm 37:23


May your steps align with the plan of God for you in this year 2022 and beyond in Jesus name!

                                PRAISE THE LORD


Hallelujah! How good it is to sing praises to God. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.


People of God, the LORD is my God; I will honor Him and praise His name. He has done amazing and wonderful things for me; He has faithfully carried out the plans He had for me long ago. What a mighty God I serve!


My brothers and Sisters, I know you have your own personal reasons to praise God, however, perhaps you do not have many reasons as I do, *please praise God for my sake. Offer praises to God on my behalf. He alone is worthy of my praise.*

*From Him and through Him and to Him are all things that we are or will ever have.* John 3:27


I don't know about you, as long as I live ( by His grace I will live long. 🙏) my mouth shall speak the praises of the LORD. I will make known His name across the world.


To Him alone be all the glory forever in Jesus name. 🙏

                       TANGIBLE PROOFS OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS

Ideally, christianity is all about a faith base tradition that focuses on the Lord Jesus Christ. That's why the bible says, *"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith* Hebrews 12:2.

The expectation is that when you fix your attention on Jesus you are looking away from all the issues and distractions of life. In other words, irrespective of what you are going through, your focus is on Jesus.

On the contrary, the people of the world are not fixing their eyes on Jesus, they are merely looking at you and I for proofs of Gods faithfulness in our lives!

The reality is that people only give you recognition and relate with you base on what they see and on the basis of your wealth, title, position, the house you live in, the car you drive, etc.

In the absence of any substantial proof of God's faithfulness in your life, you will not earn their respect. No one really cares about your commitment to God, prayer life, your hustle or the effort you put into what you do, they only want to see tangible proofs that testify to God's faithfulness.

I remember an old song by Evangelist Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi which says, *Olowo laye mo!*

The English translation of that song says-

"The people of the world only reckon with the wealthy,

Lord my life is in your hands.

The struggles of man

is because of money.

Make my life sweet

Shape my destiny, so I can be somebody great.

Quickly show me the way Lord,

Don't let me go in vain"

I say a powerful Amen to the lyrics of this song in Jesus name.🙏


The last part of that song that says, *Don't let me go in vain"*

has been a source of concern to many believers.

After following Jesus for a while without anything to show for it , Peter and other disciples were deeply concerned. They asked *"we have left everything and followed you, what is our reward?"


Then Jesus said to them everyone who has left everything to follow me *"will receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life.* Mark 10:29

I pray for you and for myself, we will not live this world until we have received all the reward of serving God. The Lord will bless us with proofs of His faithfulness in Jesus name. 🙏


When our Lord Jesus began His earthly Ministry, He was not regarded by His people. They mocked Him. They said *“Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And are not His brothers, James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?* Matthew 13:55.


Those people knew His background. Truly, there was nothing significant or great about Jesus' family background. His earthly parents were ordinary people.

However, the narrative of Jesus changed afterwards. His fame began to spread across Judea, Syria and the surrounding countries. He became the most sought after. Then, the village people that once mocked Jesus said;

*“A great prophet has risen up among us”; and, “God has visited His people.”*

Luke 7:16.

The good news is that our God is very interested in blessing us with proofs of His faithfulness. He says; *'I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.*

Jeremiah 29:11 Good news translation.


*Delay is not denial!* Some people might have said to your face that you are too old to marry or give birth. They might have said buying a car and owning a house of your own are totally beyond you. Don't be bothered, they are not God. The Almighty God will bless and honour you before their very eyes in the name of Jesus. 🙏

*Our God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown for His name sake.* Hebrews 6:10.


Hear me, because of your love for God and His work, the Lord will make you a force to reckon with in your family, office, country and the world at large in Jesus name. 🙏.

 RELEASED ON THE 1st OF JULY 2021


Congratulations to you for witnessing the beginning of a new month, which is the seventh month of the year. Seven (7), is the number of completeness and perfection.

Concerning you and I, the Lord will perfect and complete His good works

over us in the name of Jesus. 🙏 The glory of the latter months of this year shall be greater than the former in the name of Jesus. 🙏 

What is difficult for others shall be made easy for you and I. When others are complaining of a downturn, for us, it shall be for a lifting in the Mighty name of Jesus. 🙏.


Beloved, as it is written: *“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”* (1 Corinthians 2:9) are the things God has prepared for us in this month and we will not miss out in the name of Jesus. 🙏


I pray for you and for myself, in this new month and beyond, the Lord will make us a reference point for good health, a channel of blessings, a symbol of desirable achievements and many more good things of life in Jesus name. 🙏

                   RELEASED ON THE 11TH OF JUNE 2021

                          COMFORT ONE ANOTHER!


Losing a loved one is part of life, but that doesn’t make it any easier for anyone to deal with the agony. Apparently, the death of a loved one whether young or old will often takes its toll on those left behind and at times it can feel like the grief is never going to end.

*The good news is that we know that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will raise with Him the believers who have died knowing and accepting Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 4:14


Truly *"the LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.Psalm 34:18. The truth of the matter is that on many occasions, God uses some us to encourage and provide support for those who are mourning.


When our Lord Jesus got to the house of Lazarus and saw people weeping, the bible says, *Jesus wept*.John 11:33-36

We do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who knows what it is to grieve.

Hebrews 4:15.


We all need a shoulder to lean on in our difficult moments.

That's why the bible says,

*Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.* James 1:27.


The reality of life is that *"no one knows his time: like fish caught in a cruel net or like birds caught in a trap, so people are trapped in an evil time as it suddenly falls on them.* Ecclesiastes 9:12.


While you and I are still here, God expects us to comfort one another. "Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn"* Romans 12:15.


When Jesus said, *"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted* (Matthew 5:4.), He was counting on using you and I to care for those who have been bereaved.


*Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."*

2 Corinthians 1:3-4.


The God we serve does not discriminate. *Acts 10:1-48*

God said: *"I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,”* Ezekiel 18: 32. So who are you to rejoice or imply victory over the death of another? Everyone will surely die anyway.


Our God is , *" the God of all flesh:* (Jeremiah 32:27.) It does not matter who is bereaved, God expects us to support and comfort the family left behind, irrespective of our differences, affiliations, party, religion or denomination.


People of God, the world is watching our body language, people are taking notes of our utterance and they are also reading meanings to the silence and our indifference.


More importantly, God said, *“If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey wandering off, you must bring it back to him.*

Exodus 23:4:


We are not called to show partiality or treat people differently.

*"what's good for the goose is also good for the gander".*

Our Lord Jesus said, *"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."* John 13:35.


Comfort those who are mourning, *"share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ."* Galatians 6:2.


Permit me to use this medium to extend my sincere

condolences to the families of General Attahiru and other people who died in the recent plane crash. My thoughts and prayers are definitely with the families of our beloved Pastor Dare Adeboye, Pastor Folorunso Abina and also the family of Prophet T.B Joshua and many more families and friends of those who have lost their loved ones in recent times.


May our good God be with you all and give you comfort. May He wrap His arms around you and give you peace and hope. May He fill you with strength, and may you feel His love and never feel forsaken in Jesus Mighty name. 🙏

                               THE GRACE IN YOU


Jesus said; "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing". John 15:5.


Therefore, permit me to say to you that

the race is not to the swift, or the battle to the strong, or bread to the wise, or riches to the discerning, or favor to the skillful; rather, it is by God's grace that we prevail and succeed in life.

All our accomplishments are by His grace alone. For "no one can receive anything, unless it has been given to him from heaven. John 3:27.


We are who we are today as a result of God's grace upon our lives. Grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Ephesians 4:7.


Personally, I became a servant of this Gospel solely as a result of the gift of God's grace that was given to me by the working of His power. It confirms the words of our Lord Jesus when He said : "My grace is sufficient for you". 2 Corinthians 12:9. 


If it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works. In fact, our salvation is by God's grace. The bible says,

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8.


Therefore, no one should boast or take glory over his or her achievements. It is not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. (Zechariah 4:6.) 


It is the Spirit of Grace that is working in you and not your own ability.


Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16


However, What should we say? Should we keep on sinning, so that God's gift of undeserved grace will show up even better?Certainly not! Romans 6:1-2.


Accept Jesus today and flee from all appearances of sin.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit continue to be with you in Jesus name.🙏.

                                   GOD WILL MAKE A WAY!

"No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it."
1Corinthians 10:13.

Jesus made us to understand that life is not meant to be smooth for anybody.
( John16:33 )

There will be challenges and trials along the way. There will be situations that will appear very tough like someone in a dead end. However, in spite of the difficulties one will experience in such tough situations and the obvious limited options available to us as natural being, our God is a miraculous God who specializes in making ways out of no way.

There is nothing too hard for God. Jeremiah 32:27.

The bible captures the story of the Pool of Bethseda in Jerusalem, beside that Pool was a man who had been sick for 38 years. John 5:5.

According to the bible, there were multitudes of people who were always ready to jump into the Pool for their healing whenever an Angel stirs the water.
For many years by the Pool side, no one cared about the plight of that man; he did not have anyone to help him ( John 5:5 ) it was a story of "every man for himself" just as it is today.

