BEWARE OF WOLVES

Without any iota of doubt, we are living in the end time and the bible makes us to understand that certain things will precede the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Apostle Paul warned us of such occurrences when he said;

"I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them."

Acts 20:29 & 30.

Children of God, wolves; (agents of the devil) are already among us in some of our Churches and many of us are not even aware of them.

Therefore, I say to you be on the alert!

Ordinarily,wolves look very much like a dog but they are actually predators, who are out to steal from you, kill and destroy.John 10:10

The unfortunate thing is that wolves are not outsiders, they are within the Church of God. In fact most of them are now 'prophets', 'apostles', 'pastors' of many churches of this generation.

How did I know? Jesus said.

"Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves".

Matthew 7:15

Jesus used the phrase "wolves in sheep's clothing" to describe people playing a role contrary to their real mission or motive.

The wolves in the Church manipulate and oppress their followers so much that they create fear that you cannot challenge or oppose anything they say or do. Although they know the Scriptures but they usually pick and choose those verses that allow them to trive in their manipulation. They often use bible verses like;

"Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm".

1 Chronicles 16:22, to build a shield of protection around themselves.

Wolves are very cunning and deceitful in the way they operate. If you are a fearless sheep that speaks the truth, they will mark you out as a rebel.

Children of God, wolves are in our Churches, I warn you again. .

"Therefore keep and observe all things they might tell you, but do not do according to their works, for they preach and do not act".

Matthew 23:3.

They preach salvation and soul winning but they are never interested in your spiritual growth. Evangelism is not their ministry they do not create time for it.

They say to you; "God said" and when things happen contrary to their words, they will twist it again. They are very inconsistent in their ways.

Watch out for them, they are only interested in your financial upliftment,what you do for a living does not matter to them so far you drop your seed, tithe and offering.

They are in the work of God for financial gain or the reward that comes with the title or position they occupy.

"They profess to know God, but they deny Him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work".

Titus 1:16.

Brethren, do not be cut unawares, there are wolves in your midst. If you are very observant you will identify them.

I leave you with the words of our Lord Jesus on how to relate with wolves;

“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves".

Matthew 10:16.

I pray that the Almighty God will protect and keep you safe from every wolf where you are in Jesus name.

POINT OF NO RETURN!

Our Lord Jesus Christ said;

“No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Luke 9:62.

The point of no return can be defined as a point where one must continue on one's current course of action or belief because turning back will be very dangerous and costly.

This message is for some of us that have given our lives to Jesus.

Obviously, following Jesus is not a "Bed of Roses". It comes with challenges, trials, doubts, tribulations, persecution and many more.

That's why Jesus said;

"But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved".

Matthew 24:13.

When Jesus called many of His disciples, they all left everything and followed Him. However, when the going got tougher along the line the bible says;

"From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed Him".

John 6:66

Similarly, Jesus foretold what will happen to His followers when the end is near.

"Many will give up their faith at that time; they will betray one another and hate one another".

Matthew 24:10.

Jesus went further to say;

"Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold".

Matthew 24:12.

Without doubt, sin has taken over the world and the love of many have gone very cold Indeed!

Regrettably, many Christians are falling out of faith, commitment to the course of the Gospel has been on the decrease.

Brothers and Sisters, Jesus is asking you and I today "Do you want to leave too?” John 6:67

Perhaps we should answer Him like Simon Peter who said;

"Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life".

John 6:68.

Everyone of us should strive to get to that point of no return when going back from Jesus will be impossible.

Apparently, there is no other safe place to go to; it is either Jesus or nothing!

I pray that the Lord Almighty draws us nearer to Himself to the extent that we will not be able to go away from Him in Jesus name.

BE PATIENT!

The bible says;

"Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days".

Ecclesiastes 11:1

Patience can be defined as the the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.

Apparently, Patience entails waiting, unfortunately most people do not like to wait.

We often crave for instant gratification and quick fix solution but in reality most good things take time before they materialize.

God is interested in blessing us but He takes His time to build our capacity to face trials and challenges of life.

Incidentally, patience is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, (Galatians 5:22) which we are meant to exhibit as believers in everything that we do.

The bible says;

"Teach the older men to exercise self-control, to be worthy of respect, and to live wisely. They must have sound faith and be filled with love and patience".

Titus 2:2.

That reminds me of the popular Yoruba saying that says; (Translated) "An adult that has patience has everything".

Aristotle, the Greek Philosopher also said;

"Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet".

To be able to enjoy the produce of patience, one must have endured the bitter pill that precedes the sweetness.

The bible says we should

"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer".

Romans 12:12.

Do you require healing, a new job, a marriage partner, victory in battle, fruit of the womb, promotion, breakthrough, etc? be patient!

"If we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience".

Romans 8:25.

King Saul who would have reigned as King of Isreal for many years lost the throne because he lacked patience.

Samuel had told king Saul he was coming to him in seven days, but on the seventh day when Saul did not see Samuel he took matters into his own hands and Samuel said to him;

*But now your kingdom will not endure; the LORD has sought out a man after His own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the LORD's command."

1 Samuel 13:13.

Consequently, the impatience of King Saul opened door of fame and crown to an unknown boy in David.

"But now your kingdom must end, for the LORD has sought out a man after his own heart. The LORD has already appointed him to be the leader of his people, because you have not kept the LORD’s command.”

1 Samuel 13:14.

Ironically, David who was anointed as king to succeed Saul had to exercise much restraints and patience in his journey to becoming the successor of king Saul.

Our God cannot be rushed. He requires our steadfastness in prayer, to be hardworking in what we do and to be consistent in our service to Him.

"The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance".

2 Peter 3:9.

Therefore children of God, I enjoin you to;

"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Psalm 37:7.

God deals with us individually, our paths to destiny are not the same. What takes someone one year to achieve can take another five years. Where my own strength lies can be another person's weak point. Therefore we should also be patient with ourselves, just as Apostle Paul said;

"And we urge you brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all".

I Thess 5:14.

In order to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, bearing fruit in every good work; I pray and ask God to strengthen you and I by His glorious might with all the power that we need to patiently endure everything in Jesus name.

In conclusion, be patient until the coming of the Lord Jesus. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

James 5:7-8

MAKE UP YOUR MIND!

Children of God, permit me to use the words of Joshua to the Israelites, as I say to you;

"Choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Joshua 24:15.

Many people are still dilly dallying on whether to accept Jesus or not, while some who claimed to have accepted Jesus are seeking power and solution in evil places.

The truth of the whole matter is that; all Power and authority belongs to Jesus.

Matthew 28:18

"There is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus".

1 Timothy 2:5.

Make up your mind now and let it be said of you that; "In Christ Alone I Stand!" You cannot serve God with one leg in and one leg out.

Brethren, the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is closer than ever before.The signs are everywhere.

However, If He tarries; death is inevitable for all. Although,for us; believers and those who died in the Lord is a time to sleep.

1 Thess 4:13&14

Unfortunately, death has no regard for age, position,status,

title or even anointing.

The reality of death is that, when it comes, there will be no other chance to make amends or repent.

The question is; are you ready for Jesus? if He comes now do you recon you will make it with Jesus?

"Let the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the LORD, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon".

Isaiah 55:7.

Time is running out for everyone to repent now before judgement.

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Mark 8:36

Brothers and Sisters,I beseech you all to; "Honor Christ and let Him be the Lord of your life. Always be ready to give an answer when someone asks you about your hope".

1 Peter 3:15.

When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more,then the roll is called up yonder; may you and I be there in Jesus name.