There was no way out for the sick man until he met Jesus; the Help of the helpless, who introduced Himself as the way (John 14:6). Eventually, Jesus healed the man without having to put him into the Pool.

That same Jesus is interested in your case today. It does not matter what you have gone through or what you are facing right now. Jesus is the way maker!
We serve a God who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters Isaiah 43:16.

He is saying to you today, "I myself will prepare your way, leveling mountains and hills. I will break down bronze gates and smash their iron bars". Isaiah 45:2.

It won't be long!

May the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, settle and make ways for you in Jesus name. 🙏

                                           BE THE LIGHT!


The bible says;  "For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!."  Ephesians 5:8


The primary function of light is to illuminate and give direction. Therefore,as children of light our primary duty is to be the light that will make others to know Jesus.


Our lifestyles must preach Jesus, we are expected to walk in a manner that will give direction to people who are still living in darkness, proclaiming the virtues of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. (1 Peter 2:9)


Be the light in your family, be the light to your friends and colleagues, be the light to your children. Be that light directing others to Jesus. 


Be a soul winner!


May grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 🙏

                                   YOUR LIGHT WILL SHINE!


Light is used in the Scripture to symbolize God. "This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all". 1 John 1:5.

Significantly, when our Lord Jesus was born on earth, the bible says wise men came to Jerusalem saying to the Jews,


“where is He who was born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east, and we came to worship Him.” Matthew 2:2.

Invariably, a star signifies light and Jesus testified to this when He said;

"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12.

By extension, children of God (Believers) are God's representatives on earth and we are meant to showcase the light of God wherever we are.

That's why Jesus said; “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16.

It is the light of God upon you that distinguishes you from the crowd.

Jesus spoke about John the Baptist; "John was a lamp that burned and gave light" John 5:35.

Can Jesus say the same concerning you and I today ? Therefore, let that light shine!


However, it is important to know that we carry different kinds of light. How do I know this? The bible says, "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory". 1 Corinthians 15:41.

In other words, some of us are light unto our generations, while some are light for the country, town or family they come from. It does not matter what light you carry, it must shine!


I don't know about you, but as for me 🎹🎤 this little light of mine

I'm going to let it shine

Let it shine, all the time, let it shine.......


King David was regarded as the lamp of Israel. The bible records that he and his men went and fought the Philistines. During the battle David grew tired"

2 Samuel 21:15


At that moment, A Philistine soldier had cornered David and was about to kill him, but Abishai son of Zeruiah came to David's rescue; he struck the Philistine down and killed him. Then David's men swore to him, saying, "Never again will you go out with us to battle, so that the lamp of Israel will not be extinguished."

2 Samuel 21:17.


I pray for you reading this, the light of God upon you will not be extinguished in Jesus name. 🙏.


Nobody can stop the sun and the moon from giving out light, therefore you and I are unstoppable!


You are a light in that family, a light in that organisation, a light to your nation, a light to your generation and many more.

Your light will not go dim, it will continue to shine brighter and brighter in Jesus name.🙏


However, when you carry a great light, you should be prepared to experience hatred, battles and challenges of life. David had to overcome a lot of hatred and battles because of the light in him. Concerning our Lord Jesus, it was because of the appearance of the star (light) that the wise men saw that triggered Herod to order the killing of all the boys of two years and below. Matthew 2:16.

Meanwhile, FEAR NOT, the good news today is that, because no one could stop Jesus from fulfilling His purpose on earth, no one will be able to stop you and I from shining our light when God wants it to shine in Jesus name. 🙏

                                     JESUS PAID THE PRICE FOR YOU!


He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5.


Jesus gave Himself as a ransom for our redemption and freedom. " In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace"  Ephesians 1:7.


People of God, it is important for us to always remember that our Lord Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sins and for the freedom we have today as children of God. We cannot afford to live our lives in sins or live carelessly like other people do. For  " we are not like that, for we are a chosen people. royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light" 1 Peter 2:9.


As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, we should also take it upon ourselves to have a re- evaluation of our lives. Paraventure you have fallen away, this season is a good time to make amends where necessary so you can be restored through repentance.


I pray that the same power that resurrected Jesus will also give life to everything that concerns you in Jesus name. 🙏

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. 

Ephesians 3:20





                            RELEASED ON THE 17th OF MARCH 2021



                                     PREPARE TO MEET YOUR GOD!


God spoke to the children of Israel as recorded in Amos 4:12 - saying, "Prepare to meet your God". He is saying the same today to you and I;

"Prepare to meet your God".


In other words, we are living in the last days. The Second Coming of our Lord Jesus is around the corner. Therefore, we are to prepare for Him.

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the Second coming of our Lord Jesus. For in the days of Noah, people were more

pre-occupied with pleasures of life. Matthew 24:37-39.

The situation is even worse in this generation. For the world today only offers craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. 1 John 2:16.


Unfortunately for us in this dispensation, all of what we crave for will not matter on the last day. *Therefore, it is time to repent and start seeking after things that have eternal consequences and value.* Matthew 6:33

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent .Acts 17:30


Just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ Jesus having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrews 9:27-28.


This is what the soon coming King said: "Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done".

Revelation 22:12


We can fool and deceive people around us, but You cannot fool God, so don't make a fool of yourself! God knows everything about you.

Let us begin to live everyday as if is the last day we will live on earth.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things and do them.*

Phillippians 4:8.


I say to you once again; Prepare to meet your God!


When the time comes, may our good God finds us worthy enough to be acceptable unto Him in Jesus name. 🙏

The Almighty God will make this month the beginning of new things for you and your family in Jesus name.🙏


That which had been impossible for you to attain will be possible even beyond your dreams in the name of Jesus. 🙏


The Lord will preserve you and your family from accident, misfortune and every appearance of evil in name of Jesus.🙏


A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. Psalm 91:7


Above all, you will not lose your salvation but I encourage you to continue to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Phillippians 2:12), even as you grow in the knowledge of our good God in Jesus Mighty name. 🙏

                                             WHO ARE YOU LOYAL TO?


Loyalty can be defined as exhibiting *consistent* allegiance or support to a person or institution. Much emphasis is placed on the word: "consistent" because loyalty connotes; unwavering devotion, faithfulness, allegiance and commitment towards a sovereign, government, leader, person, course, institution, etc.


That was why Ruth said to Naomi, her mother-in-law;

*"Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God".* Ruth 1:16


In other words, loyalty means; irrespective of the situation or circumstances, actions and words of a leader, your allegiance towards him or her will remain intact an unaffected.


The reality of this life is that everyone has a tendency to change.The only One who does not change is God! God's attributes remain the same from generation to generation. His character never changes, He is *"unchangeable and consistent!".


*Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8


Our loyalty should be first and foremost towards God. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment. " Matthew 22:37-38.


We need to be conscious of the fact that we serve a jealous God who says, "My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved idols."

Isaiah 42:8.


This message is particularly meant for believers who now worship their pastors. *Hear the word of God that I preach to you, as far as the work of God is concerned, your absolute loyalty is not to your pastor, but rather to Jesus that you see in the lifestyle of your pastor!


That's why Apostle Paul said; "Imitate me, as I also imitate Christ".

1 Corinthians 11:1.


Our Lord Jesus owns this work! "He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers". Ephesians 4:11


Your pastor or the one who ordained you have done a futile exercise if Jesus did not call you to His work. So stop idolizing him. "No one can become a high priest simply because he wants such an honor. He must be called by God for this work, just as Aaron was". Hebrews 5:4.


The "blind loyalty" that exist in the Christendom today will send many believers to hell fire if care is not taken.


A popular Yoruba adage says; *"eni ran ni se laberu" meaning, your loyalty should be towards the person that sends you on errand.

Therefore, I 'm loyal to JESUS!


A former Governor of Lagos State, said, "May our loyalty never be tested".

Truly, God has a way of testing our loyalty. The story of  "a man of God from Judah" recorded in 1 Kings 13 is very instructive.


God specifically sent him on errand to Bethel and instructed him not to drink or eat there nor take same route going into the city and coming out of it.

In the course of delivering the message of God in Bethel, God used King Jeroboam to test the loyalty of the man of God and he passed the test by declining the offer to eat with the King.


However, the man of God failed the second test by succumbing to the offer of a prophet in Bethel, who told him the contrary of God's instructions.

Eventually, the man of God died untimely because he obliged to a prophet against the clear instructions of God.


"Every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Romans 14:12.

Therefore, your loyalty to a mentor, leader or your pastor should have a boundary or limitation.


Your total loyalty should be to Jesus who cannot change, fail or falter.

Job said; "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in him". Job 13:15


I don't know about you, I have decided to follow this Jesus. Though none go with me, I still will follow; no turning back, no turning back.


JESUS! is the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6.


If you are loyal to Jesus, you will not be ashamed to spread the Gospel. Tell someone about the love of Jesus and the reality of His Second Coming.

People of God, it would be very foolish and careless at this time for anyone to downplay the contagious nature of Covid-19 and the importance of observing all guidelines necessary to prevent the spread of the virus.


Wearing a mask does not make anyone a coward, but flagrant disregard of preventive measures is nothing but foolishness and recklessness.

Concerning our Lord Jesus, an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream. “ Get up!” he said. “Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.” Matthew 2:13.


That's why the bible says; A wise person sees evil and hides himself to avoid it, but fools pass on, and will be punished. Proverbs 27:12

A word is enough for the wise! He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches.’ Revelation 2:29.

                                           HELP IS ON THE WAY!


The Psalmist made us to understand that God honours and magnifies His Word more that all His names (Psalm 138:2), and one of the promises of God says; "fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you."  Isaiah 41:10.


The reality of this life is that everyone of us needs help of some sort. Irrespective of your status, there will be one thing or the other that you will need help for. The bible says, "Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and in high favor, because by him the LORD had given victory to Syria. He was a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper."  2 Kings 5:1.


That is the irony of life, although Namaan was a great man in all ramifications, but yet he was a leper who desperately needed help for the cleansing of his leprosy. 2 kings 5.


The story of Namaan always reminds me of a popular Soap Opera I loved to watch in the early 90ties, titled; "The Rich Also Cry". Apparently, many of the so-called super rich people need help that money cannot buy.


People of God, the kind of help I am preaching about is not one from man, rather, it's the help from God (Psalm 121:1-2). It's about God (Commanding or mandating) using man to help you.


After Elijah prophesied before Ahab that there will be no rain for a few years, God instructed him to go hide by the brook of Cherith, where he was getting water to drink from the brook. But after a while the brook dried up, for there was no rainfall anywhere in the land. 1 Kings 17:7.


In other words, even Men of God also need help! Elijah was stranded and he needed help. Then the word of the Lord came to him saying; "Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” 1 Kings 17:9.


I say to you again, help is on the way! Your closeness to the person God will use to help you is immaterial. In fact, whether the person will be willing to help you should never be your area of concern, for God has a way of instilling your matter in the mind of the one He will connect you with to help you. Exodus 3:22.


Interesting, that was what played out in the case of Elijah. When Elijah saw the woman of Zarephath, she was about to eat her last meal with her son and die because she had lost hope of surviving the famine in the land. Elijah requested that the woman should give him water and prepare a cake for him first, somehow the woman obliged him by surrendering part of her meal to Elijah, because God was involved.


Fortunately, for the woman and her son, God sent Elijah to them at that time because they needed help desperately. Elijah said to the woman.

"This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: There will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the LORD sends rain and the crops grow again!” 1Kings 17:14.


While the land of Israel was experiencing a famine of three years, Elijah, with the woman and her son were not affected because God made provision for them for the flour and the oil did not finish!. 


Our God is the ever present help in times of trouble. Psalm 46:1. I don't know what kind of help you need, this is what the Lord says. “For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand, Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’ 🙏 Isaiah 41:13.


Are you in despair or stranded in one way or the other? Are you feeling overwhelmed by the situation around you? The helper of the helpless (JESUS ) says; "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest". Matthew 11:28.


No matter what your situation is, call on God and have hope that your help is on the way! That situation will not consume you, you are coming out of it, for God is sending help to you and you will have a way of escape in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                 JESUS KNOWS


People of God, it gladdens my heart that we have a High Priest (JESUS) who is able to empathize with our weaknesses and predicament. Someone who had gone through all that we may be going through now. Hebrews 4:15.


Apparently, there is no hiding place for anyone of us. Jesus knows everything about us. People of God, when Jesus was choosing His disciples, the bible says He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.”.


Out of excitement Philip went to look for his friend, Nathaniel and told him, “We have found the very person Moses and the prophets wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth. Come and see for yourself."

Nathaniel followed Philip to meet Jesus for the first time and Jesus saw him approaching said; “Now here is a genuine son of Israel, a man of complete integrity.”


Nathaniel was surprised that Jesus knew him intimately, so he said to Jesus, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” John 1: 43-48.


In other words, Jesus sees every moment of our lives, whether in the open or in the closet. King David understood that God is an all-knowing God, hence he wrote, "O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether".

Psalm 139:1-4


Jesus also knows what it feels like to experience issues of life.

The bible says, "Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered. Matthew 21:19.


He experienced disappointment before, so He knows and understands your feelings when you go through disappointment.


Do you feel lonely or forsaken? Jesus also cried to God at some point; “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Matthew 27:46.


Without doubt, Jesus knows about your tears, pain, struggles, delay, marital issues, sickness, failure etc. You can be sure He has your best interest at heart! That's why the Lord says; For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11.


The Lord that knows what you go through in secret will reward you openly in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                     PRAY!


One of the bible characters that stood out for me is Cornelius (Acts 10).The bible described him as "a devout man who feared God with all his household, gave alms generously to the people and prayed continually to God. Acts 10:2.


Interestingly, his lifestyle got the attention of God. An Angel said to him in a vision;

"Your prayers and your acts of charity have ascended as a memorial offering before God. Acts 10:4.


It goes to show that prayer connects us with God. "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16


Let us not be complacent with the affairs of this world, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Phillippians 4:6.


It doesn't matter how long you have been praying on that issue, don't stop. "Cast your bread upon the waters,for you will find it after many days." Ecclesiastes 11:1.


The God who accepted the prayers of Cornelius will answer your prayers in Jesus name. 🙏

Today, as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus, let us all remember that the assignment He gave us all to do for Him is to;

“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation". Mark 16:15.


There are many people out there that are yet to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour, let us use our lives to preach Jesus to them.

The bible says: "Good news from far away is like cold water to the thirsty" Proverbs 25:25.


The importance and the effect of hearing good news cannot be overemphasized. King David in one of his Psalms prayed a prayer to God, saying; "Make me to hear joy and gladness" Psalm 51:8.

That prayer may seem very simple to many of us, but it's very loaded indeed. Good news usually brings hope, relief, joy and excitement to the hearers.

Therefore, as this year is coming to an end, the Lord Almighty will cause you and I to ear only good news concerning everyone that is connected to us in the name of Jesus.


It does not matter the kinds of news that are coming out of our TV, Radio and Social Media platforms lately, I pray for you again, the Lord will cause you to hear good news that will bring perpetual hope, relief and joy to you and all your loved ones in the name of Jesus .

God brings down and lifts up. He raises up the poor from the dust; He lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. 1 Samuel 2:7 & 8. He removes kings and promotes others to be kings. Daniel 2:21. He topples the mighty from their thrones and exalts the lowly in their place. Luke 1:52. He sets on high those who are lowly and those who mourn are lifted to safety. Job 5:11


Therefore, if the Spirit of God who raised Jesus from death lives in you, then you can be sure He who raised Christ will also lift you beyond your imaginations. God will lift you above your enemies, above all sickness, above mountains, sin, sorrow and above every limitation of life in Jesus name.🙏.

Let no one glory in himself; "A king does not win because of his powerful army; a soldier does not triumph because of his strength". Psalm (33:16). Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Psalm 127:1.


You and I are alive today because God is still interested in using us for His purpose. The same road you ply on a regular basis have swallowed many people. The kind of sickness that have killed the super rich, has not taken your own life. Beloved, it is not luck, for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work according to His good purpose.

Phillippians 2:13.


Continue to hold on to God and do not take His grace for granted. Romans 6:1

He who has kept us under the shadow of His wings for this long, will continue to preserve us for many more glorious years in the name of Jesus. 🙏

                                                    TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!

"It is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God.". Ecclesiastes 5:19.

On the other hand, "God gives some people great wealth and honor and everything they could ever want, but then He doesn’t give them the chance to enjoy these things. They die, and someone else, even a stranger, ends up enjoying their wealth..." Ecclesiastes 6:2.

Truly, death is inevitable for all of us. However, the fact remains that many people are dying untimely due to treatable and preventable diseases caused or aggravated by unhealthy lifestyles and habits of paying less attention to their health.

Many of us are guilty of being preoccupied with work and making money, forgetting that
health is the most important thing in our lives. It is only when you are healthy that you have the capacity to physically and mentally create wealth and enjoy the wealth. That explains the popular saying; "health is wealth".

Although God promised us good health and long life, however, we should not take the promises of God for granted. The bible says; "make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and to knowledge self-control and to self-control perseverance and to perseverance godliness;" 2 Peter 1:5&6.
In other words, we are expected to add some other qualities to our faith, which includes knowledge and self- control. Having adequate knowledge of what a healthy lifestyle is and taking full responsibility, by being in control of your health is very critical.
A Yoruba adage says; "Ti idi ba baje tan,ti onidi lo mada". It means, if the buttock is damaged, the owner will suffer the consequences. Everyone is responsible for his or her wellness.
People of God, let us not be overly spiritual about our health. Regular health check up is very important. You cannot cheat nature, your immune system reduces with age, so living a healthy lifestyle is part of what will guarantee your longevity.
Jesus said; “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? Matthew 5:13.

You should make conscious and dedicated efforts to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Pray regularly for sound health, eat healthily, exercise regularly, maintain adequate sleeping patterns and be very religious in taking your medication if you are on any.

Just as the bible verse, 3 John:1:2 says; " I wish above all things" that you prioritize your health. In every situation, your health and wellbeing should come first, thereafter you will be able to impact the world around you. You are only useful and valuable to others if you are healthy.
Once again I say to you beloved, take good care of yourself!

May the Lord grant us good health and may we all live long to fulfill the years God has purposed for us in Jesus' name. 🙏

                                                                  KEEP THE FAITH!

The Christian journey is a walk by faith and not by sight ( 2 Corinthians 5:7). Meaning, our life is never predicated on circumstances around us nor on the limitations that we see or perceive.

The bible says; "faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen".
Hebrews 11:1

Keeping the faith is about you continuing to believe in and having unwavering trust in God, especially when it is difficult and the surrounding circumstances are not favourable.

Jairus a ruler of the synagogue had faith in Jesus , so when he saw Jesus, he fell at His feet and pleaded earnestly with him, "My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live." Mark 5:22 & 23.

Fortunately for Jairus, Jesus agreed and decided to follow Jairus. The journey to Jairus' house, from Jairus point of view was meant to be a direct and unhindered one but soon after, distractions and discouraging events started unfolding.

People of God, along every road of our journey in life lies distractions and discouragements. However, in spite of all that we will encounter in life, we are being enjoined to continue to hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering. Hebrews 10:23.

On that road to Jairus' house was "the woman with the issue of blood". The bible says;
"She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years, she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. Mark 5:26

One significant thing to be learnt from the woman is that, in spite of what she has gone through, she kept the faith. Having tried all the physicians around and her case grew worse, she could have given up, but the bible says; "When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his clothing". Mark 5:27

For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” Mark 5:28.
Are you also trusting God for healing or fruit of the womb? I say to you Keep the faith. It does not matter how many times you have tried several medications, don't give up just yet, your story is about to change.

While Jesus was attending to the woman with the issue of blood, news came from Jairus' house that his daughter has died and that he should stop bothering Jesus. At that point, one could imagine Jairus' faith must have been shattered. Jesus heard what they said, and he said to Jairus, "Don't worry. Just have faith!" Mark 5:36.

In other words, Jesus told Jairus to keep the faith! You must have been following Jesus for many years and there seem not to be many tangible things to point to, then you have started thinking of alternatives, may be you are losing hope, or doubting that your dreams and vision might not come to pass after all, I say to you; keep the faith!

There might not be any sign of light at the end of your tunnel, I say to you again, keep the faith! Just like it happened to Jairus and his daughter was brought back to life, you too will see the glory of God concerning that issue in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                      GOD'S PURPOSE FOR YOU IS SURE!

The bible clearly states that we have been predestined according to the purpose of God who works all things in accordance to the counsel of His will. Ephesians 1:11.

The situation around you now might not seem favourable or likely to produce anything significant, but God says: *"I have let you live for this purpose: to show you My power and to make My name known in all the earth". Exodus 9:16.
God has a purpose for everyone of us and He is always determined to assist us to establish those purposes.

Though the wicked people may intend evil against you and devise a plot to stop you, they will not succeed because no purpose of God can be thwarted!

Remember, things were not particularly smooth for our Lord Jesus. When He was to be given birth to, there was no room available so He was born in the manger. Luke 2:7. Soon after that, Herod tried to kill Him, (Matthew 2:16) but he failed because God's had purposed Jesus for our redemption. John 3:16

That same God will fulfill His purpose for you and make His plan concerning you to be established in Jesus name.🙏

                                                     WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES

One of the greatest attributes of a good leader is empathy. The word "empathy" is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Having empathy as a leader means that you fully understand the predicaments of the people and your utterances, silence, speeches, actions and decisions must reflect clear indications of your concern for the plight of the people.

Unfortunately, our leaders in Nigeria have consistently demonstrated a high level of impunity, incompetence, insensitivity, greed, wickedness and lack of empathy to the plight of the citizenry.
There's no justification for any leader to have instituted a means to amass mind bulging wealth for himself through collection of people's taxes and those people are still living in abject poverty. In the same vein, what justification can be adduced to the discovery of food and provisions meant for the alleviation of the sufferings of people being kept in a secret warehouse. They are both birds of the same feather!

That is what I call "wickedness in high places".

May the judgement of God come upon all our leaders who have impoverished the people to amass wealth for themselves. The bible says; "He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the LORD." Proverbs 17:15
People of God, the time has come to fully make our leaders to be accountable for their failed promises and flagrant incompetence. We have indulged them for too long!

Although, we will not stop praying, but let it be known that the solution to bad governance lies in voicing out our discontent consistently and using our PVC to vote out all the wicked thieves and incompetent leaders that we have condoned and tolerated for so long.

However, be assured that all our wicked leaders and their accomplices will not go unpunished.
May the Lord give them the punishment they so richly deserve! Measure it out in proportion to their wickedness. Pay them back for all their evil deeds! Give them a taste of what they have done to others (Psalm 28:4) in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                           DON'T BE SILENT!

The bible says; Speak up for those who have no voice, for the justice of all who are dispossessed. Proverbs 31:8

Without any iota of doubt, the events of recent times and the ongoing clamour for Police reform in Nigeria is unveiling a new sense of awakening and involvement of the youth in current affairs and good governance. This new development across the Nation clearly signifies that what is most important to us as a people must be spoken, made verbal and shared, even when there are risks of having it bruised aside or misunderstood.

Albert Einstein once said; "The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it."

Therefore, let it be known that anything is possible when the youth have a common voice and a message. More than ever before, this is the time to continuously speak out, we have kept quiet for too long. Democracy is a system of government in which power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through their elected representatives.

However, when the elected representatives of the people fail to implement the wishes of the people, it is imperative that the people use their voices effectively through peaceful protest.
Let it also be known that, the ongoing protest is not a partisan protest or attack towards a particular Leader or Political party, it is a long overdue call for good governance. 

Apart from the #EndPoliceBrutality , we have deep rooted issues that require the government to allow the people to decide the way forward through *referendum*. We cannot continue to live in denial that the present structure in Nigeria is working for the generality of the people.

Therefore, irrespective of the position you occupy at this point, you are expected to use your voice. The older generations kept quiet and we are suffering for their silence today, who knows the level of decadence the next generation will have to endure if nothing is done now.
Use your voice now, make it louder!

                                                     GOD ISN'T DONE WITH YOU YET!

Every opportunity to see a new day is an indication that God is still very much interested in you. He isn't done with you just yet.

The bible says;
"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end"
Lamentations 3 :22. Similarly, a popular Yoruba phrase says; "Ile aanu oluwa ki su" meaning "the chances or opportunity for God's mercy does not lapse. In other words, as long as we live there is no limit or deadline for God's faithfulness over our lives.

Concerning Isaac, the bible says; "The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him."
Genesis 26:13&14.

God continued to bless Isaac despite his enormous wealth. Therefore, irrespective of what you have achieved before now, you can be sure God is not finished with you just yet. There is always room for improvement and for greater heights to be attained.

In the same vein, there is no closed case with our God. The man by the Pool of Bethesda was although sick and helpless for 38 years, but when Jesus showed up for him, the struggles and pain of those years came to an abrupt end. John 5:1-16.

My beloved in Christ Jesus, better days are still very much ahead of you and I because God is still working on us, He is not done yet. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10.

As it is written, what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever conceived is what God has prepared for us and He will bring them to manifestation in Jesus name.🙏

It does not matter how long you have prayed and waited over that same matter without any answer, God said; "At the right time, I, the LORD, will make it happen.” Isaiah 60:22.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

For there is no one like our God, who is always interested in our rising. May He continue to lift us up in every area of our lives in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                          A GLIMMER OF HOPE

During the time of Noah, God used rain to destroy the whole earth, except the Ark of Noah and all that were in it. The waters prevailed so mightily on the earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered. Genesis 7:19

However, "the water decreased steadily until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains became visible". Genesis 8:5

Any prolonged situation can be very discouraging, a glimmer of hope is a small sign that makes one to believe that there is a slight chance that something positive will happen. On that first day of the tenth month, seeing the top of the mountain was a glimmer of hope for Noah and all the inhabitants of the Ark.

Therefore, I pray for you and for myself, may this day brings hope to every area of our lives in Jesus might name. 🙏

I beseech you not to be ashamed to tell other people about our Lord Jesus and the joy of knowing Him. Jesus said; "Those who declare publicly that they belong to me, I will do the same for them before my Father in heaven". Matthew 10:32.

Therefore, do not keep the love of God to yourself, share it with many others! The responsibility to share Jesus and make Him known lies in us, for we are already part of God's family having received Jesus and believed in His name. Remember the bible says "as for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:20.

My prayer is that as we put into action the love and the generosity that comes from our Faith, we shall continue to grow in understanding and in experiencing all the good things we have in our Lord Jesus Christ 🙏

                                                            YOU NEED FAVOUR!

We live in a highly competitive world today. There is hardly any business, vocation, field or industry where there is no competition. Without doubt, education is very important and learning one skill or the other is the way to go in the world we live in today. However, even in the midst of qualified people, there is high competition.

Therefore, in order to thrive amidst many competitors you will need to have a 'cutting edge' advantage. I mean something that will make you to be chosen ahead of other people.
In this part of the world, we often talk about 'who you know' , which is having a good relationship with influential people, but experiences of life have revealed that influential people are not always reliable.

On the other hand, some people are of the opinion that for one to be successful in life you need an element of luck. Very true, ( Ecclesiastes 9:11) However, the bible also says; "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning". James 1:17.

In other words, "No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven". John 3:27.
People of God, favour is what gives you an edge over other people in your profession, business or calling. That's why the Psalmist prayed; "May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us-- yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17.

Favour is the distinguishing factor that will make one to stand out and be the preferred choice above many other people. The story of Esther brings to bear the power of God's favour in one's life. There was a need to choose a new queen for King Ahaseurus and a request was made to all beautiful virgins in the land to come for a beauty contest.

Among the ladies for the contest was a Jewish lady called Esther. When Esther appeared before the coordinator of the contest, the bible says; "She pleased him and won his favor. Immediately he provided her with her beauty treatments and special food. He assigned to her seven female attendants selected from the king's palace and moved her and her attendants into the best place in the harem". Esther 2:9

From that point, "Esther found favor in the eyes of all who saw her". Esther 2:15

By the time Esther appeared before the King, the bible says; "The king loved Esther more than all the women, and she found favor and kindness with him more than all the virgins, so that he set the royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. Esther 2:17.

When God favours you, even your enemies will have no choice but to favour you.
"The LORD caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the Israelites, and they gave the Israelites whatever they asked for. So they stripped the Egyptians of their wealth!" Exodus 12:36.

Favour will make everything about you to be appreciated and you will prosper even in difficult circumstances. Joseph enjoyed the favour of God under difficult circumstances as a slave and while he was in prison, the bible says; "But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison". Genesis 39:21.

It takes the favour of God for anyone to be great in this life. Every successful bible character was favoured in one way or the other.The bible says; " Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man"  Luke 2:52.

When God favour is upon you, even those that do not know you will help you.
May the Lord cause His face to shine upon you and grant you favour before everyone that comes your way in Jesus name. 🙏.

                                                         BEING A DISCIPLE...

At some point in the course of following our Lord Jesus, the disciples of old began to feel discouraged, it was as if there was no gain nor reward for their stewardship.

Then Jesus said to them; "I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and property, along with 'persecution' and in the world to come that person will have eternal life". Mark 10:29-30.

Relying on the above bible verses, one can infer that the prosperity of true disciples of Jesus is guaranteed. However, they will also experience persecution. According to Deitrich Bonhoeffer, a late German Pastor, "When Christ calls a man, He bids him come and die".

Truly, the reality of being a disciple of Jesus is that you will be opened up for persecution which involves being harassed, criticized, attacks, insults, hatred etc. Therefore, permit me to say to you that if a person desires to be a disciple of Jesus, he desires an honourable work.
However, being a disciple of Jesus is an invitation to be persecuted.

The popular saying; "touch not my anointed" in Psalm 105: 15 & 1 Chronicles 16: 22 is in reference to the nation of Israel, when you read the earlier verses you will get the message. Hence, it is not applicable to the life of a disciple of Jesus. As a disciple you should be prepared to receive sticks, insults and much more. That's why Jesus said; " A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you." John 15:20.

People spat at Jesus' face, some struck Him with their fists, while others slapped Him",(Matthew 26:67) yet He did not sin. "When He was insulted, He did not insult in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten but entrusted Himself to the One who judges justly".
1 Peter 2: 23.

Being a disciple of Jesus is about living a Christ-like life, showcasing the glory of God in our words and in deeds. Therefore, a disciple of Jesus must be very tolerant, humble and willing to be corrected, accept insults, must be living wisely and not easily provoked. He or she must be able to exercise self-control even in the face of provocation.

People of God, when we are cursed, we are instructed to bless, ( Luke 6:28) when we are persecuted we are expected to endure it;when we are insulted, we are told to answer back with kind words, for we are no more than this world's garbage; we are the scum of the earth to this very moment! 1 Corinthians 4:12-13.

How you handle hatred and criticism is what will distinguish you as a true disciple of Jesus.
Being a disciple, you must always remember that you are an ambassador of Jesus. It's therefore your responsibility to project the good image of our Lord Jesus. That explains why Jesus said;
"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:35.

In conclusion, if you are a disciple of Jesus, you must refuse to be distracted, for heaven is our goal. Remain focused on the task at hand. which is "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" Matthew 28:19.

I beseech you therefore beloved disciple, when you are persecuted, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, "Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and He will grant you His blessing." 🙏 1 Peter 3:9.

Please let us continue to pray for all our Christian Leaders, that the name of our good God will continue to be glorified in their lives. 🙏 

When a Christian Leader guff or stumbles, it will affect the image of the body of Christ as a whole.

I also pray that our labour for the spread of the Gospel will not be in vain in the name of Jesus. 🙏

                                                                    PRAY!
You may not be eloquent in putting words together to pray, it doesn't really matter, since the effectiveness of prayer is not in your vocabulary, but God is the one that gives answers to our prayers. “No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven". John 3:27.

God understand all languages. You can bring everything to Him in prayer.
God wants us to pray to Him. That's why He said; "as you have spoken in my ears, so will I do to you". Numbers 14:28.

The book of Jonah is very instructive on the efficacy of prayer. When the wind began to move the ship, "the sailors were frightened, and they all started praying to their gods. Jonah 1:5.

However, while all the panicky situation was going on, Jonah was sleeping, but the ship's captain went to him and said, "How can you sleep at a time like this? Get up and pray to your God! Maybe he will have pity on us and keep us from drowning."  Jonah 1:6.

Eventually, Jonah was thrown in the sea. "Now the LORD had arranged for a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was inside the fish for three days and three nights".Jonah 1:17.

When it became apparent to Jonah that there was no help in sight after he had spent three days in the belly of the fish, "then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from inside the fish". "And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land. Jonah 2:1 & 10.

Self pity does not change any situation in this life, neither will anxiety have any impact either, but prayer changes everything. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God".
Phillippians 4:6.

Hannah knew being sorrowful alone will not get her a child. So "In her bitter distress, Hannah prayed to the LORD". 1 Samuel 1:10. You might have prayed so much on a particular matter without result, I say to you don't stop praying. Before Hannah got Samuel, "Hannah continued praying before the LORD". 1 Samuel 1:12.

You can be sure prayer works. Can the One who shaped the ear not hear?
(Psalm 94:9)

This is the confidence that we have in God, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us. 1 John 5:14. However, if you are yet to give your life to Jesus or you are still living in sin, you might have been praying in vain. For "we know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but He is ready to hear those who worship Him and do His will". John 9:31

Tomorrow might be too late, "seek the LORD while you can find Him. Call on Him now while He is near". Isaiah 55:6. Don't stop praying. The bible says pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17

May the Lord grant all our prayer requests and petitions we have put before Him according to His will in Jesus name. 🙏.

                                                                   A NEW SONG

The kind of songs we sing say a lot about us. Songs speak volumes about who we are and what we are going through in life. In fact, our choice of songs reflect our values and our experiences.
May God bless our women. They sing a lot and the kind of song they sing can be a lead to what they are going through at that particular time.

The songs we sing tell our story. When someone sings a new song, it gives an indication of the kind of mood the person is in and it also confirms the faithfulness of God upon such a person.
Without doubt, there is an untold story behind every new song that we sing. After Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and told her about how she will conceive our Lord Jesus, Mary sang and said;
“My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed"
Luke 1:46-48.

More often than not, a new song signifies good fortune.
David was anointed and declared as the next king of Israel when God sent Samuel to Jesse' s house, but his story remained the same afterwards.
Although David was recommended to king Saul and he was playing harp before the king, but the bible revealed something very disturbing about his story.
One would have thought that David's level will change soon after he got to the palace, unfortunately, the bible says; "but David went back and forth from Saul to feed his father’s sheep at Bethlehem." 1 Samuel 17:15.
In other words, in spite of the fact that David was playing harp before the king,he was still being made to be tending the sheep. He was yet to be liberated!

Little wonder when David came to the battle front to fight Goliath, he saw Eliab ( his brother). Then the bible says; "Eliab’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, “Why have you come down? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? 1 Samuel 17:28

However, that cycle changed after David killed Goliath, his story turned around for good and a new song emerged in Israel. "And the women sang to one another as they celebrated, “Saul has struck down his thousands, and David his ten thousands.” 1 Samuel 18:7.

That heroic incident moved David to a new level for good. His story changed, as he was made a captain over a thousand soldiers and the king also gave him his daughter ( Michal) as wife. 1 Samuel 18

Little wonder David said; "I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:1-3.
I don't know what song you have been singing before now, I speak as a servant of the Most High God, very soon your song will change for good in Jesus name. 🙏

I pray for you and for myself, we will sing a new song. The Almighty God will surprise you and I even in this season and He will put a new song in our mouth just as He did for David.
Don't give up on God, it is not over yet, that thing that has been a burden to you shall be lifted by God. Your story will change for the better and you will sing a new song.

                                                        PREPARE FOR HEAVEN!

Growing up as a young believer, one of the hymns that stood out for me is ; "We speak of the realms of the blest" , the Yoruba version of it says: "A nsoro ile ‘bukun ni". The hymn says wonderful things about heaven, but more emphasis is placed on the chorus which says "But what must it be to be there?"

Without any iota of doubt, heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people! It is a place of perpetual joy, a realm of absolute peace. More importantly, the bible says life in heaven is free of sorrows, cares, fears and pain. Revelation 21:4

From all indications, there are no dull moments in heaven. Little wonder the Psalmist said: The heavens declare the glory of God. Psalm 19:1.

As someone rightly puts it; "Those who know where the treasure lies joyfully abandon everything else to secure it". In other words, securing our place in heaven is the wisest investment anyone should focus on in this life.

That is why Jesus said; "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you". Matthew 6:33
We often speak about heaven from time to time but do we really prepare for heaven? We are more preoccupied with the cares of this world that will not count when the time comes.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also". Matthew 6:19-21.
In the course of this year alone, the earth has swallowed so many people; young, old, rich, poor, Christians, unbelievers, pastors, Imams and all classes of people. Of all the classes of people that we have in this world only those who prepare themselves will make it to heaven.
Heaven is the real deal for all of us. Like the five wise virgins ( Matthew 25;1-13) , we must be prepared for the Second Coming of Jesus in order to make heaven.

"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
Mark 8:36.

Therefore, the foremost requirement to making it to heaven is that you must give your life to Jesus. Even the thief that was crucified with our Lord Jesus had to know Him before he was granted mercy to make it to paradise. Luke 23:43

“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Without Him no one can make it to heaven. John 14:6.
No one should miss a place that has been prepared for us by Jesus. John 14:3
"Therefore you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him". Matthew 24:44
By the grace of God, I will see you in heaven when the time comes in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                      DIVINE ANNOUNCEMENT
Without any iota of doubt, God created us to showcase His glory. Isaiah 43:7.
To this end, many people are shining for God in their chosen career and fields, while on the contrary, so many people are actually living in obscurity. In other words, the gifts of God upon their lives are yet to be acknowledged where it matters or they are not being put to use yet.

Divine announcement can be defined as a supernatural advertisement of the gifts of God upon our lives. It is about God creating events and circumstances in order to showcase His gifts upon your life. Concerning our Lord Jesus, God made an announcement when He was to begin His Ministry on earth. "A voice came from the cloud, saying, "This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him" (Luke 9:35.). From that moment, signs and wonders began to follow the ministration of Jesus and people began to ask “where did this man get such wisdom and miraculous powers?”. "Isn't this the carpenter's son? Matthew 13:54&55.

People of God, divine announcement is the heavenly approval over the work of your hands. It's what brings about an eye-opening experience for everyone to appreciate what you do.
Divine announcement is God putting the spotlight on you by unleashing your potentials for greatness. It was a divine announcement that brought out David from the bush where he had been hidden.

"The LORD said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king."1 Samuel 16:1

When Samuel demanded for David, the bible says; "Jesse sent for David. He was a healthy, good-looking boy with a sparkle in his eyes. As soon as David came, the LORD told Samuel, "He's the one! Get up and pour the olive oil on his head." 1 Samuel 16:12
From that moment, the hidden greatness in the life of David began to come to the knowledge of the whole world. Elisha was able to fulfill his destiny after a divine announcement was made concerning him to Elijah and Elisha became the successor of Elijah. 1 Kings 19:16.

Divine announcement is what position you or your work to be needed in high places.
Therefore, arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. ( Isaiah 60:1) You might have lived in the hidden for so long, but the LORD will cause His light to shine upon you and His glory shall be seen all over you in Jesus name.🙏

However, when God announces you, be careful not to get distracted, for the aim is to let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16.

Allow the attention that comes on you to be a platform for attracting people to the kingdom of God, so that other people will come to the knowledge of our good God.
May God announce you and showcase your gifts and talents in high places, so you can be a blessing to your generation in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                         WHEN GOD VISITS...

The month of August is generally regarded as the month of visitation. The term ‘August Visitor’ is usually used to describe the visit of a highly dignified person or an unexpected visitor with unusual importance and influence.

The most desired visitation anyone can crave for is the visitation of God. It takes only one visit of God to change the story of anyone. Whoever God visits will never remain the same.
However, the bible makes us to understand that God visits different people for different reasons.

The same God who visited Abraham and Sarah to bless them and confirm the time of the birth of Isaac also visited Sodom to destroy the city. The bible says Abraham saw three men and he invited them into his house to entertain them. Thereafter, one of them said to Abraham;
“I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife shall have a son.”
Genesis 18:10

After the men have declared the blessing to Abraham and Sarah, "then the men rose from there and looked toward Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on the way".
Genesis 18:16.
Soon after, two of the men (Angels) went to Sodom and Gomorrah to destroy the cities.
Genesis 19.

In the same vein, a man called Obed-edom experienced a visitation from God when the Ark of God was brought to his house;
"The Ark of the LORD remained there in Obed-edom’s house for three months, and the LORD blessed Obed-edom and his entire household". 2 Samuel 6:11.
Unfortunately, the same Ark of God had earlier caused the death of a man called Uzzah
2 Samuel 6:3-8

In other words, God's visitation does not necessarily imply good fortune. That's why He said; "I, the LORD, search the minds and test the hearts of people. I treat each of them according to the way they live, according to what they do." Jeremiah 17:10

Although, the bible did not give any indication to why Uzzah died for touching the Ark of God. However, there is no smoke without fire! Sometimes, when calamity befalls a man, many people may feel sorry for him without knowing the evil he has perpetuated.

"Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return"
Galatians 6:7. 

God said to Abraham: "If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake." Genesis 18:26.

Eventually, God only found Lot and his family as righteous people in Sodom.
Let the one who does evil continue to do evil. Let the righteous person continue to do what is right, but the Lord says; "Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done". Revelation 22:12

In a nutshell, when God visits , it is a time of reward. May the visitation of God upon your life brings blessings, healing and breakthrough to you in Jesus name. 🙏

                                               CLAIMING THE PROMISES OF GOD

Without any iota of doubt, the promises of God are sure. The bible testified to this fact when it says; “Not a single one of all the good promises the LORD had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything He had spoken came true."  Joshua 21:45.

As children of God, we are at liberty to apply the unfailing promises of God in the bible for ourselves. "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through Him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God".  2 Corinthians 1:20

In other words, through our relationship with Jesus, we can embrace and pray the promises of God in the bible for our lives and we will see them manifest in our lifetime to the glory of God.
However, it is important to note that majority of the promises of God are conditional.
When God was making promises to King Solomon, He said;
"So if you walk in My ways and keep My statutes and commandments, just as your father David did, I will prolong your days.” 1 Kings 3:14.

Similarly, if you are going to claim the good promises of God for your life, then you should be ready to be totally obedient to God and you can be sure God will remain faithful to His promises.
I claim these promises of God for you and for myself;

You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. 🙏

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
🙏.

You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.🙏
The LORD will remove from you all sicknesses; and you will enjoy sound health throughout the days of your life.🙏

The LORD your God will set you high above all your enemies, competitors and your contemporaries. You shall fulfill your destiny and the Lord will make you a blessing to your generation and you will not be barren in Jesus name. 🙏

God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change His mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through?
Numbers 23:19.

On the other hand, God has made specific promises concerning many of us and perhaps some of those promises are yet to be fulfilled. Please don't lose hope, for "the Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, Surely, as I have thought and planned, so shall it come to pass, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand" Isaiah 14:24.

I therefore beseech you to continually hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful to bring them to pass. You must continue to claim and remind God in your prayers like David who said; "Remember your promise to me; it is my only hope."
Psalm 119:49.

I want you to know that no promise of God will fail upon you provided you continue to walk in God's ways. Every promise of God has been set for an appointed time and when that time comes nothing will stop it in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                    SUCCESS IS FROM GOD

The determination and the desire to be successful rest inside many of us. However, it is not everyone that put in a great deal of effort that is successful in what they do.
Without doubt hard work pays, but success actually comes from God! When you have the backing of God in what you do, you can be sure you will succeed.
In the book of Joshua, God spoke about good success. ( Joshua 1-8).

In other words, all that glitters is not gold. That's why the bible warns us not to envy those who prosper or those who succeed in their evil ways. Psalm 37:7
Joseph enjoyed the backing of God throughout his life despite working under very difficult circumstances. "The LORD was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did... "
Genesis 39:2.

Similarly, concerning David the bible says; " In everything he did he had great success, because the LORD was with him". 1 Samuel 18:14.

True and good success can only be attained when you align with the call of God for your life.
When Jesus called Simon Peter and Andrew, He said to them; “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men".Matthew 4:19.

Although Peter followed Jesus but he was not willing to let go of his fishing business. On one occasion after Jesus had used Peter's boat to preach to the people, Jesus instructed Peter to launch his net, but Peter replied; "Master, we have toiled all night, and have taken nothing".
Luke 5:5.

On another occasion, Peter with some of the disciples went back to try their luck in the fishing business, but yet again, the bible says Jesus came to the scene and asked them; "Young men, haven't you caught anything?" "Not a thing," they answered. John 21:5.

Brethren, on these two occasions, Jesus instructed Peter to launch his net in the same place where he had tried before. Peter heeded the instructions of Jesus and caught a lot of fishes too much for him and his team to drag.

It goes to show that hard work alone cannot guarantee you success without God having a hand in what you do. That's why the bible says;
"The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the LORD.
Proverbs 21:31.

The same Peter that struggled so much in the fishing business, preached his first sermon and the bible says; "So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added to them".  Acts 2:41.

When you do what God has called you to do, it will come to you effortlessly and you will succeed beyond human understanding.

I pray for you and for myself, the Lord will shine His light upon you and where others struggled you will succeed in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                       IT WILL GET BETTER!

The popular saying is that;  "What doesn't kill you will make you stronger."
Apparently, God uses difficult situations and circumstances to prepare us for greater things.
That's why the bible says: "After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you". 🙏  1 Peter 5:10.

Focussing on the positive side of every difficult situation is very important in our Christian journey. The fact that you and I are alive today is a testament to the notion that, better days are still ahead of us.

Circumstances of life are always subject to change and one of the things that can cause a change is the confession of God’s word. The word of God is capable of giving life to the dead. Dry bones came back to life after the word of God was spoken. ( Ezekiel 37) The word calls into being things which do not exist as though they were. Romans 4:17.

God is capable of doing things that are beyond human comprehension. When the LORD restored the fortunes of Jerusalem, they were like them that dream. Then their mouths were filled with laughter, their tongues with shouts of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” Psalm 126:1-3.

What God did before, He is capable of doing it again. The word of God that I speak to you are spirit and life ,so you are expected to use the word of God to change the situation for the better.
The bible says; "Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ ” Joel 3:10

Therefore, I prophesy into your life, things are getting better, for the Lord is on the throne, things are getting better and so it will be for you and I in Jesus name.🙏
I beseech you to keep looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2.

I pray for you and for myself again: May we never know a better yesterday in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                     YOU WILL NOT BE SHAMED!

"The LORD knows the daily [struggles]of innocent people. Their inheritance will last forever. They will not be put to shame in trying times. Even in times of famine they will be satisfied". 🙏
Psalm 37:18.

Shame can be defined as the painful emotion that is caused by humiliation or any embarrassment that opens up our frailties in the eye of the public.

Ideally, nobody wants his or her dirty linen to be washed in public, we are supposed to cover one another's shame, but the reality of life is that many people out there only want you to eat, but not to be fed.

The Yorubas will say, “Eniyan bi aparo ni omo araye n’fe,” meaning the world loves a person who is like a partridge. The partridge is a poor bird that is feeble and weak by its creation. It has little ability to hunt, gather, protect, or feed itself. Such a person will always experience shame, much more in "difficult times".

However, we serve a God who is interested in covering up or taking away our shame.How did I know this? The very first miracle performed by our Lord Jesus was done to cover the shame of a family.

The bible says there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee and Jesus was there with Mary and the disciples. In the course of the ceremony, Mary went to tell Jesus to inform Him that the people had run out of wine to serve. John 2: 1-4.

Eventually, Jesus instructed the servants to fill empty pots with water and He turned the water to wine. John 2:5-8. Interestingly, our Lord Jesus performed the miracle behind the scene ( Read Matthew 6:1- 4) in order to cover up the shame of that family.

The bible says; When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine, not knowing where it had come from (though, of course, the servants knew), he called the bridegroom over. “A host always serves the best wine first,” he said. “Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best until now!”
John 2:9.

I pray for you and for myself; instead of you being shamed, the Lord will honour you in Jesus name.🙏 Hear me very well children of God; "he who mocks the poor taunts his Maker".
Proverbs 17:5.

In other words, anybody or any situation that belittles or oppresses you is indirectly mocking your God! The good news is that; “for the cause of the oppressed and for the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD. “I will bring safety to him who yearns.” Psalm 12:5.
Although in avoiding shame, there is a place of diligence. "The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor". Proverbs 12:24.

It does not matter what you have gone through before, "fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood". Isaiah 54:4.

Like Mary, it is important to recognise that it is only God that is capable of turning your shame to honour. Mary knew Jesus was capable of rescuing the family from the imminent shame, that was why she told Jesus about the situation.

As you take every insult and scornful abuse directed at you to God in prayer, Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                 IT WILL LEAD TO TESTIMONY!

"Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials".
James 1:2.

Trials and challenges of life are part of the plan of God for us. The bible says the testing of our faith produces perseverance and the essence of our trials is to strengthen us in perseverance so as to make us to be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:3-4.

By the way, our Lord Jesus never promised us an easy life. In fact He said; "Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows". John 16:33.

In other words, saying like; "a life without Christ will be full of crisis"
is not completely true, for a life with Christ is not free of crisis either. Our Lord Jesus was in a boat with the disciples yet there was heavy wind that nearly capsized the boat. Mark 4:36-39.

Everyone of us is being affected one way of the other by the current crisis of covid 19, the only assurance we have in Christ is that whatever crisis that confronts us will not consume us.
I don't know about you, but I believe strongly that what we are going through at this present time cannot be compared to the glory that is going to be revealed to us thereafter.

There can be no testimony without a test. Be it known to you that every test that you are experiencing is the kind that normally comes to people. God keeps His promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, He will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out. 1 Corinthians 10:13.

I want you to be confident of the promises of God which says; For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11

It does not matter what the situation is, do not be troubled or be moved by circumstances, for it will lead to testimony. For me, "I will sing of the steadfast love of the LORD, forever; with my mouth I will make known His faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 89:1.

I say to you once again, do not be troubled by the situation around you, it will lead to your testimony in Jesus name. 🙏

                                                       WALK IN THE TRUTH!

John the Beloved, a disciple of Jesus said; "I have no greater joy than this: to hear that my children are walking in the truth". 3 John 1:4

Permit me to also say to you that I take much delight in seeing young people in this generation who are walking in the light of the Gospel truth.
I mean those who create quality time to meditate on and live the word of God.

Growing up, we used to sing a song that says;
It is a great thing to serve the Lord × 3
Walking in the light of God
Chorus: O walk, walk, walk, walk, walking in the light
O walk, walk, walk, walk, walking in the light
O walk, walk, walk, walk, walking in the light
Walking in the light of God.

That light according to the Psalmist is the word of God; "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path". Psalm 119:105.

Brethren, the evidence of being born again is in living the word of God, which is the truth. That's why Jesus said; "Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth". John 17:17.
Unfortunately, many young people today do not create adequate time to know the word of God. 

We are now witnessing the manifestation of the prophecy made by Apostle Paul when he said; "For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear". 2 Timothy 4:3.

Every word of God proves true, but how much of the truth do we know and apply?
Blessed is the man who finds joy in obeying the Law of the LORD, and studies it day and night. Psalm 1:2

Regrettably, the slogans of this era are words like "my pastor said" "Papa said", "Daddy said", Mummy said" etc.

There is nothing wrong in referencing our spiritual leaders to get directions on issues of life, it is however important that the words of our leaders should have legitimacy in the word of God in order to pass the validity test.
The bible talks about the Berean Christians; They were more open-minded. They listened to the message with great eagerness, and every day they studied the Scriptures to see if what Paul said was really true. Acts 17:11.
Apparently, the approach of young people in this era is different from that of the Berean Christians.
I therefore admonish you to learn from what happened in 1st Kings 13:
Where God sent a "Man of God" from Judah to Bethel to deliver a message. Unfortunately, there was an old prophet in Bethel who did not like the fact that God used a younger man of God from another town to deliver a message to the King in his own town.
Subsequently, he deceived the man of God with his words. Then the man of God succumbed and acted contrary to God's instructions. That man of God died an untimely death due to his foolishness in honouring the words of the old prophet above the word of God.
Brethren, the truth is in Jesus, hence the issue of mentorship should be done as Apostle Paul puts it; "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ".
1 Corinthians 11:1
Many believers are unknowingly living in bondage today. I pray for such people " they will know the truth and the truth will set them free in Jesus name .” John: 8:32
When you know the truth, then you will no longer be tossed back and forth by the craftiness and gimmicks of false prophets who do not really care about your lives but manipulate you and put heavy burden on you for personal gain.
In conclusion, "Like newborn infants, desire the pure milk of the word, so that you may grow up in your salvation". 1 Peter 2:2.
Do not only be the hearer of the word but also be the doer. Speak the truth even when it's not convenient.
If the Son (Jesus) sets you free, you will be free indeed in order to make a difference to your world.
Prayer; "Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name". Psalm 86:11.  So shall it be in Jesus name.

                                                     THE 🍎 OF GOD'S EYE!


Are there not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's care. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. Matthew 10: 29 & 31.

Circumstances of life could make one to feel forsaken. I don't know what your own story is: it might seem as if God is far off. The question on your mind could be; where is God in all of these? The truth is that you are very valuable to God. He cares so much about you.

The phrase "apple of God's eye" is a reference to a person who is very dear or special to God.

The bible says; "Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes". Ephesians 1:4

When Rebecca was pregnant, the LORD said to her; "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger." Genesis 25:23.

People of God, well before Esau and Jacob were born or had done anything good or bad, God had chosen Jacob according to His own purpose. God went further to change Jacob's name to Israel and He blessed him. Genesis 32:28 -29

When Jacob was old he relocated to Egypt with all his 11 sons to meet Joseph and from that time they began to grow in number and became a Nation (Israel) which left Egypt to the promised land. Israel remains the apple of God's eye even unto this very day.

In the same vein, you and I are very special to God. He is mindful of us and everything that concerns us. An American song writer wrote about God's care towards us; 🎼🎹🎤
He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
And He hears me when I call...

Truly, Jesus knows us by our names. He called Apostle Paul (Saul) by name at a time when he was a sinner and testified about him saying; "This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel". Acts 9:15.
You are also precious in God's eyes, for He brought you here for some specific assignments. I don't know what your own assignment (purpose) is, but I plead with you to discover it and work in line with it for fulfilment.

As an apple of God's eye, we enjoy God's divine covering. God keeps us from all evil; He protects our lives and He is the one that keeps our going out and our coming in. However, you cannot live your life in sin and expect that you will continue to enjoy the privileges of being the apple of God's eye.
God made a promise to Eli that his family will always serve Him as priests, but as a result of the sins of Eli's sons and the indifferent attitude of Eli to correct and train his children in God's way, God said to Eli; "Now I tell you that I cannot do this any longer! I honor anyone who honors me, but I put a curse on anyone who hates me". 1 Sam 2:30
In other words, being the apple of God's eye is very dependent on your continuous obedience to God's words. Therefore, as the elect and the apple of God's eye, holy and beloved, I beseech you not to take it for granted, rather you should clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and exhibit a lot of patience and perseverance.
In conclusion, our Lord Jesus said; "You did not choose me, but I chose you.I appointed you to go and produce fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, He will give you". John 15:16
Put simply, if you are winning souls, you are an apple of God's eye. He chose you and He is willing to do all that you request from Him, provided you ask through our Lord Jesus.
The choice is yours. Commit your time and resources to soul winning and God will ensure your wellbeing and protection.

Prayer; Lord Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings forever in Jesus name 🙏.

                                                          ALL SOULS MATTER!


All souls matter to God, whether they are men, women, blacks, whites, Asians, Hispanics, Indians, etc. That's why the bible says;
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". John 3:16.

Without any iota of doubt, our Lord Jesus is coming back for the Church. The bible says;
"Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her, to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless". Ephesians 5:25-27.
Relying on the above bible verses, it is clear that Jesus is not coming back for the church building, rather He is coming for Souls who constitute the Church.

In other words, the Church that our Lord Jesus is coming back to receive does not have walls. It is not that physical building, but rather you and I.

Apostle Paul in his speech to the church leaders in Ephesus said;
"Look after yourselves and everyone the Holy Spirit has placed in your care. Be like shepherds to God's church. It is the flock He bought with the blood of His own Son". Acts 20:28
Consequently, every leader, especially a Christian leader, needs to pay more attention to the life and wellbeing of the people they oversee. Ezekiel 34:2

Again reports have it that there has been immense pressure on the Government to open religious institutions. If you ask me, opening Churches now for large gatherings could be suicidal! It is obviously that it's still not practicable and safe for our children.

Meanwhile, irrespective of the colour of skin or status, every life matters to God. God said;
"Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine".
Ezekiel 18:4.

In the same vein, all souls should matter to every leader. Justice must not only be done but it must be seen to have been done!

Raping and killing of Vera Uwaila Omozuwa in Benin Nigeria in the Church building is highly condemned. The gruesome killing of George Floyd in Minnesota, America by the police and the subsequent brutality of the Police and Military forces on peaceful protesters is equally repugnant.

Permit me to use the words of Andrew Cuomo; Governor of New York, "I stand with the protesters! You cannot display an impression that you love the Church of God and at the same time exhibit detestable indifference to the obvious killing of a member of the Church.

Someone once said: *Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are. That informs the reason people are on the street for the 22year old Uwa in Benin as well as the continuous outrage and protest across America for George Floyd. Justice must prevail in those matters.

The bible says; "He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the innocent are both alike an abomination to the LORD".  Proverbs 17:15.

There are too many injustices in our societies today as a result of abuse of power and position.Evil doers are perpetuating evil with impunity. Unfortunately, such people are in the Church today.
Apostle Paul spoke about them; "I know that after I leave, fierce wolves will come among you, and they will not spare the flock".  Acts 20:29

Children of God, occult, witchcraft, sorcerers are already here among us.Most unfortunately, they are even deceiving the very elect. Matthew 24:24.

Brothers and Sisters; I beseech you in the name of Jesus that you; *"Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them". Ephesians 5:11

In conclusion, Jesus is coming back but what good is it for someone to gain the whole world, attend several church services and yet miss heaven?

Abstain from all appearances of evil and live with the consciousness of end times. May the Lord finds us rapturable in Jesus name 🙏

                                                      WHEN THE DUST SETTLES...

In the journey of life, we’re sometimes faced with unprecedented challenges that make us have to rethink about the way we have lived, it questions the effectiveness of the laws and doctrines that we have been subjected to, perhaps make us to exercise doubts about our faith and everything we have been made to believe.

Without mincing words, the outbreak of covid 19 took the world by surprise. Consequently, the lockdown opened up many shortcomings and hypocrisy of our political, social and religious institutions.

However, Besides the mercy of God, there is nothing else in life that has a beginning without an end. By the grace of God, the dust of covid 19 is gradually settling. Governments across the world are easing up the social, religious and economic space for people to return to their "normal life". Realistically, the way forward would be different from what used to be before the lockdown.

More than 2000 years ago, the disciples of John the Baptist came to our Lord Jesus, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?”  Matthew 9:14.
Then Jesus answered them by saying, "How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.
Matthew 9:15.
In other words, the disciples of Jesus took things for granted because Jesus was still with them, the moment He ascended to heaven they realized they will have to do things differently.
In the same vein, we have taken so many things for granted. Unfortunately, most of the things we prioritized were totally irrelevant during the lockdown.
Going forward, we need to come to terms with the spiritual implications of what is happening now.

God said;  "Behold, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it?
Isaiah 43:19.

People of God, when the dust settles, you will have to close some doors in your life,not because of ego, pride, naivety, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because those doors may no longer lead you somewhere.

Obviously, there has been a paradigm shift in the Spiritual realm which will require some fundamental change of approach and what we prioritized.

"Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is edifying". 1 Corinthians 10:23.
In other words, when the dust settles, we should be focusing more on things that are beneficial and edifying.

When the dust settles, every God fearing leader will have to bury their pride by doing what is necessary for the people and focusing more on the will of God.

"Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need". Matthew 6:33.
When the dust settles, the way we relate with one another should change for the better. Covid 19, does not recognize race, religion, colour, creed, wealth,title, language or borders before striking. It totally removed the barrier of segregation between rich and poor.

Now I know why Apostle Paul said;  "In this new life,it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave or free. Christ is all that matters, and He lives in all of us.".  Colossians 3:11,
When the dust settles, everything will become clearer! God will be unveiling people that have been hidden before now.

"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.  Acts 2:17.
When the dust settles,there will be more revelation of the evil,lies and cover ups that the wicked were involved in at the expense of the life of innocent people.

When the dust settles, your testimony shall be that, "I have counted all my family members, friends and well wishers; not one of us is missing!" So shall it be in Jesus name. 🙏

                                             GOD IS WORKING BEHIND THE SCENE!

The bible says; "God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him." Phillippians 2:13

Obviously, most aspects of our lives have been affected by the outbreak of covid 19. Many people have not done any meaningful work in the last 2-3 months due to the lockdown, but our God is working.

Although, if one relies solely on Genesis 2:2, the bible says; "On the seventh day God had finished His work of creation, so He rested from all His work. Many centuries after the creation. our Lord Jesus said; "My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I too am working."
John 5:17

In other words, God only rested after creation. *He is still working even now. The good news is that He is actually working because of you and I. How did I know?

God called Abraham and said; "Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you." Genesis 22:2.

Abraham obeyed God,he took wood,fire, knife and told Isaac to follow him to make sacrifice. While they were going Isaac said; Father, “Behold the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” Genesis 22:7.
 
Abraham answered him; "God Himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son."
Genesis 22:8.

Eventually, it proved that God was working behind the scene for Abraham. As Abraham was about to kill Isaac God provided a ram as replacement.

The adverse effect of covid 19 is that many people have lost their jobs and the lockdown does not allow for many options. However, our God is not on lockdown, neither is He redundant. He is still working on our behalf.

"Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep". Psalm 121:4:
If God can open our eyes to see arrows, attacks and accidents He averts for us, we will be amazed about how much God is doing behind the scene for our sakes.

While Joseph was going through his difficult trials and challenges, God was actually working behind the scene for him. For every point of Joseph's trials, God made a way of escape.
Apparently,

“The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19.
In other words, you cannot be living in sin and expect God to be working on your behalf.
Romans 6:1.

There are 2 fundamentals that put the machinery of God in place to work for you even as a believer. The very first one is prayer. God said; call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.”  Psalm 50:15.

The Israelites were contended with doing hard labour in Egypt for many years, until they began to cry to God for help. Unknown to them and behind the scene,God was working for them.

God said;
